Chapters There's Always An Afterwards
Monday Morning Came Too Fast
"Pinkie, dear, it's time to wake up! Sugarcube Corner opens early this morning!" Mrs. Cake called. The pair's heavy breathing subsided.
"Shit." Pinkie groaned as she covered her face wit her hooves.
"What's wrong, Pinkie?" Cheese asked while tightening his grip around Pinkie.
"What's wrong?" Pinkie let out a horny and unstable laugh. "No, nothing at all, except that we just had sex !" She cried.
"Yeah, and it was amazing." Cheese responded nonchalantly. Pinkie flipped over so she was facing Cheese.
"You heard Mrs. Cake! I have a shift that starts right when the shop opens!" Pinkie panicked. "You don't have a shirt to wear, you aren't really supposed to be here anyway!"
"Pinkie. Calm down." Cheese said before kissing the tip of her nose.
"But what am I supposed to do?" Pinkie asked as her pupils grew.
"We'll figure something out." He said. "But for now, we need to clean up your room." He sat up, making Pinkie slide off.
"Eh, you're right.." Pinkie said as they took a scan of the room. Most of the covers of her bed were soaked with their fluids, also being thrown all across the room during the process. Cheese's shirt sat idly, the back ripped straight down the middle. The bed sheets, which had managed to stay on her bed were also soaked with cum, especially where their hindquarters mainly occupied the bed.
"Um, I think I have some spare bed sheets and covers." Pinkie said. "And I know just who can fix your shirt."
Pinkie hopped off the bed and went to retrieve the bed sheets she was talking about. She opened the same closet that Cheese had hidden in the previous night. As she did this, Cheese slid off the bed to get away from his own seed on the sheets that had escaped Pinkie's marehood during his orgasm.
"Found them!" Pinkie said with her head in the closet.
"Great!" He said.
After reluctantly stripping Pinkie's bed of it's wet sheets, they started to lay fresh, new covers on.
"Pinkie! Did you hear me?" Mrs. Cake call.
"Yeah, just hold on a minute!" Pinkie shouted. They started to work twice as fast.
"So Pinkie," Cheese said as he smoothed out the bed sheets. "Have you come up with a plan to get me out of here?"
"Can't you just come down with me?" She asked.
"No. Mrs. Cake came up here last night because she heard a scream from your room, and she might've heard a bit of mine as well." He explained. "I also kind of just made you orgasm before she came in."
"And?" Pinkie asked.
"If I come down with you, without a shirt, it won't take long for her to piece things together that we did it last night." He said.
"Oh yeaah..." She tapped her chin as they finished with her bed.
"Leave that question for later. Now we have to figure out what to do with cum flavoured bed sheets!" Cheese said, pointing at the pile of fabric on the floor. He chuckled. "And let's not forget the smell of unmistakable hot sex!" He grinned.
"Cheesie! This isn't funny!" Pinkie cried, punching his forearm.
"What's so bad about it, Pinkie?" He asked.
"Mr. and Mrs. Cake have always treated me as a child because I act like one." She explained. "Being my guardians, they'd probably be mad at me for loosing my virginity."
"Pinkie, most mares and stallions loose their virginity when they're eighteen. You're twenty one." He said.
"I know, but wouldn't it be better if they knew I was doing it for the first time?" She asked.
"No, that's just awkward." Cheese replied.
"Oh well, we'll figure it out as we go." She said. "About those dirty sheets... hmmm...." She muttered. "I know I have some air freshener in my bathroom, and I'll just put these sheets in the basket in my closet until I get a chance to wash them." Pinkie decided.
"Good idea! I'll get the air freshener!" He replied.
"Okie dokie!" Pinkie said as she picked up the mass of fabric with as little touching as possible, not wanting to get more wet than she already was.
Cheese returned with a spray bottle of air freshener a few seconds later. He placed the can on the padding of his hoof and squeezed the top, making a fresh-smelling liquid dominate the room. For good measures, he opened the closet and sprayed the wet bed sheets.
"Looks like we've got your bed solved." Cheese said. He picked up the remains of his shirt.
"Rarity can fix that." Pinkie said quickly, before whipping her head around and scanning the room. Everything looks good!"
She started walking towards the door when she stopped in mid-step.
"We need a shower." She simply said.
"That... might be a good idea." Cheese replied.
~~~~~~~~~~
Pinkie and Cheese stepped out of the shower, shivering until they both found a warm towel to wrap themselves in. Both their manes drooped from the water. Cheese rapidly rubbed the towel on his mane, not caring if it got any more messy than it already was. Pinkie crazily shook like a dog until her mane got her normal poof back in her mane, as well as her sparkling coat.
"I totally forgot!" Pinkie beamed as she clapped her hooves together. "The balcony of Sugarcube Corner has stairs down to the ground!"
"That's perfect, Pinkie!" Cheese beamed. Pinkie gave him a quick hug and a kiss on the lips.
"See you later." She said. "Don't forget to get your shirt fixed." She have him a saddlebag and walked down the stairs in sluggish way, having no sleep for the past night. Cheese gave one last look at Pinkie before exiting the building through the balcony.
There's Always An Afterwards
"What took you so long, Pinkie?" Mrs. Cake asked as Pinkie walked down the stairs.
"Oh, I'm just really tired and I needed to take a shower." She said, half-lying.
"Alright, well Sugarcube Corner has been open for fifteen minutes now, so let's get to work!" She said.
"Okie dokie lokie," She said before yawning. She walked behind the counter and started to take orders.
"Hi Pinkie!" Twilight greeted as she reached the counter.
"Oh-! Hey Twi," Pinkie said.
"Are you alright?" She asked.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just tired, that's all." She replied.
"Ok, well I promised Spike I'd get him a donut if his cleaned up the library in the castle today." The alicorn said.
"Sure thing! What kind?" Pinkie asked.
"I'm guessing any kind with emeralds on top." She answered.
"Okie dokie! Be right back," The pink pony said.
She left the counter and entered the kitchen. She rummaged through all the drawers until she found a bowl of sparkling green emeralds. She took a freshly iced chocolate cupcake and sprinkled them on. When it looked satisfying to her (if she were a dragon), she held it carefully in her right hoof and returned to the counter.
"Here ya go." She said. "That'll be 4 bits."
"Thanks, Pinkie!" Twilight said as she placed the right bits on the counter.
"Bye Twi," She let out a weak giggle at her accidental rhyme. "See ya later." She let out a big yawn.
"Hey Pinks!" The door rang as Rainbow Dash floated in.
"Hey Dashie." Pinkie greeted.
"I ran into Cheese Sandwich near Sugarcube Corner before I went in," Pinkie's ears perked up.
"You... Did?" She asked.
"Yeah, and his shirt was ripped right down the back, somehow." She said. "He said he needed to go to Rares and fix it."
"Oh....?" Pinkie asked, nervousness rising inside of her.
"Didn't know he was in Ponyville!" Dash said.
"Me neither..."
"Anyway, I came for a chocolate chip and peanut butter cookie." Rainbow said.
"Yeah....!" Pinkie perked up, this was a chance to change the subject. "Be right back!" She returned a couple of seconds later with a bag.
"Thanks, Pinks." She placed two bits on the counter for the well known treat.
"Bye Dashie." Pinkie said. Dash have one last wave before leaving.
Seeing that there was nopony lined up for a treat, she laid her head down on the counter and the next thing she knew, she was asleep.
~~~~~~~~~~
Pinkie awoke to lying in her bed. She sat up and looked around. How did she get here? One thing she did know, is that she felt a lot more refreshed. She yawned.
"Looks like sleepyhead is awake." Cheese said.
"Wha-!" Pinkie flinched at Cheese's sudden words. "What time is it?"
