Helping Luna

     Now that everyone knew Clex was an Alicorn, there was no need to disguise himself. Lucky for Clex, nobody messed with him after he nearly killed Celestia. He still had his work, amazingly enough. Every day when he trudged into Ponyville, people would get out of his way. He felt miserable. He only wished he could just be back home with his friends.

DUSK'S P.O.V

     Dusk woke up to the smell of pancakes. Clex's Luna sure knows how to cook! He thought. I then nudged Lulu awake who just said, "five more minutes?" And rolled over, falling off the bed with a yelp of surprise. I just laughed and helped her up. I then got the door for her saying,

     "After you milady." Luna blushed and proceeded out the door while I stayed back for a minute to think about yesterday.How did Clex get so large and black? He was never that rude to Anypony from when he visited my dimension in the TARDIS (or so he called it) and what was with the, "Luna isn't the only one who has... encountered the shadows." I mean, I knew he is powerful when angry, but not murder powerful!

     I then went to the kitchen and saw the three mares deep in a 'gossip session'. I then walked in, and sat down, waiting for pancakes. As soon as I got my first bite, he started drooling. I thought, These are better than the Chef's! I must know how she learned to make these. There was then a knock at the door like yesterday. I walked up to the door and opened it and saw Celestia from yesterday standing there. "Where is Clex?" She asked. She looked very, VERY, angry. The three mares stopped talking.

     "You're not finding out. He's sick as it is, Celestia." I was NOT in the mood. I was already pissed she actually WANTED to fight one of my friends.

     "How about, tell me now, before I end your useless life!" There was a strangle green glint in her eye that I remembered.

     "Not a chance, CHRYSALIS! How about we take this outside." I said, as she turned back into a changeling.

     "Very well then," she said in that creepy voice of hers. "It shouldn't be too long." She had no time to react as dusk created a whirlwind sucking her in. There was a constant stream of yelling, getting louder then quieter. It was hilarious. I didn't notice, but Chrysalis had charged up an attack and shot me right in the side, sending me flying. I grunted, gift up, and was greeted by another blast to the side. That was all Clex needed to see before he knew what was coming.

CLEX'S P.O.V

    Dusk was going to try to send her spell right back at Chrysalis. I knew it wouldn't work. Instead, the spell would become infected and useless. I put down the groceries, and silently charged at Chrysalis, knowing I was invisible except for my shadow. I then was overwhelmed by hatred and started getting larger and darker, and grew his vampiric fangs.Oh no. Not again! I thought. The last thing hmy real body saw was Chrysalis' attack be absorbed by my body as the nightmares forced me to charge.

THIRD PERSON P.O.V

     "What is your business here, changeling?" Nightstalker growles. "You should not be here. Any resistance is futile, weakling."

     "Be quiet. I am here to put an end to the royal sisters, so equestria and all its love shall be mine!" Chrysalis shouted.

     "Well I'm afraid that will not happen. You will perish to my might!" He said, as he charged and rammed her, slightly cutting her with his horn. That gave Dusk enough a chance as well to charge, knocking her unconscious. Nightstalker then levitated the changeling into a trash can, which he threw into the river, putting a few bricks in it.

     "I see that you have finally learned to control your nightmare form." Dusk told Clex. "Now I don't need to worry about you trying to kill me."

     "Well if you anything purposely to provoke me..." Clex started.

     "Yeah yeah, I get the point." Dusk said. They then walked back to the house where both Lunas and Dusk's Celestia were.

     "Who's up for some princess hunting at the royal castle?" Said Clex.

     "You're not seriously THAT bent on killing your Celestia, are you?" Dusk's Celestia said.

     "Oh no. We're going to find her and announce to the public what happened. Then Luna here," he nodded at his Luna. "Can go back to living at the castle, and you three will be able to go back to your dimension. Everything will be back to normal. Plus, then I can go back to my everyday lifestyle."

     "But Clex, won't you be lonely?" Dusk asked. "Don't you want someone to live with you or anything?"

     "Well personally, I wouldn't mind if someone lived with me, but Luna probably wants to go back to the castle. Then she won't have to work." Clex joked. "So are we gonna go find Celestia or what?" So they all set off with a few flashlights just in case, and told the guards their business, who strangely enough just let them in.

