Twilight's Task

Twilight is reorganizing her books in her new castle library in the section about unicorn history late at night

"Well I suppose i should get some sleep, who knows what wil happen tommorow, after all I only just started moving stuff in here 3 days ago and the castle library is almost completely filled, and I havent even finished with my bedroom!"

"Maybe I should go check on how Spike is doing with his room."

Twilight starts walking down the hall to a room with a big S on it and slowly opens it.

There is a small bookshelf in the corner with a couple comics on it and a bed in the other side of the room with Spike is sleeping on it

"Aww hes been doing so much work hes passed out of exhaustion, I guess that means its time for me to get some sleep too." Twilight says quietly as she sneaks out of the room to her own room.

The next morning Twilight is silently reading a book in her new castles library about increased range teleportation spells, when Spike walks into the room holding a scroll with a big C on it.

"Twilight, I just got a Letter from Princess Celestia saying she wants to meet you in Canterlot ASAP."

"What did she say it was about?"

"It said that she would tell you when you get there."

"OK, well i guess there's no time to waste, lets go!"

Later as Twilight enters the throne room in Canterlot Castle

"Princess, I came as fast as I could, what is it?"

" Sadly I have grave news, Equestria is nearly out of resources such as Coal and wood, and we simply can survive without those crucial resources."

" Oh my,  what are we going to do?"

" I hope this may not be too much to ask, but we recently found a nearby unsettled land that is very plentiful on resources, and as me and Luna are busy governing Equestria we simply cant leave to settle a new land, so I am asking you to settle this new land, if you are up to the task."

"Me, Settle a new Country? I don't know the first thing about settling a nation."

"Well you wont be on your own, the crew that you will be taking will be handpicked by you, so feel free to choose anyone you please, only up to 50 ponies will be able to go with you."

"Mmmmm, OK ill do it!"

" That's the Spirit, the expedition leaves in 2 weeks, so you have all that time to choose who you will take with you"

" OK, Ill make sure to be ready by then, Ill see you in 2 weeks"

" I will be announcing your expedition tomorrow so people may ask if they can be with you, but make sure that they are who you want them to be"

"OK, Wish me Luck

As Twilight walks out of the room Celestia says quietly "Good luck, my Student...."
