A Rainbows Heart A Cupcake Story

Rainbow Dash woke up, the walls around her were sterile white. She had seen this place before and she never liked being here. Rainbow could hear voices in the room she recognized one to be her friend Twilight Sparkle.

"Is she going to be ok Doctor"? Twilight asked sounding a little worried.

"She is going to be fine but she might need the comfort of a family member once she wakes up. And what happened to her is very tragic." A male voice said, which Rainbow assumed was a Doctor's voice.

Rainbow also heard sniffling which was most likely Rainbows filly hood friend Fluttershy. "Oh I just can't believe Pinkie would do something like this one of our friends" Fluttershy sobbed.

"Hold on everypony she's wakin’ up." She recognized the country voice as being her long time friend, Applejack.

Rainbow opened her eyes completely to see all of her friends surrounding her; Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack. Everyone was there but one friend was missing, Pinkie Pie and she knew why she wasn't their. Rainbow shot up out of her hospital bed and immediately felt a strong, stabbing pain shoot up her spine.

"Woah, there sugarcube stay down alright." Applejack said.

Rainbow slowly turned her head to look at her back, her wings were gone. She felt a someone hug her, it wasn't a tight hug, but a soft hug and from the most surprising pony, it was Rarity hugging her.

Once Rarity let go of her, Twilight approached her "Rainbow, we are so so sorry, the Doctor said that they couldn't do anything about your wings and-," Twilight was cut off by Rainbow.

"What about Pinkie? what happened to her?" Rainbow asked, they all looked back at Applejack. She was the one to bring them both to the hospital, so she knew what happened to pinkie.

" Sugar ah'm so sorry ah didn't mean to kick er so hard, but she is in the hospital too, she also has a broken neck but she's alright" Applejack said.

"So Pinkie's ok?" Rainbow asked.

"Rainbow, darling after what she did to you, why do you still care about her?" Rarity asked.

Rainbow looked at Rarity a little angry at her "Because she's my friend Rarity, she's a friend to all of us and you have to except that." Everyone looked surprised at Rainbow's sudden words. They all expected words like that to come out of Twilight’s mouth.

"I g-guess you right darling, Pinkie is our friend. But what Pinkie did was intolerable-", Rarity said but she was cut off by Rainbow's hoof over her mouth.

"RARITY!" Rainbow shouted, all of the girls looked surprised. "Like I said, Pinkie is my Friend and I don't care about what she did to me. If you can’t except that then maybe you shouldn't even be here," Rainbow said.

"Rainbow I didn't mean to offend you, it's just we don't trust her like you do." Rarity explained.

"Well that's fine by me just as long as I know that Pinkie knows that she has at least one pony she can trust." Rainbow said as a Nurse walked in.

"Um I hope im not interrupting anything but Miss Rainbow Dash should be able to go home in two days time, as her wounds are healing faster then we expected." The Nurse said smiling, "Oh and visiting hours are over you girls must leave."

"Ok, can we stay the night in the waiting room?" twilight asked.

"Yes of course." The Nurse smiled. With that the all of the girls left the room and went into the waiting room.

Twilight thought to herself for a moment, "hey Rainbow's birthday is in 6 days, we should all do something for her and her party could be daring do themed. Maybe since I'm a princess now it doesn't mean I can’t use that power, maybe I can get the Wonderbolts to come and perform at Ponyville on her birthday? I know she has been taking a liking to that Soarin stallion, who knows, Rainbow might even get a Coltfriend in the process by meeting the Wonderbolts again.” She smiled to herself and fell asleep.

That night Twilight dreamed all of her friends were at a picnic, ALL of Twilight’s friends, "OOOoo, Twilight what is this pasta its so amazing!" Pinkie said.

"Thank you Pinkie at least some-pony appreciates my cooking." Twilight smiled as she glared at spike. He never really liked Twilight's cooking.

Soon enough Rarity walked over to spike "Oh Spiky wiky, here darling eat this." Rarity held out a fire ruby out to Spike.

They were extremely rare in Ponyville, "Wow Rarity! Fire Ruby's are extremely rare in Ponyville. you know what else is rare?" spike said.

Rarity thought for a moment "diamonds."

"Well in Ponyville they are" spike said " But in Ponyville I think you are the rarest gem of them all." spike said.

Rarity giggled "oh spike you so sweet" Rarity kissed him on the check they had started dating 2 months ago and Rarity realised her love for him.

"Gross, you two, no mushy gushy lovie dovie stuff it gross" Rainbow said.

"Oh is it? Now Rainbow Dash, I thought you had an eye for that Wonderbolt Soarin?" Rarity aid with a sheepish grin.

"WHAT NO! I mean, he's kind of cute, what no..  uh... UHRG Rarity! Celestia dang it." Rainbow said as she blushed.

"Hum.. so you do like him? You know I could set you two up on a date" Rarity said.

"What are we gonna do? He might want to fly since he is a Pegasus Wonderbolt and If you haven't noticed, Rarity, I don't have wings anymore." Rainbow said as she looked at Pinkie pie.

Pinkie blushed slightly, “Oh Dashie, you know I’m sorry for that you know. I apologized and I don't want to see you sad. when you're sad I'm sad and if I'm sad I get angry." Pinkie said as her hair went flat and an insane smile formed.

"Oh no," twilight said, ears going flat and stepping back a couple of feet.

"Who wants to have some fun?!" pinkie said grabbing a knife and running towards Rainbow.

Pinkie jumped on Rainbow, plunging the knife straight into her chest over and over again until rainbow stopped breathing and blood poured down her chest. Then Pinkamina ran over to Rarity and Spike. She did the same thing, stabbing and stabbing. Finally Pinkamina went over to twilight and-

Twilight woke up, it was still dark as Applejack woke up and walked over to Twilight, "Ya ok sugarcube?"

"no apple Jack no I'm not. What if when Pinkie Pie gets out of the hospital and she is still insane and tries to hurt Rainbow again?”

"She won’t sugarcube, just stay calm ok? she will be ok, both of them." Applejack said, and with that they both fell asleep.