"Shortly after noon." He responded.
"What am I doing in my room?" She asked.
"I saw you snoozing on the counter, so I carried you up to your room." Cheese said.
"But it was still my shift!" Pinkie said.
"Mrs. Cake offered to do it." He said. "She saw how tired you were."
"....oh." Pinkie giggled. "Oops."
"It's alright," He said.
"Your shirt, it's fixed!" Pinkie said.
"Yeah, Rarity would fix it without asking too many questions." He said.
"Rarity is kind of a snoopy type." Pinkie said. Cheese yawned. "Are you tired?" She asked.
"Of course I'm tired." He said. "I came from a party in Manehatten, then has sex with you. Do you think I'm tired?" The stallion asked with a smirk. Pinkie laughed at his straight-up response.
"I guess so," She said. "Why didn't you just sleep while I was sleeping?"
"Watching you sleep is just so cute, I couldn't pass up an opportunity!" He said, a light shade of pink tinting his cheeks.
"You're so cute when you blush!" Pinkie said, jumping on top of him.
"I am?" He asked.
"Of course you are!" She responded. "You are like the cutest thing in the entire universe when you blush!" His blush deepened, earning a giggle from Pinkie.
"just when I blush?" He asked with a smirk.
"Okay, fine." She said. "You're the cutest thing in the entire universe!"
"I'd say the cutest stallion ," He said. "Because you're the cutest mare." Pinkie's cheeks turned dark crimson, even a little bit of the bridge of her nose turned a darker colour.
"You sure know how to flatter me." She said, nuzzling Cheese's nose with her own.
"I am tired." He yawned. "Care to join me?"
"Of course I will!" Pinkie replied, already on her bed again.
Cheese climbed on beside her, and as soon as his head hit the pillow, he was out like a light.
"Sweet dreams, Cheesie." Pinkie said before kissing his forehead and laying her head on his chest. His steady breathing comforted her, sending happiness through her body, wanting her breath to match with his.
She loved every part of him. His face, his mane, his tail, his colours, his eyes, his voice, and most of all, his personality. His sweet and loving personality that lit the way in the dark.
A personality is what made every being special. His personality was more than amazing. It was breath taking. Any mare would be lucky to have such a stallion as handsome and sweet as himself.
And lucky her, he was all hers.
There's Always An Afterwards
Cheese quietly tip-hooved down the side stairs on Sugarcube Corner's balcony. With his ripped shirt tucked inside his saddlebags, he started to trot down the street.
"Cheese Sandwich?" A familiar, scratchy voice called. "Is that you?"
He froze, but he knew he was caught by somepony close to Pinkie.
"Yes, Rainbow Dash, It's me!" He said, trying to sound innocent. When you bang someone's best friend, they've got a little something to say about it.
"Ha, I knew it!" Rainbow laughed. Cheese slowly turned around and smiled.
"How are you, Rainbow Dash?" He asked.
"Oh, I'm good." She said. "Hey, what are you doing here, and why aren't you wearing your shirt?"
"My shirt?" He asked. "Oooh, my shirt." He kicked the ground. "It had a big rip in it... Sooo... I need to go get it fixed at Rarity's."
"Ripped huh?" She asked while crossing her forelegs.
"Yeeup. It ripped at a... Party! Yeah. A party!" He said nervously, his pupils darting everywhere but Rainbow's eyes.
"Oh, whatever, no reason to question you, is there?" She asked. "See ya around, Cheese Sandwich!" She waved before darting of.
"Whew..." Cheese let his breath flow again.
His eyes scanned the street for Rarity's shop, and spotted it way down the street. He broke into a fast trot before he ran into more ponies who would want to make conversation with. The most surprised looks were shot in his direction, though. Finally, he reached the Carousel Boutique.
He pushed the door in, making the bell above it jingle.
"I'll just be a minute!" A familiar voice called from somewhere, growing higher pitched with each word.
Several minutes later, Rarity emerged from behind a purple and pink curtain, her horn glowing blue that held a selection of fabrics in her grasp. She set them down on the table and turned towards him.
"Welcome to Carousel Boutique, how may I hel-" She stopped. "Cheese Sandwich, why, whatever are you doing here?"
"Hi Rarity!" Cheese greeted.
"My, my, what happened to your beautiful yellow t-shirt?" She asked, pointing her white hoof at his bare chest.
"O-oh. It ripped, that's why I came." He said.
"Where would this rip be?" Rarity asked.
"In eh bach!" He said as he opened the saddlebag to pull out his shirt.
"My, what a big rip!" Rarity mused. "All the way through, why happened?"
"Oh, it got ripped at a party in Manehatten, just a little mishap." He responded, hoping it sounded real.
"I see, what kind of mishap?" She asked as she levitated the shirt over to her work table.
"Oouuuh..." He muttered as the hears in his brain cranked into high gear. "The party was very crowed, and many ponies were drunk."
"Do go on." Rarity said as she turned her sewing machine on.
"Somepony tripped near me and grabbed my shirt in hoped it would keep them up." He said. "But it didn't, and they brought me down with them... Ripping my shirt!" He said, finishing with a silent 'whew'.
"How dreadful, a drunk pony ripping your gorgeous wardrobe!" She cried as she zigzagged a yellow thread across the huge rip, pulling it closer in the process.
"So what are you doing in Ponyville, Cheese?" The unicorn asked.
"Oh, I just wanted to visit Pinkie and her friends." He said.
"I see." She said.
Neither pony said anything until his shirt was fixed.
"Here you go." Rarity said. "Have a nice day!"
"Don't I have to pay?" He asked.
"Oh, no, no. It's on me this time." Rarity said. "It's just nice to see you again."
"If you say so!" Cheese smiled and waved before leaving the shop.
~~~~~~~~~~
Cheese opened the door to Sugercube Corner to tell Pinkie that good news about his shirt.
He trotted up to the counter and found his marefriend snoring and laying her head on the counter. Luckily, nopony had lined up. Despite her drooling onto the counter and her unflattering snoring, Cheese considered her cute and adorable mixed together.
Cheese stepped around Pinkie to find Mrs. or Mr. Cake. He found the couple rolling pie crust side by side.
"Mrs. Cake, Mr. Cake?" He asked. They both turned around and smiled.
"Cheese Sandwich! What's pleasant surprise!" Cup Cake beamed.
"Hi, I came to visit Pinkie and her friends and I came in to see Pinkie sleeping, leaning against the counter sleeping." Cheese said.
"Oh, that poor dear, she did say she was tired," Cup Cake responded. "I didn't know she was that tired!"
"Well, she's tired and we can't just let her sleep at the counter." Carrot said.
"I can cover her shift," Cup said. "Cheese, do you mind if you could get Pinkie upstairs and into her bed?"
"I don't mind a bit!" He responded.
"Thank you, Cheese Sandwich." Carrot said.
Cheese retreated to the counter and somehow getting Pinkie onto his back. He turned his neck around. He nuzzled Pinkie's chest and kissed the tip of her nose.
"I won't tell anypony." A voice said. Cheese turned around to face Cup Cake.
"I-uuuh...." He stammered as his cheeks turned dark red.
"It's fine, really." She said as she watched Pinkie's forelegs snake around his neck and tighten.
"I love you...." She mumbled in her sleep, making Cheese's face turn even darker.
"Thank you." He said as his pink marefriend snuggled her nose into his neck.
"It's about time she grew up." She said. His eyes widened at her response.
"Do you...?" He asked slowly.
"Really, it's alright." She touched his chest. "It's about time somepony showed her the way." By now, he felt as if his face might implode from his continuously darkening blush.
He nodded and turned again. He slowly stepped up the stairs, making sure he didn't let Pinkie slide off and fall down the stairs. But then again, if Pinkie pulled any tigger around his neck, she might strangle him.
