Helping Luna

     It had been 15 years since the defeat of Chrysalis. Everything was all nice and peaceful... except for a single city, where a seemingly monkey-like creature had just stolen a unicorn's magic. Another unicorn, a guard had seen it, and scurried off to send a message to the head of the Lunar Guard. After he had just sent it, the same creature stole his magic as well.

     Clex was leisurely walking about his post, sword by his side. All of a sudden, a scroll popped up into his face. He was momentarily taken aback, and almost reached for his sword, when he realized it was just a scroll. It had almost hit the ground, when he grabbed it with his magic. It read

Dear Captain of the Lunar Guard,

I have reason to beleive a new threat has come to Equestria. The legends must be true about this Tirek person, for he has just stolen a unicorn's magic. I don't have much time left before he finds me here. You must warn the princesses!

     Upon having finished reading it, he quickly trotted to where the night court was taking session. The guards posted were hesitant to let him in, but when they saw the letter, they quickly opened the doors and let him through. "Guards! This trial isn't over-" she was cut off as Clex ran up to her podium. He said,

     "Princess Luna! I'm afraid I have terrible news from Captain Ravenheart." He then allowed her telekinetic grin to bring the scroll closer to her face. There was a white unicorn stallion standing to the side, who looked rather angry.

     "Who do you think you are, barging in on my case!?!" He said angrily.

     Clex calmly replied, "the captain of the Lunar Guard, one of five who helped defeat Queen Chrysalis. Pleasure to meet you your snobbiness. As well as Princess Luna's boyfriend." The entire crowd said things like,

     "Ooooh!" And "You just got burned!" That one seeming to come from somebody's kid, and the there was a smacking noise shortly thereafter. By then, Luna had finished reading the letter, and was looking quite surprised and scared at the same time.

     "Night court is closed for tonight." She calmly said. The white unicorn with blonde hair was about to say something, but Clex just picked him up in his telekinetic grasp, and forced him out the door, much to the amusement of the ground. "So what are we going to do about this?" She asked, now walking with Clex, who had taken his helmet off so her voice didn't sound muffled. As he held his helmet with his wing, he accidentally bumped into derpy again.

     "Sorry!" He said. Luna quickly whispered into Derpy's ear, who then nodded and continued down a different hall. "I'm not going to ask." He said.

     "Oh not to worry. I just told her I wasn't able to play any video games tonight." She gave a light smile as they got to Celestia's private quarters. They then entered, to find a hilarious scene before them. A piece of cake was on a fork, which although she was asleep, Celestia was holding in her hoof. The cake didn't even move an inch. Then Clex had the most brilliant idea ever. He strode over to the cake, took it, cut it in half with his magic, and ate one slice. The other half Luna ate. As soon as they were finished with their snack, Celestia's head shot straight up.

     "Cake?" She asked, in a adorable voice. She saw frosting around Clex's mouth, and said, "why you little-"

     "We needed to get you to wake up, so Clex could relay the news he has received." Luna said. Clex then gave a summary of the message. Celestia then told a nearby posted guard that she needed him to get a message out to princess Cadence to come to Canterlot.

     "If Tirek has returned, we're in for a whole life of trouble." Celestia said, looking off into space, reminiscing of the cake.
