Today was a rough day. We were attacked and many of our ponies are now injured. I broke my hoof on barbed wire. Sarge said we would be using equestrian warfare.
Only the 21st brigade would be attacking the enemy from behind, which mean getting up at 0200 in two 46 hours. And if these are my last recorded words I would like this to be sent to Ditzy my wife. No pony knows this because if they knew that she's my wife she could be in grave danger. My last words are that I met a AntiQuestian when I was wounded. Instead of killing me, he patched me up. Thank God for him. His name was David, hell to high water that he was a medic.

In two hours we will launch a full scale attack on the AntiEquestrians. I am sniping from the roof tops to cover Private Neigh Colson, because of his broken hoof. The AntiEquestrians have crashed three jets into our fort at 0700 two nights ago. Many of the nearby villagers were injured and some were even kill. I ran. I dont know why but I just ran. One of my old friends Macintosh was there but when I check the rubble after the second plane crashed I did not see him. Thank God he might still be alive.
It is almost time to attack and I am so hungry I have eaten ten bugs. I have just reached the roof and ready for battle. Just think about it. Ten more day then I get to go home back to my family. It has been 3 years since I last saw them. We have just got our ration pacos and I am now starving. Just getting my ration pack first makes me feel better, after having the flu for a day or so I cant go near the other while eating the cornbeef hash and peanut butter bread, usally what we get. I just trade in my juice for a booze or somthing to keep my from feeling dead on the inside. If some day you have read this, is that the hardest thing about war is losing your friends. My blood has been spilled on the iron of this damned freedom that has been caged up, for to long!