"There you go." He mumbled as he slid her off and into her bed. Like a foal, she reached out into the air, probably wanting the stallion's neck back.
Cheese leaned in to let Pinkie hug his neck one more time, kissing the bridge of her nose in the process. After finishing with the hug, the pink pony turned on her side and folded her forehooves onto her chest.
Cheese sat nearby on the floor, watching his marefriend comfortably sleep in her bed. His eyes traced her chest, steadily moving up, and down. Up, and down. The strand of mane that hung in front of her face floated up and down with her breathing. Her back right leg shook slightly with every light snore, along with a sound effect with it.
Everything about her was perfect. Her pretty sky blue eyes, her crazy, frizzy mane, the way her energy lasted with his, her loving and funny personality. Overall, she was beautiful. Any stallion would be lucky to have her.
And lucky him, she was all his.
There's Always An Afterwards
Cheese's eyes fluttered open and immediately felt something resting on his chest. Without moving his head, he turned his gaze to his chest. He smiled as he spotted Pinkie's head, her cheek resting right on top of his heart, her breath washing over his body. Her eyes rolled underneath her eyelids, meaning she was dreaming. Her forearms tightened around his waist as she let out a light-hearted moan.
He glanced at the clock on the wall. It was morning. He chuckled to himself about how he and Pinkie had managed to sleep through the rest of the day and into the night.
Suddenly, Mrs. Cake's words echoed in his mind.
"Really, It's alright."
"It's about time she grew up."
It had totally slipped her mind when he and Pinkie were talking before he had his nap. How would Pinkie even respond to this?
He couldn't keep this secret forever, and they couldn't keep this secret from her friends forever. What was there to lose? The worst possible scenario was probably her friends not trusting him, but there were plenty of reasons why that wasn't true. Plus, her guardians trusted him fully.
"Mmmmm." Pinkie mumbled as her eyes slowly opened.
"'Morning." Cheese said.
"Good morning." Pinkie replied. She looked up and gave Cheese a short kiss on the lips.
"How come you always taste like candy?" He asked, after licking his lips.
"I dunno, I just do!" She giggled.
"Are you hungry?" She asked.
"I guess," He said. "I don't recall eating since that party in Manehatten. Well, if you don't count eating some of you." He joked.
"Right." Pinkie smirked and rolled her eyes. "I'll make pancakes!" She jumped off the bed and raced towards downstairs.
"Wait! Pinkie!" Cheese called as he got off of the bed too.
"What?" She asked, racing back.
"I need to tell you something before you go." Cheese said.
"Sure, what is it?" Pinkie asked.
"Um, well," Cheese rubbed his foreleg with the other. "Mrs. Cake kind of, knows."
"W-what?" Pinkie's ears folding back. "You told her?!"
"No, of course not!" Cheese responded. "She's known since it happened. She probably didn't know it was me until I took you upstairs, though."
"What does she think about it?" Pinkie asked, her pupils shrinking.
"She says it's completely fine." Cheese said as he closed his eyes.
"She did?" Pinkie asked.
"Yeah, she even said it was about time you grew up." Cheese chuckled. Pinkie couldn't help laugh at that.
"Really?" She asked.
"Yeah, no joke!" Cheese responded.
"....wow... I never thought they'd understand...." She said, suddenly being quiet.
"It was about time you grew up, just like she said!" Cheese added.
"I guess so...." She said as they walked down the stairs side by side.
"I just hope my friends understand..." She said.
"When do you plan to do that?" Cheese asked.
"I dunno, but not yet." She said. "Mrs. and Mr. Cake was a good start."
"Alrighty, whatever you say." He said.
~~~~~~~~~~
After serving her final customer on her shift, she hoped up the stairs to her room.
She found Cheese sitting on her bed.
"Hi....?" Pinkie asked.
"Hey, I was wondering if I could asked you something." He said.
"Yeah, sure," She answered.
"Well, you don't have to work tomorrow, soo, wanted to ask if you wanted to go on a date... with me?" He asked.
Pinkie leaped from the top of the stairs and onto her bed. She knocked Cheese over, making him do backwards summersaults while she did front summersaults on top of him. They landed with Cheese on the bottom and Pinkie on the top. Cheese quit his squirming as Pinkie pressed her lips against his.
"YES!!!" She shouted as she broke the short kiss.
"Good to......know...!" He wheezed. Pinkie took a quick look at the position they were in. The pink pony's back legs were folded in on his stomach, where all her body weight was going. Her forelegs pressed against his chest in sheer joy, not knowing that they might cut off Cheese's airway, and maybe break a little bit of his ribcage as well.
"Oh, uh, heheheheh!" She giggled apologetically and slowly slid off of the other party pony. He sat up and smiled.
"Where do you want it to happen?" He asked.
"Hmmmm..." Pinkie hummed as she tapped her chin, deep in thought.
"What if we had a picnic?" He asked. "Tomorrow?"
"That sounds great!" Pinkie beamed. "Where, though?"
"I'll show you tomorrow." He said.
"Okie dokie!" Pinkie said as she threw her head on her pillow beside Cheese. The stallion laid back down beside her and planted a kiss on her forehead. A light tint of red appeared on her cheeks.
".......I love you." Pinkie said calmly after a short silence.
"I love you too." He responded.
They both sighed as Cheese pulled Pinkie closer by a hug.
~~~~~~~~~~
"Pinkie, do you want the leftover cupca-" Cup Cake cut herself off. The scene laid out before her was undoubtedly the second cutest thing next to Pound and Pumpkin, after being born, in the world.
The couple laid asleep beside each other. Being a generally small mare, plus him being taller, her head snuggled right under his chin, on his chest. His muzzle pushed in her mane, probably breathing in the sweet aroma that somehow always came from her mane.
"I muv ooo..." Pinkie sighed into his fur. Cheese moaned in return.
"I'll leave you two be...." Mrs. Cake whispered to who she knew was only her listening.
There's Always An Afterwards
Celestia's sun began to dip below the horizon, making shadows grow longer, and streets empty.
One pink pony, though, was bouncing on the spot, waiting for her stallion.
Her bounces became less passionate as she waited. Being the paranoid pony she could be, she began to think that he wouldn't show up. Then she stopped bouncing all together.
"Pinkie!" A voice shouted. "Sorry I'm late!" Cheese said as he approached Pinkie.
"Cheesie!" She exclaimed. "I thought you weren't coming!"
"Why in Equestria would you think that?" The orange stallion asked.
"I dunno, I can just be paranoid sometimes..." She said as an embarrassed blush appeared on her face.
"I was late because I was making sure that our first date would be perfect." He said as he have her a quick hug. "Now c'mon, close your eyes!"
"Okay...." She smirked as her eyelids covered her sparkling blue eyes.
"I'm gonna guide you to the spot!" He beamed.
"Lead the way!" Pinkie said. He responded by putting a hoof on her back.
Cheese lead Pinkie through the darkened Ponyville, almost driving her into a tree a couple of times.
"Here we are!" Cheese said. "You can open your eyes." She opened her eyes, making her smile grow bigger and her heart flutter.
"You did all of this for me?" She asked, her cheeks turning darker.
"Uh, yeah!" Cheese chuckled. "Anything for my mare!"
"You're so sweet!" She giggled.
In front of them, Cheese had set up a red and white checkered picnic blanket. On it was a brown picnic basket. The scene was under a leaning willow tree that overlooked a small stream to the side. Pinkie then noticed that they were at the edge Whitetail Forest. Fireflies blinked and the birds that stayed out late whistled their song. An owl's 'hoo' could be heard in the distance.
"C'mon, let's sit down." Cheese said. The couple took their spots across from each other.
