Preparations

Previous Chapter

Once the three Princesses arrived back at Canterlot Castle, Luna went straight to her Chambers.

"Oh dear...." What will we do to prepare for my said foal?." Luna asked, to no one In particular.

Luna went to her table, which was on the opposite side of the room from where her bed sat, and grabbed some ink, and a few sheets of paper.

"I must keep, my room looking the same, but I also mustn't let the foal be unhappy when it gets here........" Oh dear, what shall I do....?" Luna said, putting her hoof on her head, thinking about some solutions.

Luna was cut off by her stomach growling, so she left the room, and went to the Royal Kitchen for something to eat.

"Oh, hello, Princess Luna, you don't come through here often, what would you like?" Asked a cyan blue pony, who was chopping carrots with her magic.

"I've come here for a little something to eat." Luna said, her stomach growling, louder than last time.

"Well, clearly your  stomach does in fact need food" said the cyan pony again.

"Yes, Velvet Clouds, I do...." Luna said, her completely empty stomach agreeing.

"What would you like me to prepare for you?"

"A fruit salad would be nice..." Luna said, smiling kindly.

"Alright, it shall be done in five minutes."  Hold on."

Five minutes later, Luna saw Velvet walking over, with a nice sized tray of fruit salad.

"Thank you, Velvet." Luna said, smiling warmly to her.

No need to thank me, just enjoy, you need it."

"Luna ate her meal in about ten minutes, before returning the dish to its rightful place to be washed, and returned to her chambers, ready to think about her preparations once again.

"Mmmmm, that was quite tasty." Luna said to herself.

"Now, back to work...."

"Hmm, Luna said, looking to the left corner of the room, which was a fairly large open space.

"I could put the foal's bed here, and have a basket of toys here....?" Luna said, getting caught up in the work.

Two hours later, Luna was finally done her planning, she was set.

"Tia?" Luna asked, running down the halls of the Castle, to where her sister was.

"Oh, hello, yes Luna?" Celestia asked her beloved younger sister.

"I've figured it all out." Luna said, standing firmly in place.

"Well, I would like to see it please, Cadence may come too?"

Yes, of course!" Luna answered, running down the hall, back to her Chamber door.

"Come in?" Luna asked, walking inside.

Celestia noticed the sheet of paper sitting on Luna's table, and curiously walked over to it.

Celestia grasped it with her magic, and look it over carefully, before setting it down again.

"Are these your plans?" Celestia asked, smiling.

"Well, yes..."

They're better than I expected!" Celestia said, her smile remaining on her face.

"Thank you, Tia?"
