After finding him stranded in the deathly blizzards of The Crystal Empire, Rainbow Dash goes on with her life with a fourteen year old human who literally never talks. With no way of getting him to talk, she's given him the nickname, Mouse. Somewhat satisfied by his nickname, Mouse has agreed to go along with it.

(If you haven't noticed, I took the title of the story from one of Depeche Mode's songs. That band makes miracles.)