"I figured you already ate, so I just packed some sweets." Cheese said.
"Like whaaaaat?" Pinkie asked, leaning closer to the stallion.
"Like," He paused as he stuck his hoof into the basket. "Your favourite cupcake!" Cheese beamed as he pulled out a red velvet cupcake with lemon frosting, holding a cherry at the top.
"How did you know?!" She gasped.
"Mrs. Cake told me." Cheese shrugged as the mare snatched it from his hoof. He took another cupcake out of the basket for himself.
The couple laughed and talked through the evening while eating the snacks that Cheese had packed.
"Y'know what this reminds me of?" Cheese asked. The pink mare turned her attention to see that the moon was almost at its highest.
"I can think of one thing..." Pinkie smirked. "Only there's no mattress to look for."
"But there is a Pinkie Pie to kiss!" He said before leaning in and locking their lips together. Caught by surprise for only a second, she leaned in to his body and snaked her hooves around his neck. With an 'oof', Cheese fell onto his back.
"We're not taking this further than we have already, right?" Pinkie asked as she gasped for air.
"Not if you don't want me to." Cheese smirked.
"Kay, because I'm not really in the mood." She said.
"What do you mean, 'you're not in the mood?" He asked. "You're always in the mood!"
"I dunno, I'm just not up for it ." She said.
"Alright, whatever you want." Cheese said as Pinkie tumbled off of his stomach.
Silence took over the pair as more and more stars appeared in the sky. Pinkie felt Cheese's body warmth reach her body.
"Cheesie?" She asked.
"Yeah?" He responded.
"Why did you fall in love with me in the first place?"
At first, he didn't answer.
"........I don't know."
"What do you mean, 'I don't know'?" She said as she sat up with a sad look in her eyes.
"Maybe that came out wrong. But," He paused. "That's the truth. I really don't know. I just... fell for you."
"...You did?" She asked.
"Yeah, I mean, you're funny," He kissed the top of her forehead. "You're smart," another kiss, only slightly lower. "You're energetic," another kiss. "You're loving," He kissed the bridge of her nose. "You're beautiful," he kissed the tip of her nose. "But that's not why I love you."
"Why do you?" She asked, her ears folding back.
"I love you, for you ." He said before pressing his lips against hers again. She gasped through her nose as the distance between their faces closed.
Pinkie almost followed Cheese's lips as he broke their long kiss.
"Why were you thinking about this in the first place?" He asked.
"Like I said, before you, nopony had ever kissed me before." She said.
"Yeah?" He said.
"Nopony has really ever considered me as a mare to be with," She said as as looked down.
"Why would they think that?" Cheese asked.
"Most ponies think of me as a bungle of energy.... too much to handle." Pinkie said.
"You're not too much to handle..." He paused. "....You just needed to find the right stallion."
"You always know what to say..." Pinkie said as she curled up in his lap like a cat.
Cheese felt Pinkie's steady breaths caress his body. Then it hit him; Pinkie was calm . That's what she meant. Ponies who knew her, knew her for being the fun-loving crazy mare she was, but when the mood was right, the pony in his lap could be considered... calm.
"Cheesie, can you promise me something?" Pinkie asked.
"Anything."
"Can you promise me that you won't leave Ponyville for partying?" She asked without regret.
"....of course I can." He said. "Nothing in Equestria could keep me away from you.... I think you learned that the pleasurable way."
Pinkie giggled. "Pinkie Promise?"
"Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!" He said as he recited the motions.
"Thank you!" She gave his belly a quick kiss and hug.
Nothing was said after that. The couple just enjoyed their company and looked up at the stars.
A shiver ran through Pinkie's body as the night grew colder. Noticing this, Cheese gripped the hem of his shirt and started to pull it off. Pinkie jumped slightly as he fit the yellow shirt over Pinkie's body. He then tightened his arms around her body to share his body heat.
And before she closed her eyes, she whispered; "Thank you."
For no particular reason. It could've been for the shirt, the evening or the reassuring. But she was thankful, and so was Cheese.
There's Always An Afterwards
Pinkie hopped down the Main Street of Ponyville, enjoying the sunshine and making the few sad or mad ponies smile along the way. After her and Cheese's date, she had never felt more refreshed in her life, despite falling asleep after midnight. Maybe it was because she had a special somepony to sleep with.
Cheese was somewhere around town, trying to find a job worth doing, considering he was staying in Ponyville.
"Hey Pinkie!" Rainbow called as she landed behind her.
"Oh, hey Dashie!" She greeted. "What's up?"
"Nothing much at the moment." She said. "But," she said. "This morning, I was cloud busting near Whitetail Forest,"
"You.... Were?" Pinkie asked nervously.
"Yeah, and you know what I found?" Rainbow asked.
"What did you.... Find?" Pinkie asked as her pupils shrank to pinpoints.
"I found," She said as a creepy smile creeped onto her face. "You, and Cheese Sandwich, together! "
"Awe, cupcakes!" Pinkie said as she covered her eyes, her belly brushing with the ground. "You got me!"
"You two are......" She struggled to think of the right word. "Together?"
"Yeah...." She replied.
"How did it happen?" Rainbow asked.
"Started?" Pinkie asked as her cheeks turned a dark crimson. "Can I take, a rain check on that?"
"Kay, fine." Rainbow said as she shrugged.
"Did you tell anypony?" Pinkie asked.
"Weeeeell," Rainbow said as she rolled her eyes and smiled. "I might've told Fluttershy...."
"Oh, phew!" Pinkie said as she wiped her forehead of the nonexistent sweat. "I was afraid you told Rarity or something!"
"What's wrong with Rarity?" Dash raise an eyebrow.
"Nothing!" Pinkie responded. "But if you told her, the whole town would know by now!" Rainbow chuckled.
"Well if you plan on telling Rarity, you'll have to tell the rest of the town first, then." She said.
"Hey Pinkie!" Cheese called as he approached the two mares. "Oh, hey Rainbow Dash!"
"Hey Cheese!" Rainbow said.
"Hey Cheesie!" Pinkie said as she smiled. A giggle came from Rainbow at the mention of Cheese's nickname.
"What's so funny?" Cheese asked.
Rainbow then fell onto her back and started laughing uncontrollably, her hind legs wiggling.
"Pinkie and Cheese, sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G," Rainbow said through her laughing. Cheese looked at Pinkie, with a face that said 'what.'. "First comes love, then comes marriage, then come a little foa-!" Pinkie shoved a hoof nearly in Rainbow's mouth.
"As funny as the was," She smiled innocently. "I'm gonna pass on listening to the whole thing." She giggled lightly.
"Did you...?" Cheese asked with a raised eyebrow.
"No!" Pinkie cried.
"Then how does she know?" He asked.
"She found out herself when she was cloud busting near Whitetail Forest this morning," Pinkie responded.
"Then comes a little foal in a foal carriage!" Rainbow whispered the rest of the popular rhyme.
Pinkie thought about the last sentence that Rainbow had mentioned. She knew what 'doing it' did. She brushed it off. She also thought about the whole 'marriage' part. She had never really thought about getting married. She sort of just wanted to live a free and happy life. Now that Cheese was in the picture, was it worth it? And who kisses in a tree? She glanced at Cheese.
"I'm gonna leave you two be," She giggled. "Got some weather jobs to do."
"'Kay Dashie!" Pinkie said like nothing happened. "Have fun!" Rainbow waved before dashing off, her prismatic tail turning into a full on rainbow trail behind her.
"Llliiiike I was saying," Cheese said as he turned his attention to Pinkie. "I found a job where I sell party favours and other party stuff!"
"You did?" Pinkie asked. "What's it called?"
"Ray's Party," Cheese smirked.