     They all started in the lower levels of the castle, where stuff was usually stored, and the flashlights came in handy. They spent around an hour searching, until Dusk's Luna shouted, "I THINK I FOUND HER!" In the ROYAL CANTERLOT VIOCE! Everyone, including he guards who had decided to aid them in their search, came running. Sure enough, Celestia was in a green sack connected to the ceiling, unconscious. One of the guards cut her down using a spear. She coughed and stood up, surprised at (to her anyways) seeing herself, although younger as well as her sister, and a younger version of her sister.

     "What happened?" Was all she asked, despite her curiosity. "And why are there two Lunas and another me?"

     "Well... it's a loooong story your highness." Clex said a bit sheepishly.

     "Well, I'll be interested to hear it over lunch and a cake." She said, her stomach rumbling at the thought of marble cake with buttercream frosting. She unconsciously started drooling.

     The guards headed back to their posts, and the four princesses and the two stallions made their way to the kitchen. While they ate, Clex explained everything, including him turning into Nightstalker, which Dusk thought he would keep secret. Celestia was glad to hear that Clex took care of her sister. "Thank you for taking care of my dear sister while Chrysalis was in power. For that, I would like to make you the captain of the royal lunar guard!" She said, proceeding with stuffing her mouth with a big forkfull of cake. She let out a "mmm" of enjoyment. Clex tapped Dusk on the shoulder.

     "Looks like you and me aren't all that different. Just be cautious about the whole nightmare thing. You may not have experienced it yet, but you should still be cautious about it." He whispered.

LATER, AT THE PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

     "Without further adieu, princess Celestia." The stallion backed down from the podium.

     "My dear ponies! Unbeknownst to you all, Chrysalis was ruling for a short period of time as me! But thanks to the help of three inter dimensional travelers, and a special pony that controller the nightmares inside him, I have been saved." She then ushered for the four to come to the podium."the three travelers are Sir Dusk Chased of the Lunar Guard, and Princess Luna and Princess Celestia." They all bowed, with cheering from the crowd "and the special pony, who is now Captain of the Lunar Guard in this dimension, the pony who controlls the nightmares inside him, Clex Alletto." Clex steppes forward, in his new armor. It was black, surrounded but a stripe of red, and the helmet was pure black with a red poof sticking out the back and top.

     "Citizens of Canterlot! I am the newly instated captain of the Lunar guards. I have defeated Chrysalis with the help of my friend Sir Dusk Chaser, who knocked her unconscious. I then stuffed her in a garbage can with a few bricks and threw her into a river near my house." This caused everypony to laugh, including Celestia. "Although, this would not have been possible without him. I appreciate that he helped me. I wish no more than for you all to give him great respect, for he is the true hero." Clex then stepped off the podium, concluding the announcement.

     "You know, you didn't have to mention me Clex. You could have taken all the credit." Dusk said.

     "Nonsense! You are my friend and the true hero. You deserve the credit." Clex replied. "Now if you'll excuse me, I must talk to Celestia, because I'll apparently be moving into the castle. I think we both know who requested THAT to happen."

    "Me!" A new voice joined in. It was Luna from Clex's dimension. She had somehow snuck in between the two best friends. "That way, we can spend more time together!" She was very excited.

     "You realize that I now have new duties, right? I be asleep during the day, and awake during the night. I don't know if you're supposed to be nocturnal, but I won't have much time to spend with you. But that means that when you have breakfast, I'll be having dinner, and when you have dinner, I'll be having breakfast. I'll probably be asleep during lunch though. I hope you and your princesses will visit soon!" He added the last part for his friend, as he and his princesses had entered the TARDIS, which they had reached.

     "Oh you count on it!" Dusk said. Then, the three left, leaving Luna, Clex, and Celestia alone.

     "Well I don't know about you two," Clex said to he princesses. "But I'll need to head to bed.  So if you don't mind showing me where-"

     "Follow me!" Luna said. Clex rolled his eyes.She's over a thousand years old, and she can't help but act like a filly! /i] he thought. He followed Luna to his new room, and he went to bed, putting his armor on the table. "See you at 'breakfast' Luna." He said to Luna, who went back to her duties.
