The Little Rainbow

Applejack had soon returned with a small pair of dark red pajamas. She noticed Rainbow had already finished cleaning up and smiled as she placed the clean clothes on the counter. "This is the smallest I could find, I hope the fit you. I'll be in the living rom when your done sugarcube." Rainbow have a small smile as she watched Applejack leave.

"Hmm..." She wondered to herself as she began to get dressed. Rainbow was happy they fit as she buttoned up the top and left the bathroom. She walked down the stairs and looked for Applejack. She wasn't on the couch like she said she would have been and Rainbow got curious. "AJ? Where'd you go? This isn't funny.." She listened to the rain fall outside as she didn't see Applejack. Rainbow sighed as she climbed onto the couch and looked at the television that was off. She smiled asshe picked up the remote and pressed the on button.

Applejack smiled evilly as she saw Rainbow on the couch watching the television. She sneaked up behind her and picked her up. "Got ya!" she laughed at the scream that she had gotten in response to the scare. She sat down on the couch and set Rainbow next to her. "It's alright sugarcube I was just messing with you." she chuckled lightly as she saw the pout on Rainbow's face. She looked at the television and grabbed the remote from Rainbow. "My house, I control the television."

"But Applejack that's no fair!" Rainbow's voice cracked a little bit as she reached for the remote that AJ held above her head. Rainbow whined about it until she had calmed herself down and sat down in Applejacks lap. "I wanted to watch the scary movies they play.." she mumbled as she crossed her arms and looked at the television. She received a small chuckle from Applejack.

"Those movies are not for little kids like you." she gave a small grin as she heard Rainbow give a small gasp and move in her lap.

"I-I'm not a little kid! I just look that way....I don't know why though.." she said quietly as she looked down and sighed softly before she looked back up at AJ. "Can we please watch the movies?" she begged and tried to look adorable as she asked the question. Applejack looked down at Rainbow and thought she just looked like the most adorable thing she had ever seen. Applejack lightly squished Rainbow's cheeks before she put the scary movies on. She got up and turned all the lights off as she went to get a blanket.

Rainbow lied on her stomach as she looked at the television. She saw Applejack leave the room and leaned over the arm of the couch to see where she had gone. AJ returned shortly after she had left with a large blanket. She saw Rainbow leaning over the couch and smiled as she sat down. "I just went to get a blanket." Rainbow dash smiled as she got under the blanket beside AJ.

"I can see that." Rainbow said as she watched the movie getting ready to play. She loved to watch horror movies when ever they were on. Applejack on the other hand thought horror movies were just stupid, they were never scary and had terrible effects in them. As someone died in the movie Rainbow smiled and kept her eyes on the television. The two had watched horror movies all day, Rainbow let out a small yawn and lied her head on Applejacks lap.

Applejack smiled down at Rainbow and noticed she was falling asleep. She shook her head with a small laugh and picked up Rainbow. "Where we goin.." she mumbled softly as she rested her head on Applejacks shoulder.

"You seem a little tired so you can stay over at my house tonight, plus I don't want you going out in the rain again." Applejack spoke softly as she walked into her little sisters old room. She smiled as she gently lied Rainbow down and tucked her in. "Night rainbow.." Applejack placed a small kiss on Rainbow's forehead before she walked to her room and got ready for bed.

Rainbow had a nightmare and woke up and looked around. She remembered she was in AJ's house and relaxed. "I'm a child...." she remembered as she got out of the bed. She let out a small yawn as she walked towards Applejacks room. AJ was sitting in front of her mirror as she was brushing her hair before she went to bed. She noticed a tired Rainbow walk into her room and slowly crawl into her bed.

"Alright then.." she laughed lightly and turned off the light before she went over and got in her bed. Rainbow moved closer to Applejack and snuggled up into her chest. Applejack smiled as she wrapped a arm around Rainbow and held her close. As soon as she heard the soft snores coming from her AJ closed her eyes and fell asleep too.

Nothing had happened that night as Rainbow just drooled on Applejacks arm and shirt. As soon as the sun had gone up Applejack was awake. She sat up and held back a laugh as she wiped the drool off herself and gently wiped Rainbow's chin not to wake her. Applejack got up and headed to the kitchen where she started to cook some bacon and eggs.

Rainbow had woke up to the smell of bacon throughout the house. She got out of bed and rubbed her eyes as she headed down to the kitchen where AJ was. When she entered the kitchen she smiled as she walked up to AJ and gave her a hug. "Woah sugarcube you scared me a little bit." Applejack gently ruffled Rainbow's hair and picked her up. "I made some breakfast, you hungry?" Rainbow nodded her head as she looked at the food.

"Yes!" Rainbow smiled as she got set down at the table. Applejack had out some eggs and bacon on a plate along with a small up of Apple juice. Rainbow smiled as she ate the food rather quickly. She carried the cup and plate and tried to reach up and out them in the sink. "Can't reach..." she complained and pulled on Applejacks shirt.

Applejack laughed lightly as she took the dishes and placed them in the sink. "Don't worry Dash you'll be back in no time" she gently hugged Rainbow and lifted her up. "We should take you to see Twilight so she can fix you up." She received a nod as Rainbow wrapped her arms around Appljacks neck and rested her head on her shoulder.

"Okay, can I have some icecream?" Rainbow smiled as AJ lightly laughed at the question.

"After we see Twilight, then I'll take you to get some icecream." Applejack slipped on her boots and walked out the front door and began walking towards town.