"Oh," She giggled. "A Ray doesn't work there anymore."
"Really? Why not?" Cheese asked.
"It's a really old shop," She said. "He retired awhile ago!"
"How interesting." He chuckled.
"Also, it's where I buy my party things," She said. "That is, if I don't make them!"
"You make them sometimes?" Cheese asked.
"Sure!" She said. "They're so fun to make and everypony enjoys them!"
"Oh," Cheese replied. "I've always been in the go, so I've never really had the time to get into that kind of stuff."
"Maybe you could start, now that you're staying!" Pinkie beamed.
"Yeah," Cheese said.
"Hey, if Dashie and 'Shy know," Pinkie said. "Maybe the rest of my friends should know!"
"The whole town?!" Cheese asked as his eyes widened.
"No, of course not!" The mare giggled. "I mean Twi, Rares, AJ and Spike!"
"Oooooh," Cheese laughed. "I get it!"
"Alrighty, let's go!"
"Right now?" Cheese asked as he chased after her. "But I'm hungry!"
"I feel you," Pinkie giggled. "I'm like, always hungry!"
"Always?" Cheese asked.
"Yeah, but it's not like I can eat all the good in the world!"
"Hm," Cheese shrugged. "I guess I'll wait."
"Yay!" She beamed. "Now everyone can find out sooner!"
"Hooray..." Cheese muttered, not sure of Pinkie's decision once it sunk in.
There's Always An Afterwards
"I don't like it when it rains." Pinkie said as her ears taped to the back of her head and watched the rain pour down outside the window, her elbow resting against the windowsill.
"Why not?" Cheese asked as he approached her from the kitchen, carrying two donuts. He hoofed one to her.
Pinkie sighed. "Everypony's sad and wanna rush inside their houses." She took a bite of her donut and swallowed almost instantly as multicoloured sprinkles fell to the floor. "I like the rain, I just don't like it when it rains."
"Huh?" Cheese muttered as he licked some sprinkles off his donut.
"I like the rain but when it rains, everyone is wearing a frowny-face and nopony wants to play with me." Pinkie said.
"I could play with you." Cheese said as he ate half his donut.
"You would?!" Pinkie beamed as her tail started waging like a dog's.
"What else are coltfriends for?" Cheese asked.
"A lot of things, but I still don't care," Pinkie beamed as she threw her arms around Cheese, her voice becoming muffled. "You're so awesome!!"
"You're even more awesome," Cheese said back.
Pinkie giggled in return.
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Pinkie asked. "Let's go!"
Cheese nodded as he shoved the rest of his donut in his mouth and followed in close pursuit behind Pinkie as she darted out the door of the closed bakery. He immediately shivered as he stepped outside, the cold raindrops splashing on his orange fur.
"If we get frostbite, it's your fault !" Cheese chuckled as he ran of, his lifted hoof touching her shoulder. "Oh, and, tag you're it!!!"
"Hey!" Pinkie called. "You gotta head start!"
"Ha ha!" Cheese laughed.
"It's too bad I'm faster than you!" Pinkie giggled as she somehow appeared in front of Cheese.
"What the-?" Cheese wondered as he planted his back hooves nearly in between his fronts and and time a skidding halt.
Pinkie giggled as she lightly tapped him on the nose with a high pitched 'boop'. And then she was off running again.
She gave one glance at Cheese, making him come to a halt again. Her eyes sparkled with excitement and glee.
Pinkie stopped too. She looked back at Cheese, whose mouth was slightly agape, and whose eyes were wide open. Her heart pounded from the excitement of finally playing in the rain, and by the funny sight of Cheese being soaked. She probably looked pretty ridiculous too.
"Cheesie? Are you okay?" Pinkie asked.
"Hm? Yeah I'm fine, just admiring how beautiful you are," Cheese responded with a smile as he inched closer and closer to her.
"Awe! Thanks!" Pinkie giggled as she blushed.
"Oh, and tag you're it!" Cheese laughed as he tagged Pinkie on her shoulder.
"You're gonna get it now, mister!" Pinkie fumed playfully. She started hopping towards Cheese, who was currently making silly faces at Pinkie. She couldn't help but giggle. She stopped hopping and galloped towards Cheese.
For the safety of his shirt, he pulled in off and hung it on a tree branch nearby, right before Pinkie pretty much body checked him into a giant mud puddle, her tumbling down with him.
With a big splash , both ponies were covered in mud. Instead of saying 'eeeeeew! My coat!' (Like one pony she knew), she bursted into laughter. Cheese joined in once he realized that Pinkie was okay.
Once the laughter calmed down, all that was heard was their breathing and the rain patting on every surface facing the sky. For the first in a long time, Cheese stared into Pinkie's huge, blue and cute eyes.
More mud had collected on Cheese's coat, considering Pinkie was on his belly.
"Can I kiss you?" Cheese asked.
"What's the passcode?" Pinkie asked as she sat up and crossed her forearms.
"Please?" Cheese asked.
"Correct!!" Pinkie beamed.
Before anything else was said, Cheese slid his lanky forearms around Pinkie neck and pulled her into a passionate kiss. Pinkie's hooves planted themselves behind her coltfriend's ears as her head tilted slightly. One of Cheese's hooves stroked Pinkie's mane, while the other ran down her back, making her giggle and wiggle ever so slightly.
All around them, the rain poured harder and harder until Pinkie started to shiver. A huge crack of lightning tore through the sky as extremely loud thunder erupted through Ponyville.
"Yikes !" Pinkie screamed as she used Cheese's chest as a launch pad. He coughed as she shot away.
"Uuuuuhhhhhnng....." He groaned as he rubbed his chest.
"Oh-uh- oops! Sorry..." Pinkie giggled.
"It's... alright...." He huffed. He sat up, and finally got out of the mud puddle.
"Cheesie....." Pinkie giggled. "...I don't think Mrs. Cake will let you inside of Sugarcube Corner!" She started laughing.
"Wha-" Cheese stopped as he noticed almost his entire body was covered with dripping mud, that was continuously getting more watery as the rain kept falling. "Oh." He simply said.
"Don't worry- I think it'll wash off 'cause of the r-rain," Pinkie said as her shuddering reached her jaw.
"Pinkie, are you cold?" Cheese asked.
"Y-yeah, a l-l-little bit" She managed as her teeth chattered.
"I don't know how much this will help, but," He wrapped his wet arms around Pinkie's chest, locking her forearms in the the hug.
Pinkie stopped shivering and smiled. "Yeah Cheesie." She said. "That helped a lot." She nuzzled Cheese's cheek with her own.
"I'm glad," Cheese said. "But we should go inside, 'cause I'm cold too, and we won't be warm for long."
"Okay." Pinkie whispered. Cheese put his shirt on and followed Pinkie.
More lightning flashed and thunder boomed as the couple walked back to Sugarcube Corner, their legs too numb to run.
As Cheese opened the door the the bakery, the smell of pastries and warmth enveloped them.
"That's strange," Pinkie muttered. "Sugarcube Corner should've been closed a long time ago!"
"Oh, you two are back!" Mrs. Cake said as she walked into the shop part of the building. She smirked at the sight of the two dripping wet ponies. "I saw you go outside in the rain, so I decided to make some muffins and hot cocoa!"
"Oh, Mrs. Cake, you didn't have to!" Pinkie laughed.
"But you must be freezing!" Cup Cake said.
They paused for a moment. "Yeah, we are kind of hungry." Cheese said.
~~~~~~~~~~
"I think you need to take Pinkie up to bed again." Mrs. Cake said.
"Hm?" Cheese looked up, and then back down to Pinkie,
Her eyes her closed, her breathing becoming more steady. She still held half of her ninth cupcake in her bent hooves, which slipped out and dropped to the ground. Several crumbs dotted Pinkie's face, as well as a glob of icing on her nose.
