Overlooking the Dreamscape and scouring for any nightmares that might be plaguing her ponies, Princess Luna noticed a particularly black cloud. She was surprised that it was in the middle of the Everfree forest. Right where she saw an object fall from the sky and crash. Curious, Luna dived into the dream, where she was overwhelmed by the landscape before her. She saw a massive city made up building that reached into the skies and even beyond the clouds. *Who could build such tall structures? Luna thought, before she took flight into the direction of where the dreamer was. Just as she did so, she heard a loud roar that seemed to shake the ground and her, to the very core.*

Looking up at the source, she saw a giant purple flying ship obliterate a smaller, grey one. Her eyes widened as she saw it happen. No sooner that it finished, that much smaller purple ship start coming out of the larger one. She once again flew over to the dreamer, who was much closer to the city than she was. When she was close enough to see the dreamer, she gasped, realizing that the nightmare wasn't coming from a pony, but from something else, something that had a small mane on it's head and had no fur. It also seemed to be wearing some kind of clothes, judging by its size comparing to the other ones in the area, she guessed it was young, maybe around 5. Looking back to the sky she noticed that one of those smaller purple ships flew into the area, and is dropping some even weirder looking bipeds. They all looked different. There was a larger, intimidating one. It seemed to have donned a strange armor that seemed to radiate authority. It was also Purple, with sharp edges and it was glowing blue in some parts, which also to seem to slowly shift. It wielded a strange glowing blade. It seemed to have some shorter bird like creatures with it, and they wielded a sort of strange looking crossbow with pink crystals sticking out of it. Luna noticed that the dreamer was no longer nearby. She looked around and noticed it seemed to have hid, with it's eye wide open. She faced the new creatures that arrived, and was about to speak before they opened fire on the furless creatures, immediately killing a few. The larger one with the sword, ran, and stabbed one of them, generating a hiss, before throwing the lifeless body onto the ground and moving onto it's next target.

Luna looked on in horror, wondering why they were doing this to those who looked like they had done nothing wrong. She walked over to the dreamer, and wrapped her wing around it, trying to comfort the creature. It immediately hugged her in tears. Suddenly, a loud crash was heard nearby. Luna swiveled her head to the startlingly loud noise, and noticed it opening. She noticed several figures step out of what seemed to be a pod, each wearing armor of some kind. The one with the orange visor and green armor seemed to speak to the ones behind it.

"ODST's, clear the area of any covenant, then rescue the civies and call in a pelican! Let's Move!" it shouted, charging and firing a weapon that all of these 'Odst's' also seemed to carry at the large purple biped. Revealing some sort of magical forcefield, which seemed to burst after a few seconds, before continuing to fire and killing it. Luna had stood up to get a closer look at the pod before looking back to the dreamer, noticing, in horror that one of the bird things was aiming at it and immediately started charging a spell, but not before being interrupted by the soldier who gave the other soldiers the order and firing upon the bird, killing it.

"You okay kid?" The soldier in green armor asked the dreamer. It nodded slowly seeming to admire the soldier, and then glancing at Luna, and then hugged the soldier. When the loud weapon noises stopped, the dreamer then looked around, and noticed two bodies in particular. It gasped and ran over to them. Luna walked close enough to hear anything it might say.

"M-Mom? D-D-Dad?" It stuttered, before bursting into tears. Luna decided to look away, and immediately regretted doing so. As the huge purple ship was now looming over the city, a sort of hole near the front of it glowing red. Seconds later, the hole continued glowing brighter and brighter before unleashing a giant red beam, which instantly made the sky turn a hue of red. The temperature instantly rose by several degrees. The ship started roaring, drowning out the dreamer crying. Luna could only watch on in awe and horror, knowing that beam cannot possibly be good. She noticed large flames growing throughout the city, which started collapsing as the beam continued. Seconds later, the city is nothing but molten land and what appears to be glass. The ship started slowly moving forward, moving the beam and destroying the land.

Minutes later, a few large grey metal birds showed up, picking up the soldiers and any civilians in the area. Luna had noticed the metal birds looked similar to the thing that crashed into the Everfree. She decided to leave the dream seeing that it was ending anyway, and try and forget what happened, even though she knew that she would never be able to forget that.

I woke up with sweat on my face, somewhat disturbed by the memory I dreamed about. I noticed something was off in the dream. I stand up from the metal floor, pondering for a few minutes about what was wrong. I smacked myself in the face once I realized that there was a strange blue horse in the dream. Why was it there? Does it signify something?

"That's something for another time." I muttered to myself, not that there was anybody else anywhere near me. I opened the troop bay door, I noticed it was early morning, if I had to assume. I walked out, closing the bay door. I just realized that I need get a good look at the landscape in case there is anything I could do. Despite how unlikely it might be, there could be intelligent life here. I just hope to god it isn't the covenant. Wait, if it was the covenant, they would have seen the crash and inspected it by now. I thought. So deciding it's atleast relatively safe, I decided to look around for a vantage point. Noticing a rather small mountain nearby, which only rose above the trees by maybe a few hundred feet. I walked in the mountains general direction. I also happened to notice that it's quite. As if the wildlife shut up like it would end them. Pulling out my Battle rifle, I walked a little more cautiously, in case theres anything much more dangerous than those Wooden wolves. As I approached the mountain, small creatures, which seemed similar to the ones on earth, run away as they heard me. On the way, I noticed statues of small creatures, to large ones kind of like alligators or something. No way this can be man made or whatever, the statues are TOO accurate. I thought.

I noticed the head of what seemed to be a chicken poking out of a bush facing away from me. Ignoring it, I continued to the mountain, the trip being uneventful other than that area full of statues. Gripping some stone, I started climbing the mountain, with minimal effort. About what seemed to be halfway up, I heard a low growl from behind me.
