I'm surrounded by screams. Why are all these houses aflame?! Oh my god, Ponyville's citizens are too! Is this a massacre? Suddenly, before I can react, I am pulled from beneath. I'm falling, through ground? What kind messed up scenario is this! Sudden I drop freely into pitch black darkness, as if it were the night sea. A blue light shines from behind. I turn to look at what might be my worst nightmare, to find... Princess Luna? She begins speaking quickly and desperately: "Listen to me. I've only got a little bit of power left to speak to you through your dreams. You must stop my sister at any cost, or that previous dream will occur. A massacre. Her lust will turn into further hatred and she'll become a being of sadistic malevolence. You mustn't allow this."

"Luna, how am I supposed to win against her? I've got no idea what I should do!"

"The answer is simple. For even a human can wield its power. This world can help you shape it into your sword and shield."

"What is it?! Please tell me!" I feel my body being moved slowly backwards.

Her body fades, and my body is pulled back even faster until-- *Smack* A roll of newspaper hits me awake. "Jeez, and Twilight thinks I sleep too much!" I jump awake out of shock. That voice belongs too... Spike? I turn my head to see the young dragon, as expected, with a look of annoyance. "Something about you seems off, even if you are Twilight's friend. I'm keeping an eye on you!" Stomps away the dragon to the downstairs library. I follow him down the hallway several seconds behind.

The nostalgic mare of lavender hue, stands at the usual reading podium. "Ah, I see you're awake." she says with a hint of anxiety in her voice. Twi's trying to stay optimistic, so I need to try my best for her today. "I was just about to wake you for breakfast. Take a seat!" She levitates a round block of lumber, well polished, next to a table lined with three sandwiches. I sit on the unique stool, and the other two join me only seconds later. As a guest in a foreign world, table etiquette is going to be rather... improvised. I wait on them to eat first, so I don't make an incredibly awkward mistake. Counter-intuitively, they began eating... like wild animals. I pick up my sandwich with a sigh, and bite into it modestly. "Do you not like it?" she says disdainfully, with an unsightly black olive stuck to her mouth.

Holding back a cringed gesture, I answer her. "No, it's delicious in fact. Probably the healthiest food I've eaten oddly enough..." I said, voice trailing off. I'm going to have a harder time adjusting than I imagined.

Twilight, mouth full of crunching celery, replies. "That's good, because I added a tonic to it as well."

I almost choke, then swallow quickly, huffing quickly afterward. "W-what kind of tonic? You should tell people about these things before they start eating!"

"Well, you'll want to feel energetic down there when you... you know." We both blush at the statement, and we probably have get the same foreboding feeling about what's to come. Spike looks at us with a curious look.

"Things certainly are going to get interesting today..." I say, trailing off. I then remember something, and perk up a bit. "When are we leaving to Canter--" *Crash* the front door breaks off its hinges. A white stallion with a navy blue mane falls to the floor, covered in bleeding and burns.

"Oh, Celestia, no! Brother!" Twilight rushes to his side, tears welling suddenly and vigorously. Patches of his coat were singed off, leaving dark red behind. "I've got to heal you right away, Shining Armor, hold on!" She runs off into another room, and is back in several seconds. All I can do is watch this awful sight. She trots back to him, and I notice the glowing light green potion levitating with magic. "Why didn't you go the clinic first, idiot?!" She wells up with more tears. She unexpectedly turns toward me. "I need your help to lift him to his feet, he needs to drink this potion." I briskly walk to the opposite side where Twi is standing, and together we lift him off the floor, Twilight using magical force to aid me. The bottle levitates to his face, and the stallion weakly sips the brew down to half. "We should bring him upstairs to my bed." I nod, and she wipes away tears with her hoof. "Have spike bring you a 'Potion of Pheonix' and bring it upstairs". she asks weakly, then lifts him over her back, supporting his weight with magic.