"Oh...." Cheese smiled warmly at the sight of his marefriend in his hooves.
"You're a lucky stallion," Mrs. Cake said. "I've never seen her so calm and happy in my life."
"Really?" Cheese asked.
"Yes. You know how crazy she can be." She chuckled.
"I guess," Cheese said. "I only had the chance to witness her true personality at Dash's birthday,"
"I'd say that's plenty of time for someone like Pinkie." Mrs. Cake laughed. "Just don't get on her bad side, and if she is, don't let her buy turnips."
"I'll be sure to," Cheese said as he got Pinkie on his back once again.
Lightning flashed through the building, making Cheese's heart rate speed up. Thunder followed the lighting, making the windows rattle.
He slid Pinkie off his back and Onto her bed, him laying down beside her. Before closing his eyes, he attempted to wipe the icing off Pinkie's nose, only for her to lick his hoof with a 'non' where the icing was and pull him closer so their heads were pressed together.
Cheese smiled as he kissed her ear and whispering, "I love you," before falling asleep.
There's Always An Afterwards
"Two huge pancakes for the kids!" Pinkie cheered as she flopped a pancake almost bigger than the plates in front each of the little Cakes.
"Yay Auntie Pinkiehh!" They both sputtered.
Ever since the twins started to talk, they had been calling Pinkie 'Auntie Pinkieh'. Which was fine by her, of course. It made her happy, because she didn't have a foal of her own.
Y'know what I could really go for right now? Pinkie asked herself. Pickles dipped in chocolate! She raised an eyebrow. Why does that sound good all the sudden?
She shook it off, and decided she was going to try it later, when she wasn't watching the twins.
The two kids had stopped wearing diapers, making it so much easier to watch them. The Cakes were out for a bit buying supplies, and hoofing the job to watch the kids to Pinkie.
She already had breakfast before Pound and Pumpkin had even woke up. Yet, she was still hungry. More than normal, at least.
Cheese was at his new job, so they wouldn't have been able to do anything together that day, at least, not until 5:00.
Suddenly, the door to the bakery flew open.
"PINKIE PIE!!" Rarity shouted as she rushed in.
"AHH!" Pinkie yelled as she nearly jumped out of her skin, falling on her back. Pound and Pumpkin giggled at her clumsiness.
"Oh, sorry dear, I was just excited." Rarity apologized.
"Excited about what?!" Pinkie asked as a smile appeared on her face.
"I heard the news..." Rarity giggled. "From Twiiilight..."
"News from Twi...." Pinkie itched her head.
"The one where you got a coltfriend!" Rarity beamed.
"Oooooh, that one!" Pinkie giggled. "Right."
"It's about time you got a special somepony." Rarity huffed happily. "Who knew? Cheese Sandwich."
"Kinda funny, 'cause I used to hate him." Pinkie laughed.
"I'm not quite sure how it happened either." Rarity said. "How did this all start?"
Not this again! Pinkie said to herself as alarms went off in her head.
"Pinkie, are you alright, dear?" She asked. Pinkie's face was bright red and she looked upwards, not at Rarity's face.
"I'm fine!" Pinkie blurted. She didn't know how to say it happened, it wasn't just a normal confession or anything.
"I-uuuuh...." Pinkie rolled her eyes in thought.
Rarity put a hoof to her mouth. "Pinkie, did you two d-" Pinkie stuck a hoof in Rarity's mouth as her face turned crimson. She spit it out and gasped. "You did !"
"Do what?" Pinkie asked. Pumpkin giggled in the background. Rarity spared her a glance.
"You know what I'm talking about!" She hissed, lowering her voice to a whisper. "Children are around and I shall spare their childhood!"
Pinkie said nothing, only sighed.
Rarity gestured her hoof to Pinkie, signalling for her to move further away from the two kids.
"What?" Pinkie asked.
"You-you did it with Cheese?" Rarity asked.
"I did it?" Pinkie asked. She went silent for a moment. Then her face went darker than Big Mac's coat.
"Ooooooooohhhh." Pinkie muttered, her face getting increasingly darker. "I-I-I-"
"Oh my Celestia you did!" Rarity cried. "That's how you chose to start a relationship?!"
"Who said I had a choice?" Pinkie giggled. "I didn't really think that's something you think through."
"So what," Rarity said. "It just... happened?"
"Yyyes?" Pinkie tilted her head.
"What happened?" Rarity asked. She froze. "That came out wrong."
"Silly Rarity! I'm not gonna tell you what happened!" She stood up straight and put on a straight face. "Classified information."
"I said that came out wrong." Rarity said.
"What did you mean?" Pinkie asked.
"Never mind." Rarity groaned.
"Okie dokie lokie!" Pinkie bounced away as if nothing happened. "Oh, and don't tell anypony,"
"I won't." Rarity said.
"No, really." Pinkie giggled. "I know you like to gossip." She said over her shoulder.
"Okay, okay, I won't." Rarity reassured.
"Thanks!" Pinkie beamed as she wiped the unbelievable amounts of syrup off Pound and Pumpkin's face.
~~~~~~~~~~
It was a slow day for Cheese. Not many costumers came through the door. His head propped against his hoof, which was resting against the desk. It was already 3:30, and only a few ponies had come in for small amounts of party favours.
He couldn't wait to get home to his marefriend, who was probably having much more fun than him.
"Hey Cheese?" His boss asked. He turned to him.
"What's up?" He asked.
"Seeing we have slow business today, how about you head home, I can take it from here." He said.
"Oh, really?" Cheese asked. He nodded. "Thanks so much!" He smiled. "See you tomorrow!"
As he left the building, he felt it the air get somewhat cold.
Autumn is coming. He thought as he noticed the trees nearby, which had started to turn a strange yellowish green. Some leaves had even turned orange already.
When he turned his attention back to in front of him, he saw Sugarcube Corner approaching as he broke into a gallop.
He burst through the door, causing Rarity and Pinkie's heads to snap towards him. She started panting, earning funny looks from both mares.
"Why are you so tired, and why are you here early?" Pinkie asked.
"Well, it was a slow day, so boss let me off early," He took in a gulp of air. "And I couldn't wait to see you."
"Awwww!" Pinkie cooed as she balanced her forelegs on Cheese's shoulders and gave him a kiss on the bridge of his nose.
"Why can't I have a coltfriend like Pinkie?" Rarity asked to nopony it particular. "She didn't even try!"
Pumpkin, who was sitting on the table, looked at her and shrugged.
"Rarity knows knows," Pinkie said quietly.
"What?!" Cheese cried, failing to keep his voice low.
"Don't worry, it's fine!" Pinkie said. "She's fine with it!"
"She is?" He asked.
"Yeah, and I told her not to tell anypony ."
"O-o-okay." Cheese muttered.
"Well, I have to get going, Sweetie Belle should be home from school soon." Rarity spoke up.
"Okie dokie!" Pinkie beamed. "See ya later, Rares!"
"Bye you two!" Rarity said as she walked through the still open door, closing it behind her.
The couple looked at each other.
"What do you wanna do for the rest of the day?" Cheese asked. She didn't respond.
"Wanna cuddle?" Cheese asked, leaning closer to her.
"Sure, but first, wanna try some pickles dipped in chocolate with me?"
There's Always An Afterwards
"Y'know, we need to have a party." Pinkie said.
"I was waiting for you to say that!" Cheese laughed.
"Waiting?" She asked as she took a bite out of a huge cupcake with a pickle on top.
"Yeah, waiting." Cheese shrugged.
"Hm. We'll have one sometime." She said. "I'm just not feeling well right now..."
