Fire Heart’s POV

I don’t know how he could sleep. Being another part of me I was surprised. Not to mention the general’s screams of pain. I did my best to let him free in the first day, but it didn’t work. The best I could do was deactivating the contraption he was in at the time. When I had, he looked at me, confused, and saw in my eyes kindness and care.

I the very next night, it was simple to free him, and he had something to say, “Thank you, my lord.”

“I am no lord of yours, soldier. Listen, and listen closely, for I shan’t repeat this. Allow a rebellion to be born, find the true ruler of this land, and help her gain the elements. When you find her, give her this,” I said as I had handed him the sixth element, the element of magic. It was of course disguised, so I would remember giving it to him, but I had to wipe my memory of ever having so as not to raise suspicion. The guard eyed it curiously, but did as he was told and quickly left. I knew if I was discovered with the element of magic by a guard I wouldn’t have to worry. Twisted was who I had to worry about.

I quickly went back to where I slept (currently in Luna’s chambers) and erased my memory, but then all I saw was red and one face in all of it… Luna.

Tia’s POV

“So where is the element of honesty?” Discord asked, after we found the element of loyalty. We had to wait a few hours before we could actually go to Cloudsdale, due to those of us that weren’t pegasi, alicorns, or Discord.

“He said Honesty is hidden in a cave near the edge of Ponyville,” said Luna. She had some reason been acting strangely recently, not getting much sleep for example. I was beginning to worry for her.

“A cave? But there aren’t any caves near Ponyville,” said Twilight.

“Knowing Twisted like he is, he either made one, or is meaning one a large distance away,” I said.

“Most likely a distance, or possibly in the Everfree Forest,” said Discord.

I really wanted to pound Discord when he said that. It caused hours to be dented into our schedule to stop Twisted.

Twisted’s POV

When I awoke, it was quiet. The guard that was meant to be in pain was silent, so I figured he died from the pain. I noticed that Fire Heart was asleep, so I took control of the body and walked to the eastern window. Why did the night sky have to be so beautiful? It was because of its ruler I had to live on earth, and I still liked to look at the night sky. It was as beautiful as Luna had once been. It was as enjoyable as my vision of us…

“NO!” I shouted when I saw a rainbow trail, however faint, fly down from Cloudsdale. “They found Loyalty, but they would never dare enter after Honesty, and even if they did-

“My lord,” said one of the soldiers.

“What?” I said, noticing a hint of anger.

“We have had spies report two things sir, the general escaped and they say they received a letter.”

My eyes widened in horror when I had heard that the general had escaped, but then a worse idea crept into my mind.

“The sixth element?! Is it still here?!”

“Yes my lord.”

“Bring it here!”

The guard took off and quickly returned with the sixth and final element, magic. “Good, come, we have no time to waste, find the sender of the letter and inform me who it is. They will pay for this betrayal!”

After the guard bowed and left, I looked to the east. Soon, the sun would rise, soon. But I had plans to stop them, and they shall not find the elements. He would change their locations, and he would turn the game to his favor.

No one double crosses him and lives.
