The Little Rainbow

The night went by almost uneventful, the only thing that really happened was Rainbow moved closer to Twilight in her sleep and mumbled a little bit. Then sun began to rise and Twilight opened her eyes and yawned. She sat up and noticed that Rainbow was cuddled against her and still sleeping. She smiled and carefully got up and carried Rainbow to their kitchen.

"You got to get up for breakfast Rainbow.. You cant sleep all day." Twilight set Rainbow down on one of these kitchen counters and smiled as she noticed Rainbow open her eyes and looked around.

"You said I could sleep iiiin Twilight."  Rainbow complained a little bit as she held out her arms to be held as she closed her eyes.

'Does she want me to hold her?' Twilight smiled softly and picked up Rainbow and let her rest her head on her shoulder. "I know I did but its not healthy to sleep all day."

A knock was heard at the door and Twilight lighted a eyebrow as she noticed it was in a little pattern. 'Oh my god its Pinkie...' Twilight thought is she was quiet and tried not to make to much noise maybe she would go away. Rainbow realized it was Pinkie and smiled as she could have fun with her party freind.

"Hey Pinkie!" Rainbow smiled as she got out of Twilight's arms and ran to the door. As soon as she got the door opened she was picked up and felt her face being squished. "Ow Pinkie quit it!" Rainbow closed her eyes as she pushed on Pinkie's hands.

"But your just so cute Dashie! I cant help myself, I just want to pinch your little cheeks!" Pinkie exclaimed happily as she walked inside and into the kitchen where Twilight was face palming. 'Just wanted a peaceful morning is all...' Twilight smiled at Pinkie and opened the fridge.

"Morning Pinkie, we were just about to have breakfast. Want to join us?" Twilight looked and saw Pinkie nod her head and continue her assault on Rainbow's poor little cheeks.

"I would love to! I didn't eat any sweets yet today because the store is closed till noon. Can I take Rainbow with me out to lunch Twilight?! Please I'll be responsible!" Pinkie looked at Twilight and smiled as rainbow shook her head a little bit.

'You ruined my peaceful morning so now you can deal with Pinkie.' Twilight grinned a little bit as she started to cook bacon. "That sounds like a wonderful idea Pinkie, I have to go get spike from my brothers house anyways. Also Rainbow while I'm withmy brother I'm going to see the princess to see if she knows about this spell." Rainbow sighed a little bit as she felt Pinkie continue to mess with her. When she heard about the spell she smiled and couldn't wait to be back to normal.

"So I'm going to be with Pinkie for lunch? Then who do I go to? Am I on some sort of scedule?" Rainbow bit down on Pinkie's index finger as she tried and make her smile wider. "Pinkie staaaahhhp it..." Pinkie frowned as her finger was bit, she was about to tickle Rainbow  it the plates of food was set on the table.

"Thanks Twilight!" Both Rainbow and Pinkie said this in unison that made Twilight laugh some. Twilight sat down at the table and they all began to eat. "So why is the shop closed till noon?"

"Oh I didn't tell you?! It's Pumpkins birthday! They wanted to through a party without distubance this year. I had just finished setting upbeforei headed over here. I would have worked faster if I knew you had Dashie over here!" Rainbow satin Pinkie's lap and happily are the bacon that was on her plate. After she realized she ate all of hers she began to take peices of Pinkie's bacon.

'I like bacon.' Rainbow smiled as she finished and leaned her head against Pinkie's arm that was rested on the table. She didn't care to listen in on the conversation they were having as she just closed her eyes and relaxed. Rainbow felt a handle gently run through her hair and opened her eyes. "Juice? Do you have any juice Twilight?"

Twilight laughed a little bit before she got up and left the table. She came back with a small bottle of apple juice and handed t to Pinkie. Pinkie smiled and opened it before she handed it to Rainbow. "Here you go Dashie!" Rainbow smiled as she drank about half before setting it on the table and smiling.

"Well it's about noon Pinkie you might want to make your way to the shop to get cupcakes ready." Tailight smiled as she gathered all the dishes and set the in the sink. 'I hope she acts like a adult with Rainbow...' Twilight didn't let herself worry as she noticed Pinkie and Rainbow gone.

Pinkie and Rainbow laughed as they were covered in flour and icing. The two were sitting in the kitchen making cupcakes. Rainbow smiled as she ate some of the icing along with Pinkie. No matter how big of the mess they made none of the sweets came closets looking as messy as they did.

"Pinkie, Twilight is going to kill you when she finds out that all you let me eat was sweets." Rainbow let out a giggle before she heard the timer on the stove go off. "Pinkie their done!" Pinkie zoomed in the kitchen with oven mitts on and pulled out the cupcakes, she dumped them onto a counter and got the icing ready.

"Dashie you ate most of the icing! We only have enough for this last batch... I wanted some of the icing to you know.." Pinkie fake pouted as she went on and decorated the cupcakes like dinosaurs to the orders specifications.

"Not my fault, you shouldn't leave a child all alone in a kitchen." Rainbow smiled as she noticed Rarity come in. "I bet you 20 dollars she won't freak out if I hug her this messy."

"Oh your on Dashie." Pinkie smiled as she stood at the door from the kitchen and saw Rarity turn around. "Go Dashie!" she whiz

Ed before she saw Rainbow take off towards Rarity. Rarity turned around in time and saw Rainbow. She noticed she was covered in icing but didn't care as she picked her up.

"Hello dear! I see you are still as cute as ever, but your just so messy." Rarity smiled and she walked to get her order of cupcakes. Rainbow looked at Pinkie's shocked expression as Rainbow got icing all over Rarity's new dress. 'No way..'

"Hey Rarity I have your order right here!" A younger looking lady held out the small box that had four cupcakes inside. Rarity smiled as she took the box, over her shoulder Rainbow grinned as Pinkie gave Rainbow 20 dollars.

"Alright Rainbow I guess your coming home with me, I'm going to get you cleaned up your just to messy right now." Raritly smiled as she left the store and headed to her home. 'My new dress is ruined... But Rainbow was just so cute I couldn't resist hugging her.'

"Alright Rarity that sounds fine with me! What kind of cupcakes did you get?! Pinkie let me eat all kinds of cupcakes!" Rainbow smiled as she wrapped her arms around Rarity's neck and looked around at the people. 'I don't feel so good...'

"Alright dear head to the bathroom and get ready for a bath, you can wear some of Sweetie's pajamas. I'm sure they will fit for the most part." Rarity set down Rainbow and went to get some clothing. Rarity found some light blue pajamas and headed to the bathroom.

Rainbow smiled as she leaned over the tub and lightly splashed her hand in the water that was running. She notice Rarity add bubbles to the bath. Rainbow smiled as the tub finished filling up. "Here are your clean clothes dear, I'm going to change while you take your bath. If you need help just call me and I'll come in." Rarity set the pajamas down on the counter and left the bathroom.

Rainbow got into the tub and smiled as she cleaned herself up. She rested her head on the edge of the tub and called for Rarity. "Something wrong?" Raritly walked in with a new set of clothes on and crouched by the tub.

"Can you wash my hair..?" Rainbow closed her eyes and smiled some as she felt Rarity putting shampoo in her hair. Rarity used a special conditioner to make Rainbow's hair softer and smiled when she finished.

"Alright Darling get dressed, when your done ill be in my room. I was planning on taking a nap and I guess you can join in." Rarity dried off Rainbow and headed her the blue pajamas. Rainbow got dressed quickly and smiled as she went into Rarity's room. She noticed Rarity was geeing into a set of her sleeping clothes so Rainbow got into her bed and sat down waiting for Rarity.