"What, like your stomach hurts?" He asked.
"Yeah," Pinkie said.
"Pinkie?" Cheese asked. He took a closer look at her. She had bags under her eyes. "Did you get enough sleep last night?" He asked.
"No. Not at all." Pinkie mumbled. "My stomach hurt too much to fall asleep for more than half an hour."
"I don't think eating a cupcake will help." Cheese said.
"I don't care!" Pinkie snapped.
"Okay, Miss Grumpy Hooves!" Cheese smirked.
"I'm not grumpy!" Pinkie muttered.
Cheese shrugged and laughed.
"Hey, have you been eating more than usual?" Cheese asked.
"No, Why?" She asked.
"No reason..." Cheese replied.
"What, do you think I'm fat ?!" Pinkie dropped her cupcake and looked at Cheese right in the eye. "I'm not fat!"
"I didn't say-" Cheese started.
"Aren't you my coltfriend ?!" She fumed.
"Yeah, I a-" Cheese slowly backed up as Pinkie gained on him, when suddenly his back hit the wall.
Pinkie leaned in close to his face.
"I didn't say you look fat, I just asked if you'd been eating more than usual," Cheese said calmly. "And you have been eating more. I'm just concerned, that's all."
Suddenly, Pinkie's eyes welled up with tears.
"I'm sorry! I'm so so sorry!" She sobbed.
What in the name of Luna? Cheese thought as Pinkie squeezed the air out of him in one hug.
"Calm down, Pinkie, it's okay!" Cheese held his hooves up. "Are you okay?"
Pinkie paused.
"I don't know..." She whimpered. "I haven't been feeling myself the past month..."
"Maybe... You should see if somepony can help." Cheese said.
"What about Twilight?" Pinkie asked.
"Sure, I was thinking more like a doctor, but okay," He shrugged.
"I don't like the doctor, he always tells me that I need to eat less sugar, or I'll get diabetes!" Pinkie said.
"Maybe you should take his advice." Cheese said.
"Hmmmmm..." Pinkie thought for a minute. "...nah!" She giggled.
"Alright, fine." Cheese chuckled.
"Let's go then!" Pinkie said as she bounced off.
~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey Twi!" Pinkie beamed as she appeared behind her.
"AH!" Twilight shouted as she lost her magical grip and dropped a book. "You've got to stop doing that..."
"Oops! Sorry!" Pinkie giggled.
"We need your help," Cheese said.
"With what?" Twilight asked as she stood up.
"Pinkie." He responded.
"Well there's a lot about Pinkie that he needs help with— I mean, how?" Twilight asked.
"I dunno, she hasn't been feeling herself for the past month or so, she's been eating strange food combinations, sh—" Cheese said.
"Can you use your magic to find out what's wrong with me?!" Pinkie spurted.
Twilight closed her eyes for a moment and thought. She closed her wings and turned around, facing a bookshelf. Her horn kit up as she encased a red book in a magenta aura. It floated off the shelf as the pages flipped open, bringing it to the alicorn's view. Her eyes ripped across the pages in search of a spell.
"Aha!" She beamed as she planted her hoof in the middle of a page.
"What?" Pinkie asked.
"I found a spell to see if a pony is holding a sickness or anything." She explained.
"Okay, can you do it?" Cheese asked.
"I don't know," Twilight said as he turned her head, the book moving with it. "It looks tough, but I'm willing to try for you Pinkie."
"Okay, give it a shot!" Pinkie said.
The purple mare took a deep breath as she placed the book on the floor and concentrated her magic on the spell at hoof. Her horn began to glow brighter and brighter as she worked her magic. Her eyes closed, and then opened again, but they glowed a white that Pinkie knew all too well from wielding the Elements Of Harmony. Turning her attention to herself, the pink mare noticed that she had started glowing purple. She held back a gasp, not wanting to break her friend's concentration. Twilight mindlessly sat on her rump as her wings flared open, her horn becoming so encased in magic that the couple could barely see her actual horn.
Everything happened at once. Twilight let out a small yelp as her overpowered magic threw her backwards, as well as Pinkie, who was caught by her coltfriend.
Ripped pages of books fluttered to the ground as Pinkie opened her eyes. She felt a throbbing pain at the back of her head where she hit Cheese's jaw.
"Uuuuhhhnnng...." Pinkie moaned as she sat up.
"A-are you okay, Pinkie?" Cheese asked
"Yeeah," She stood up, nearly losing her balance, but staying on her hooves.
As she walked over to her princess friend, she began to stir. She fix her bangs as she stood up.
"Twi! You're okay!" Pinkie beamed as she gave her a tight hug.
"Yes- I'm.... Fine!" She wheezed.
"Oh, sorry," Pinkie said sheepishly as she released Twilight.
"So, is there anything wrong with Pinkie?" Cheese asked.
"Well," Twilight started. "The good news is, that you're not sick," The couple sighed in relief. But then Twilight's eyes changed to a look mixed with shock and worry.
"But," She said.
"Pinkie," Twilight said quietly.
"Pinkie, you're pregnant.

Pregnancy is Something Conpletely Unaproachable For Me
Pinkie only stared back at Twilight with wide blue eyes.
Suddenly, one of the windows crashed open as a familiar blue blur darted in.
"Twilight! I heard an explosion and I wasn't sure if you were okay or not!" Rainbow Dash cried.
"Rainbow! Everything's fine... I guess..." Twilight responded.
"What do you mean, I gue-"
"I'm.. PREGNANT ?!" Pinkie interrupted.
"I think I heard her wrong," Dash said.
"No Dashie!" Pinkie jumped on top of Rainbow and looked at her. "I'm really pregnant....... I-I-I'm gonna have a foal..." Tears welled up in her eyes.
"I am sooo confused," Rainbow complained as she closed her wings. "Why , is Pinkie pregnant, and how in the wide wide land of Equestria did is happen?!"
"Rainbow, there's only one way how that could have happened." Twilight said as her cheeks turned slightly darker.
Rainbow looked at her best friend. "Eeeeewww..." She groaned.
"I-I-I c-can't believe I'm having a foal..." Pinkie huffed.
A blue head and a purple head turned to face Cheese.
"What?" He asked, snapping out if his daze.
"You made her pregnant, didn't you." Twilight said.
"Hey, why would you think that?" He said nervously as he began to sweat.
"Because Pinkie has never been with another stallion in his whole life!" Twilight said.
"And ," Rainbow started. "When you didn't tell me how it started, could I say suspicious?" She asked. "Yes."
"Lay off you guys, of course he did it," Pinkie giggled.
"Pinkie...!" Cheese said in an alarmed manner.
"I KNEW IT!" Rainbow beamed as she hoof pumped the air. "Wait... Eeeewwww!"
"But I'm gonna have my own little foal...?" Pinkie muttered. "I think I'm gonna be sick... Literally...."
"Well, I should probably take Pinkie home before she makes a mess of your floor!" Cheese chuckled as she patted Pinkie's back.
~~~~~~~~~~
"So what do you want to do about the rest of your friends?" Cheese asked. "I mean, best friends."
"Maybe we can deal with this tomorrow because I'm not feeling well... I feel a little dizzy..." Pinkie responded.
"A-are you okay?" He asked with a worried tone.
Pinkie let out a light giggle. "I'm fine silly, it's a side effect for being pregnant, Y'know."
"I knew that." Cheese said sheepishly.
"Hey, c'mere." Pinkie whispered.
"Okay." He moved closer.
She pulled his neck closer and whisper in his ear.
"Thank you, for staying with me." She whispered. "I guess I was a little bit afraid that you would leave me because I'm having a foal."
"I would never leave you, Pinkie." The stallion reassured.
