I saw a bunny dash right for me with a basket of carrots, and judging by the clerks face the carrots were unpaid for. So, I grabbed the bunny before it could get past me, A yellow pegasus with a long pink mane runs to me, softly exclaiming, "Oh...I'm sorry...!" she cowers a bit, as if I was gonna hit her for so

I smile, "It's quite alright," I hand her the bunny, "He's quite a funny little thing!"

The pegasus smiles softly as she pets the bunny, "Oh I know...sometimes he can be a little...mean..." she glares at the bunny, "Angel! You return those carrots right now....!"

Angel looks mad and annoyed as the pegasus returns the carrots, she returns to me smiling.

"Thank you for getting Angel for me! He's so fast, even for me...!" she tells me.

I ruffle the fur on Angel's head, "No problem! I love animals!" What made me say that was in the very back of my mind, something told me I loved animals.

"Oh! Do you have a pet?"

I look down at my hooves, "Well...no...I'm kinda new here in Ponyville...so...I don't even have a house...I'm probably staying with Derpy..."

the pegasus smiles, "Well, if you ever want a pet, my shelter is open!"

I think for a second before turning to Applebloom, "Do you mind if I check out the shelter for a bit?"

Applebloom looks at me, "Yeah, go ahead! We'll look for Scootaloo and come to you!"

I smile, "Alright!"

Sweetie Belle and Applebloom dash off, and me and the pegasus trot off, I turn to her, "Oh, I didn't quite catch your name...."

"I-I....I'm Fluttershy...."

I can see why she was called that, "That's a lovely name..." I say happily.

Fluttershy blushes a bit, "Th-Thank you...what's your name?"

I frown, "I don't know...I've lost my memories..."

"Oh you poor dear...well, I'm certain you'll get memory back....!"

I smile, "Thanks Fluttershy..."

The two of us reach a small cottage with small animals running around in the yard and trees above them, when we enter the house, there is even more animals roaming the house.

I see so many different animals! Squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, mice, and even a grizzly bear! It made my head spin!

Fluttershy put Angel Bunny down and rushes into the kitchen. She comes out with a huge bag of pet food, salad, and assorted nuts. "It must be feeding time...!" she fills up various food bowls as several hungry animals rush to the food bowls to eat happily. One however, didn't....

There was a tiny spiky brown ball on the couch, it unfurled to be the cutest baby hedgehog I had EVER seen. Something in my mind clicked, I love hedgehogs just as much as I love cats!

The tiny hedgehog let out a tiny yawn as I approached the animal, "Oh my gosh...this is the cutest animal I've ever seen....!" I whisper excitedly, "Who's this little fella...?"

Fluttershy smiles and trots over to the couch, "This hedgehog is a baby, so he doesn't have a name..."

I extend my hoof towards the baby hedgehog ever so carefully, to see the baby crawl to my hoof. He sniffs it, puts his paws on it, and smiles.

"Aww, he really loves you...!" Fluttershy giggles, "I think I found your pet....!"

I smile, "I couldn't agree more!" I frown, "But I don't have any money..."

Fluttershy looks confused, "Money....? Oh, you must mean bits..." she smiles yet again, "And I don't care about bits all that much...all I really care about is animals going to the right home...!"

I feel my ears flatten, "I-I don't know Fluttershy...I don't feel right, not paying and all...."

Futtershy picks the baby hedgehog up and hands him to me, "I insist...! Call it a sign of our friendship..."

The hedgehog looks up at me with round shining baby eyes, as if he was saying to me, "Please take me home! I love you!" And that was enough to make my heart grow warm, "Are you sure?" I ask as I glance at Fluttershy,

Fluttershy nods with a smile, "I can see a bond between you two already...he wants to be with you..."

I smile, "Thank you Fluttershy...! I'll pay you back, I promise! I'll take good care of the little thing!"

Fluttershy gives me a pack with a baby bottle and formula, and a tiny blue bed with a few toys. She also gave me instructions on how to properly care for hedgehogs, which was a good thing. With that, I left with my new pet.

As I'm walking through town aimlessly, the baby hedgehog climbs on top my head. This causes me to smile happily, I'm more happier than I've ever been before!

I stop at a lush green meadow to take a break from walking. I sigh and lay down, this causes the baby hedgehog to roll down my face and onto the soft grass. He lays there, once more a tiny brown spiky ball. I show him my hoof again, he unfurls and sniffs it, and this causes him to smile.

I giggle, "You're so adorable!" I hold the hedgehog in my hooves, "I hope we can be good friends!"

The baby hedgehog nestles into my chest, and curls up into a tiny ball.

I nuzzle him gently, "But...what do I call you...?" I think a moment before deciding, "I know! I'll call you Quinn! Quinn Quill! It will be short for Quincy! You like that?"

The hedgehog yawned as a response, "I'll take that as a yes!" I say, "Nice to meet you, Quinn!"

Suddenly, a turtle with a propeller on it's back flew up to me. Quinn unfurls himself to gaze at the turtle, he is intrigued by it, as am I.

"Why hello there!" I greet the turtle, "That's a cool flying gadget you got there!"

The turtle just floats there, not moving.

"Tank?" A girl voice calls desprately, "Tank!" A cyan pegasus with a blazing rainbow mane and a rainbow lightning cutie mark flies to me and sighs in relief, "Oh thank Celestia! There you are!" the mare picks up the turtle, "Geez, you had me worried!" The mare looks at me, "Oh! I'm sorry if Tank was bothering you," she laughs, "He can be a bit of a knucklehead!" The mare sees Quinn in my arms, "Whatcha got there?"

I show her Quinn, "This is Quinn! My new pet!"

"He's pretty tiny..." the mare says, "But I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover! Plus, he's a spiky dude!"

I grin, "Thanks!"

The mare lands in from of me, "The name's Rainbow Dash! Fastest flyer in all of Equestria!"

I giggle, "Cool!"

""I've never seen you around these parts, what do they call you?"

I frown, "I don't know...I kinda lost my memory..."

Rainbow Dash sits down and frown, "Oh...that really sucks...I'm sorry..."

Suddenly, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle come out of nowhere.

"Oh thank Celestia! It's Rainbow Dash!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed.

Rainbow Dash smiles, "Hey little fillies! What's up?"

Applebloom was panting for a good long minute before replying, "We're looking for Scootaloo! Have ya seen her?"

Rainbow Dash thought a minute before saying, "At the schoolhouse, she stayed after school!"

Sweetie Belle is now confused, "Why?"

"Something about writing a story..."

Applebloom and Sweetie look at each other then back at Rainbow Dash, "Thanks!" the two look at me, "Fallow us!"

I nod, place Quinn on my head, "Nice to meet you Rainbow Dash!" With that, I fallowed them to a small school.
