The Golden Kingdom

PROLOGUE

A while ago a dark and evil spirit arose, but this spirit was not one of good tidings. This spirit was called Tenebrarum tubæ or Darkhorn, unlike the villains from the past that Twilight and her friends conquered he was much more powerful, more powerful than Discord or King Sombra and more evil than Queen Chrysalis or Tirek. He is the true embodiment of of vengeance, anger, hatred, death, dark magic, and evil. Nopony knew how he rose not even Celestia herself knew how he became, but she did know this he had great power this was true for when he attacked the town of Manehatten he completley wiped everyone and everything that was their. Causing the awareness of Princess Celestia she sent Twilight and her friends to use the new power they used to defeat Tirek to hopefully defeat or at least weaken him. When Twilight and her friends confronted Darkhorn in the ruins of Manehatten this happened.

"Darkhorn!" shouted Twilight, "Surrender your power while you still have the chance! If you don't you will be defeated!" After hearing this Darkhorn rose up from his custom made throne made from buildings and other large objects. He then said in his dark and demonic voice "Fine I surrender my power in fact I surrender my life."

"What!?" Said Rainbow dash with a shout "That's all we had to do!? No fighting or anything!? she continued.

"Yeah!" Applejack added, "You would at least put up some sort of fight."

Darkhorn then added "I surrender for it is not my time just yet" and with that he said only said "Mors est in corde puro!" then two things happened a green and black orb shot at Twilight and her friends and covered them in a dark green shine and afterwards he burned up and turned into dark ash and dust.

With amazement Twilight said "What just happened?

"Did he die?" Applejack added

"Maybe he's somewhere else" Fluttershy added

"Well wherever he is hes gone now I'm sure" said Rarity with a reassuring tone. Afterwards they left Manehatten and reported what they witnessed in Manehatten and what Darkhorn said before he burned up. What our heroes told Celestia even confused her.

Then Twilight asked "What do you think  Mors est in corde puro mean? It's not any language that I know of."

Then Celestia answered "I don't know but it does trouble me, I will do the best I can to find out what it means, for now carry on with your usual lives but stay alert to any trouble. And if you see any let me know"

Twilight and her friends all answer "okay" and leave to Ponyville
