The Little Rainbow

It all seemed like a normal day to Rainbow Dash. Discord was causing havoc around Ponyville and was currently hiding away in the Everfree Forest. Twilight was waiting at the entrance to the forest with all the elements. All the girls were there and ready,except for Rainbow. It didn't take long for Rainbow to get there, she stumbled a little bit as she landed and smiled as she got her element on her wrist.

She grinned as she pumped her hand up in the air "Let's go show him what we can do!", Twilight rolled her eyes but smiled as she headed into the forest.

"For what like the forth time? When will he lean he can mess with the Elements." Rainbow snickered at that comment as she walked a little bit in front of the group. She turned to Twilight and spoke in a sarcastic tone

"Wow egghead I thought you would give us a huge speech about how serious this all is." She heard Applejack hold back laughter as they all were getting close to where Discord was hiding. Right before they passed over a bridge they all had to walk in the mud. Rarity let out a horrified gasp as she stopped.

"But I just got these shoes!" Rainbow and Applejack died of laughter as Twilight rubbed her temples, not believing the scene before her. Fluttershy gently patted Rarity's back before she gave her a piggyback ride through the mud. Rarity was thankful because as soon as she got set down Pinkie started to bounce through the mud giggling

"It's not that bad Rarity!" Pinkie exclaimed as she was covered in mud and walked beside Rarity. The group walked up to a deserted castle that was pretty much in ruins. Twilight took the lead and spoke as she saw Discord laughing and messing with the wildlife.

"Discord! You were warned after the princess let you be free about not causing anymore chaos, since you have went and done it we have no choice but to use the elements on you once more." Twilight prepared the girls as Discord rolled his eyes.

"Awe c'mon I was just having a little fun, no need to get all fussy." He gave a crooked smile as he stood there. He didn't actually expect them to use the elements but he was wrong as he saw a blast of magic come towards him. He felt himself returning to stone, and in a attempt to stop the girls he shot out a random spell. It was to late as he was now a stone statue once again before she magic hit Rainbow Dash.

"Well that tickled a little bit." Rainbow let out a small laugh as she looked at the statue. "Well we did it now the Princess. An come her garden  decoration." Twilight looked at Rainbow and inspected her.

"Do you feel anything strange Rainbow? It doesn't seem like that spell did anything much to you at all..." Twilight trailed off before she finished inspecting. "I can't see anything wrong so your good to g-." Twilight didn't even get to finish her sentence before Rainbow Dash took off towards home.

"See you guys later!" Rainbow dash shouted before she was out of sight. She arrived home shortly after and smiled to herself as she set her element down on a table. "Well we sure showed him how it was done." she spoke to herself as she got a small snack and relaxed for a bit. She sighed to herself as she saw it was getting late. She went into her room and got changed before she flopped onto her bed. "Hmm... Maybe I can mess with AJ tomorrow .." She let out a small yawn before her eyes closed and she fell into a deep sleep.

Over the course of the night the element of loyalty gave of a small glow before a little spark came from it. The sun soon rose and woke up e sleeping Rainbow. She let out a small groan as she got out of bed. She didn't notice anything different as she got dressed. Her clothes seemed bigger and she got confused. "I didn't think I lost weight so quick..." she ignored it and just kept on a shirt as she headed into the bathroom. She reached for her toothbrush that was in its holder, hanging on the mirror. She realized she couldnt reach it and looked at the mirror with a shocked expression. Her height was just a little over the counter top. "Oh my gosh..."

Rainbow Dash stood there and stared at herself wide eyed before she ran and got a chair. She pushed it into the bathroom and stood on her knees as she placed her hands on her face. "I...I'm a child.." she spoke the herself quietly as she lightly bit her lip. "Great... Just how am I going to deal with this..." she grumbled as she walked to her closet and looked for smaller clothes. She was lucky and found a pair that she could wear. "Well... I may be small but I'm still messing with Applejack." she smiled as she cheered herself up some. "Then I'm going to Twilight."

Rainbow walked outside and found it was raining pretty hard. "Awe c'mon.." she mumbled to herself before she began a slow run towards Applejacks farm. She knew AJ was the only one home for a while since the rest of her family moved to a different city nearby. Rainbow made it to AJ's and found herself out of breath. She caught up on her breath and realized she was soaking wet. "Ugh.." she mumbled and knocked on the door as hard as she could. "AJ open up I kinda need some help!" she shouted before she let out a small  sneeze.

Applejack was on her couch relaxing to the sound of the rain before she heard someone pounding on her door. She listened to the complaints coming from outside and found out it was Rainbow Dash. "Help with what? It's pouring out side." she sighed and stood up and has a small stretch before she went and opened the door. "Alright sugarcube what's the prob-." She stopped talking as she looked down at Rainbow and stifled a laugh. "Is this a prank? How much dit she pay you to dress up like her in the rain and mess with me?" she laughed lightly to herself.

Rainbow looked up at AJ and was kinda surprised. "Applejack it really is me...I'm a child now.." She mumbled and crossed her arms as she stood there. She made herself look tough before a pn other small sneeze escaped her. "Stupid rain.."

Applejack looked at the child before she realized it really was Rainbow Dash. She noticed that she was soaking wet and sighed softly as she gently picked her up, receiving a small startled squeak from her. "Awe well wasn't that cute, don't worry I'm just going to get you warmed up is all. Applejack smiled and closed the door as she carried Rainbow to the bathroom. "Wow...how'd you get mud all over you?"

"I tripped and fell okay..." Rainbow Dash responded quietly as she shifted and watched Applejack run a hot bath. She smiled to herself some as she got off the counter and stuck her hand in the water. She smiled to herself as she sat on the floor. Applejack watched her and noticed that she was acting like a actual child would.

"Alright let's get you cleaned up and dressed before you get a cold." Applejack spoke in a motherly tone as she undressed Rainbow and put her in the tub. "You clean up while I get you something to where, I think I have some of Apple Blooms old pajamas in her closet." she smiled and left the bathroom.

Rainbow sighed as she relaxed into the water. She noticed Applejack leave and began to clean herself. She smiled and finished getting cleaned up and got out of the tub. She dried herself off with a towel and wrapped it around her as she waited for Applejack to return.
