Princess Celestia looked out from the entry of her castle with a warm smile. Finally, after nearly a thousand years she had an idea of how she would finally deal with Nightmare Moon and save her sister. The past few years she was rather worried about the incoming day of her sister's prophisized return, but just as she was about to give up hope, a miracle happened. Her smile grew even bigger at the thought of the Sonic Rainboom.

Oh, tracing the source of the mysterious energy that unlocked Twilight's hidden storages of magic was easy, then it was just a matter of tracing where the Rainboom's radiant effect had connected to, which turned out to be five young fillies earning their cutie mark. It seemed like destiny was finally giving her a helping hoof to find the new bearers of the elements of harmony. After making Twilight, clearly the element bearer of Magic, her apprentice, Celestia was so excited that she might have started skipping around just like Twilight did. She kept her almost crumbling composure long enough to make it to the castle where she immediately started sending out her top mages to organize a research team to find all the effects of the Rainboom, but made clear instructions not to be noticed by anypony. If she was going to make any plan work, she needed the Element bearers to meet organically... or at least as naturally as they can after she influenced key factors to make them the perfect ponies to represent true friendship. Celestia shook her head at the thought. No, she can't cheat the Elements of Harmony, as she already tried. No, she must think on this long and hard before she comes up with the perfect plan, so for now she will take steps of which she is certain of, for starters training Twilight Sparkle.

Celestia now thought of the cute eager filly. Twilight showed much promise and enthusiasm, almost like Sunset Shimmer, but... with much less fiery ambition. The sun goddess's smile faded with her plans over the her current student. It was a shame really. Sunset was a really nice student, and was really starting to look up to Celestia as mother figure, but Celestia can't divide her attention anymore. Sunset will have to be taught by one of her esteemed professors, while Celestia tutored twilight one-on-one. She wish she could just teach them both, but running a nation, the solar system, and teaching a filly was already a challenge, but if she had two students, she wouldn't be able to teach either of them properly, with Sunset already being two years ahead of Twilight. It felt unfair to Sunset, but Celestia knew this was bigger than her.

Although she had to give up her recent student, Celestia looked forward to teaching Twilight. With proper training and guidance, and with her enormous mana reserves, Celestia knew that Twilight is destined for bigger things. And here she came, on time for her first lesson strode in Twilight Sparkle and, Celestia assumed to be, her mother. The two ponies approached Celestia and her two guards, at the front of the castle. The first day of what would be a long road, she and Twilight would walk down together.

Twilight and her mother approached Celestia and bowed. Though Celestia didn't care for her subjects to bow before her, she really couldn't stop them from doing it anyways, so she signaled them to rise with haste, yet poise.

"Good morning Twilight"

"Good morning Princess Celestia!" Twilight Beamed at the princess, clearly excited to learn under the ruler of Equestria

Celestia moved her sight over to the mare next to the practically bouncing filly, "And you must be her mother."

"I am. My name is Twilight Velvet, Matriarch of House Star Dust." Impressive. Already Twilight was a part of a noble family, so her families' political power must have doubled. She was intrigued by what this would mean for the House of Nobles, but those where questions she could ask Fancy Pants. But right now...

"I wish to talk more with you about Twilight and your family, but it would seem like if we were to wait another minute it seems like your daughter will explode."

Twilight Velvet smiled, "Why she always was excited to learn more. She did learn to read before she could talk. I look forward to seeing you again, Princess." She looked to the little filly beside her, "Okay Twily, Mommy's going to leave you with the Princess. Make sure you listen and have fun, okay?"

"Yes, mommy."

"Okay, now give mommy a kiss"

Celestia eyes dilated, struggling to keep her calm demeanor as Twilight and her mom's tongues entwined. Her eyes were still wide as saliva trailed between their mouths as the slowly parted. Twilight Velvet then said her final goodbye, before she walked away, leaving three petrified ponies and a bouncing filly.

"Ummm... Princess? What am I going to learn today?"

What have I gotten myself into?
