A Rainbows Heart A Cupcake Story

Rainbow dash woke up and looked up at the ceiling. she sighed "im ssssssssoooooooo bored!" rainbow said frowning.

"Well I don't think you'll be bored for too long." Rainbow recognized this voice, she sat up immediately to greet him.

"Hi Soarin, what are you doing here?" Rainbow asked.

"Well Princess Twilight informed us about your... um... condition and I just felt so bad for you, I just had to come and see you!" Soarin answered smiling. Rainbow Dash blushed at this, she tried to talk but nothing came out of her mouth.

"At a lose of words or did you just loose your voice all of a sudden?" soarin said trying to be funny which worked.

He earned a chuckle from Rainbow. "You know i've actually had a crush on you for a very long time Rainbow. I just could never bring myself to ask you out, I would just freeze sometimes because I was so caught up in your beautiful face that I would sometimes forget that I could talk." Soarin smiled bushing very heavily.

"I-I was just wondering if maybe  yo-you wanted to maybe go out with me?" soarin said. Rainbow was a little shocked, she had had a crush on him ever since flight camp.

"Soarin I-I dont know what to say.... I would love to go out with you Soarin" Rainbow said smiling, but Soarin's smile was so big Rainbow could tell she had defiantly made him happy.

"Oh I'm so glad you said yes! What should we do for our date I. think you should choose" soarin said smiling and blushing heavily.

"Oh well how about a picnic no wait........................umm.....................I will think of something later right know I just want to be with you." Rainbow said.

"Oh and the Nurse told me to bring you down to the waiting room for something I guess." soarin said standing up.

"Okay lets go then." Rainbow said. Soarin and Rainbow walked down the hall, they came to two doors and opened them to reveal all of Rainbow's friends except Pinkie.

Rainbow walked over to the nurse and sat down, "Ok Nurse what do I need to do?" Rainbow asked.

"Well lets test walking, walk towards Soarin, then walk to Twilight, then Spike, then back to me ok?" Nurse Redheart said.

Rainbow did as she was told and completed it successfully.  "Ok now do the same thing but try trotting." Once again completed with no error. "Ok good know run doing the same thing." Again Rainbow did as told and succeed.

"All right you should be fine but try not to let anything be put on your back for at lest a week ok." Nurse Redheart said.

"Ok" rainbow nodded.

"Then you are free to go." Nurse Redheart said.

Rainbow smiled as wide as she could, but it then disapered "where am I gonna stay?" Rainbow asked.

"You can stay with me if you want to. I've got a spare bedroom and I live on the ground. I just moved to Ponyville like a month ago." Soarin said, smiling.

"That sounds nice Soarin. Okay I will stay at you place." Rainbow said resting her head on his chest, Soarin rested his chin on her head put his arms around her and hugged her.

"Wow you two got friendly fast." Rarity said.

"Rarity, we talked back in my room, we plan on going on a date tonight. It's just we dont know what we want to do? Any ideas girls?" Rainbow asked.

"Hum....................... I'VE GOT IT!" Rarity shouted, she blushed once she realized her mistake, "Eh hem what im saying is that you two should go to that field down by Fluttershy's cottage. It would be really lovely to have a picnic." Rarity said.

"Well I guess we could do that." rainbow said smiling.

"Sure lets do that." Soarin said.

"Oh I can help you two get the picnic ready for you, so when you get there you wont have to do a thing but watch the sunset together and cuddle." Fluttershy said.

"Oh Fluttershy I couldn't ask you to do that." rainbow said.

"No, no I insist." Fluttershy said.

"Well ok me and Soarin will go my old home so he can help me move some of my stuff out of my house until I find some place I can call home." Rainbow said.

And with that Soarin and Rainbow went to go and get some things from Rainbows old cloud house. Soarin would grab them bring them down, Rainbow would put them in a cart. Once they were done Rainbow grabed a jar and handed it to Soarin she told him to go and get some of the liquid rainbows. Soarin did so and put it in the cart, he strapped himself into the cart and went to Soarin's house.
