Twilight's Task

Story opens in her new room in her new castle as Twilight is sitting at her desk pulling out her quills and parchment.

"Spike, do you know where my ink is?"

"Right over here." as spike walks over carrying a small jar of ink.

"Alright time to start the list of who im going to bring with me to the new land!"

"Well this should only take about 5 hours im gonna go take a nap"

"Alright you have fun with that" as Spike walks off to his new room.

"Alright finally some peace and quiet, alright time to get to work"

After Twilight finishes setting everything up for her list.

"Well I guess the girls and Spike are a no-brainier if im settling a new nation no doubt i wouldn't bring them"

" I suppose they'll want their families so well bring Granny Smith, Big Mac, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and since their coming Scootaloo.

"Princess Celestia said she would be sending a couple others with me, so better count for them."

"A few Ponyvillians already offered to come like, Bon-Bon, Caramel, Lyra."

"Oh well i better check in with the princess before i get any more people in, don't want to bring too many people."

"Well I Guess that's good for now so i guess ill head to Canterlot and check how many people the princess is sending with me."

Cut to later as Twilight arrives at Canterlot throne room

"Sorry to disturb you Princess, but you said you would be sending some ponies with me?"

"Ah yes, well since we don't know much about this land we will be sending 5 guards from the Crystal Empire, since Princess Cadence notified me that they had an excess of guards there."

"And as you may know when the Wonderbolts first started they were part of the Royal Guard, however many ponies don't know is that they are still trained in combat, some are even better then the royal guard themselves!"

"So due to the fact that we have so many Wonderbolts, I have decided to send Squad Number 1 with you, that is made up of ponies you may be familiar with, Spitfire, Fleetfoot, and Soarin."

"Is that everyone?" asks twilight with a questioning look on her face.

"oh and Fancy Pants, who seems to have an interest in investing in the new nation wishes to come with you."

"Alright so thats 8 ponies from you"

"Yes and by the way who are you bringing?"

"Well Spike and the Girls are no-brainers and they decided to bring their families, as well as a few ponyville citizens so we are at about 25 so far, so we have 5 extra slots left"

"Sounds like a good idea to me, but dont rush yourself you still have a week and half to decide the rest of the 5 slots"

"Alright thanks for the head up on whos coming Princess"

"No problem, now you get home and get some rest"

"Alright thank you, I will"