"That's good to hear." She smiled. How we're not married or anything..."
"Yeah," He breathed. "Not married..."
And then she kissed him. It seemed to last a lifetime, just them together, now carrying their very own foal.
"I think we should celebrate..." Pinkie smiled. "...With a party."
"Now that's more like it." Cheese chuckled. "Would you like anything?"
"A pickle would be fine." She responded.
"Kay, I'll be right back." Cheese chuckled.
Pinkie laid down, deep in thought. With everything that had happened that day, there was a lot to think about.
First of all, she was pregnant. Having a foal. Her very own foal. From here, there were so many choices. When the foal was born, she wouldn't be able to live in the upstairs of a sweets shop. She would have to move into an actual house, with Cheese. It struck her as weird, to live with somepony who wasn't a family member; not married. Her and Cheese were not married, which was a whole other subject. Did she even want to get married yet?
Her mind rambled on as Cheese came back upstairs with her pickle.
"Here ya go," He said.
"Thanks." She said mindlessly.
He then laid down beside Pinkie and stared at the ceiling.
It was odd to Pinkie. Cheese wasn't frantic about her pregnancy. He was pretty chill about it.
"Pinkie, are you alright?" He frowned.
"I don't know..." She muttered. "I'm not sure about all of this..."
"Pinkie, I know this is hard, but it's going to be okay in the end." Cheese whispered, wrapping his long forearms around his marefriend.
"But, you're no the one who has to give birth to a foal." Pinkie said.
He paused. "No, but I'm with you every step of the way." He placed his hooves on Pinkie's shoulders, their eyes meeting. "I promise ."
Pinkie stared into Cheese's soft, sincere green eyes. He have her a promising smile. Her sky blue eyes, tear soaked, sparked with hope.
"I so lucky to have you!" Pinkie cried as she tackle-hugged Cheese.
"And I'm lucky to have you..." He whispered.
Cheese returned the hug and sighed. He watched Pinkie fall asleep.
She really deserved it, the whole day on her shoulders, plus the groundbreaking news.
"I love you, Pinkie Pie." He whispered.
~~~~~~~~~~
Mrs. Cake walked up the stairs of Sugarcube Corner and into Pinkie's room.
Pinkie was curled up on Cheese's belly, and he was looking up at the ceiling. He noticed the presence of another pony and looked down.
Cup Cake opened her mouth to question him about Pinkie's what seemed to be slightly larger belly.
She closed her mouth and smiled. She turned around and walked back down the stairs.
You've got to stop doing that. She thought to herself.
There's Always An Afterwards
"Are you sure this is such a good idea?" Cheese asked as the pair approached Twilight's giant castle.
"Sure it is!" Pinkie responded as she bounced along beside him. "Twi's always supportive! No wonder they made her a princess!"
"If you say so," Cheese said.
Cheese followed Pinkie as she opened the heavy double doors to the crystal tree-like castle.
"Knowing Twi, she probably has her muzzle stuck in some old book!" Pinkie giggled. "So she's probably in the library!"
"Do you know where that is?" Cheese asked.
"Of course! It's where I find her most often when she's in this giant place!" She laughed. "I'm starting to wonder what the rest of the castle is for!"
"What is the rest of this castle for?" He asked.
"There's a library and a throne room, but that's all it'll seen in here." Pinkie replied.
The couple went silent as they continued their journey up several flights of crystal stairs. Pinkie looked behind her and noticed Cheese behind her, his eyes to the ground.
"is something wrong, Cheesie?" Pinkie asked as they reached the top.
"I dunno, I guess I'm just being paranoid about Twilight and your other friends not trusting me." He said.
"Don't be so shy," Pinkie said. "And anyways, it'd be super weird if Twi didn't trust you!"
"It's just, not so much about our actual relationship that I'm worried about," He started. "It's its what it came from."
"It'll be alright!" Pinkie gave him a quick kiss on the bridge of his nose. He smiled a little.
"Alright, I'll give this a shot." He said.
"Yay!" Pinkie beamed. Cheese sighed.
"Hey Pinkie, oh, hey Cheese," Twilight said as she came up from behind the couple. "Haven't got a chance to talk to you yet." They both whipped around.
"Whoah!" Pinkie gasped. "What's with sneaking up on us?"
"Sorry, I saw you two on the way to the library, and thought I'd say hi!" She said. "I certainly didn't mean to startle you."
"No it's fine, we weren't startled!" Pinkie said. Twilight's attention turned to Cheese, who had been strangely quiet all along.
Just how much of out conversation did she hear?
"How are you, Cheese?" She asked.
"Oh-! I-I'm fine." He said, snapping out of his trance. Twilight arched an eyebrow at Cheese's strange behaviour. Pinkie noticed this, and came to his rescue.
"Cheesie was probably just daydreaming!" She said.
Twilight giggled at Pinkie's pet name for Cheese. Cheese turned red as Pinkie turned slightly darker from her natural colour.
"Hey, want to come with me to the library?" She asked.
"I wouldn't mind!" Pinkie said.
"Me neither," Cheese added.
"Great!" Twilight beamed as her wings unfurled with a 'poof'.
Pinkie began to hop as she followed Twilight, while the stallion behind them both looked to the floor in hopes that this would be alright.
~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey, you know what I totally forgot to do, and why I came?!" Pinkie said as she threw a book behind her, which was caught by the princess' magic.
Cheese looked up from the book he was reading about parties through generations, and found he had his forearm around Pinkie's neck the whole time. He frowned as his marefriend jumped up from her laying position beside him.
"What would that be?" Twilight's asked as she finished writing something down with a quill on some scroll paper.
Cheese jumped to his hooves when he realized what Pinkie was talking about. For some reason, he felt another blush attacking his cheeks.
"I got a coltfriend!" Pinkie beamed.
"You did?" Twilight asked. "Congratulations!"
"Wanna know who he is?" Pinkie asked.
"Let me guess," Twilight started. "He's right behind you." She smirked.
Pinkie gasped. "HOW DID YOU KNOW?!" She yelled. "Were you spying on us?" She asked as her pupils dilated.
She better not have been spying on us! Cheese thought.
"N-no!" Twilight responded. "Of course not!"
"Than how did you know?" Pinkie asked as she narrowed her eyes.
"I'm no love expert, but it doesn't take a genius to notice the signs." The princess said.
"Signs?" Cheese spoke up.
"Yes. Like, your arm around Pinkie." Twilight said. "Or, the way you two are together and no party is being planned."
"What if we just want to hang out?" Pinkie asked.
"Pinkie, you used to despise Cheese, and didn't have much time to bond afterwards," Twilight said. "I can only imagine what it would be like if you two were just, 'hanging out'."
"You despised me?" Cheese asked.
"That doesn't matter now that I don't despise you," Pinkie said. "Does it?" She asked as she shuffled slightly closer to him.
"I guess you're right." Cheese said as he turned slightly pink.
Twilight smiled at them sympathetically. "And I'm no expert matchmaker, but I would put you two together first."
"Awe, thank you!" Pinkie beamed as she nuzzled Cheese's neck.
"You're welcome." Twilight replied.
"Hey!" Pinkie beamed. "I just had a good idea!"
"What is it?" The alicorn asked.
"What if you could go around and tell the rest of our close friends!?" Pinkie asked.
"Why me?" She asked.
"'Cause I think Cheesie's not too comfortable with doing this twice again," Pinkie responded.
"Alright, I'll do it tomorrow when I'm out getting a few things." Twilight said.
"Thank you so much!" Pinkie beamed. "Bye Twi!" Pinkie shouted as she grabbed Cheese by the neck and pulled him out of the room.
"Bye...?" Twilight said before she shook her head and started to clean the library floor of books that somehow got there.