I turn to spike, who has an equally worried expression as I do, and he looks up at me. "Leave it to me, I'll be back." He opens the door to the same room, and walks into it, closing the door. I notice the a sign in the center that I surprising didn't notice before. Alchemist Lab, keep out. A room for... Potion-making, perhaps? He comes back out, holding a glowing orange liquid. I grab the oblong neck of the corked container, and feel the radiant warmth from the bottle. "You better get a move on, bald monkey." he chuckles lightly.

"I'm not a bald monkey!" I retort as expected, and walk upstairs to the living area. I climb up the ladder to her bed area very carefully,

and the place the bottle on her nightstand. "Will he be alright, Twi?" I say as sincerely as possible.

Sighing heavily with a small morsel of relief, she replies softly. "Yes, it'll take a couple days before he's completely healed, though." I sigh in relief as well. "I wonder... what happened to him?" she asks weakly, as if the question were for herself.

"I hope it wasn't Celestia." I say without much confidence. Twilight knew as well I did that she must've been behind this. She turns to look down her sleeping brother, tears continue to fall down her cheek. Her brother, sleeping facing away from her, turns over. He cringes painfully. And opens his eyes.

"Big brother!" she lightly shouts, pouncing toward him, but refraining after looking again at his burned face. Her face disdains strongly.

"Twiley..." says Shining raspily and quiet. "Listen, you must bring Celestia to her senses... If you don't, a lot more guards are going to suffer like I have. And then... other citizens too..." He shifts a bit, and raises his hoof to brush Twilight's puffy red cheek. I almost cry at this deep, intimate moment opening before me.

"Just... What happened...?" she forcibly says, try not to cry harder.

"I don't want to talk about it, it'll hurt if tell you." he responds looking away.

"I don't care! I'm so worried about you, and this is the first time I see you in months! And when do I see my brother? After he's battered, burned, and... Auu~!" She starts crying even more. I look away, tears are welling in my eyes too. But I can't help but watch the two, and so I look back at them.

Shining gazes into her eyes, with a expression of deep empathy.  He says with a serious, yet soft tone: "I was, forced to... have sex with her. The burns are from her body. Her body, it's... like the surface of the sun."

She stands up, furiously, almost making me jump in surprise. "I love my teacher, she's done so many great things for me... But the one thing I can't tolerate is the fact she hurt my brother in more ways than one! I'm not going to let her do this any longer!" Her horn glows, and she levitates the orange mixture into my hands. All I can mutter in confusion is a "What--?!", and not a second later I'm teleported to the outside of the treehouse.

"Gah!" the potion slips from my hands. It stops midair and floats back up, and I retrieve it, sighing from relief.

"That potion is super important to my plans, don't drop it!" I'm left confused once again and she stamps her hoof lightly. "It's time to head to Canterlot, get on!"

"Ehh?" I mutter in further confusion.

"Get on my back, we're heading to Canterlot!" she says more impatiently. Twilight is... quite intimidating when she's angry. I mount onto the unicorn, realizing she is... too small.

"I think... this won't work. I'm too tall, Twilight."

She sighs the heaviest sigh I've probably seen before, dropping her face a couple inches. She perks up, and looks into my eyes as I get off (somewhat). "I guess it's going to have to be the train station then. C'mon, let's hurry." she says at a remarkably calm volume. She gallops away at a reasonable pace, me following closely behind her.

Time passes as we run, and I'm left panting, standing upon the wooden platform for the Ponyville Express. It's amazing how vivid this world is. The nature, the ponies, and--... Now, that I think of it, there are too many ponies giving me weird looks. Is this how it feels to be a Zebra at a zoo? It's too embarrassing. Twilight finally returns with two tickets for what seemed like an eternity. I whisper to the mare. "This feels way too weird, being a human in a pony's world."

She whispers with the same volume. "Deal with it." With that she chuckles quietly with her teasing statement. I roll my eyes, and smile. I'm glad she's calmer now. A few minutes pass and the train slows to a stop.

"All aboard!" A iconic bearded stallion shouts from the door of the train.

"Shall we end this Twilight?" I say confidently toward the lavender pony.

"Yes, let's go save her." And we board the train with a feeling of passion in our hearts.
