In the near future after a global crisis causes food resources to fail and species to disappear or die off. Something even more deadly happens. Groups of ponies around the world suddenly become predators against their own kind, feeding and causing political uproar throughout the world. Factions all vying for total control. This marks the distinction between "Hackitt's" and civilized ponies that fences, gated compounds, restriction zones are implemented. And early curfew hours and militarized-style police protection becomes absolutely vital in maintaining a normal life.

With the Elements of Harmony no longer considered the practice in restoring social order; Equestria is on it's knee's as the nation crumbles in economical power and society is on a path into total disarray from it's own kind.
