Scootaloo, the Dreaded Writing Assignment, and enter Twilight!

The school house was very small, but very nice looking. Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and I peek in the window to see an orange pegasus with a purple mane sitting at a small desk in the front of the class. She seems to be having a hard time with the paper on her desk, and she looks really stressed.

The little pegasus then stands up, grabs a pack beside her desk, and leaves the building.

Applebloom and Sweetie Belle greet the stressed pegasus, "Hiya Scootaloo!" Applebloom greets warmly.

Scootaloo sighs, "Hi girls..."

Sweetie Belle points to me and Quinn, who is atop my head, "We may have a new member for the Cutie Mark Crusaders!"

"Well girls...I'm sorry to put a downer on things, but I can't make it to the meeting..." Scootaloo mutters, "I haven't finished my story for class, and Mrs. Cheerilee will be disappointed at me if I fail another assignment!"

Applebloom gasps, "But the essay is due tomorrow!"

Scootaloo grabs her helmet and scooter, "I know...so...I'm gonna have to go to...ugh...the library..."

Sweetie Belle grabbed a spare helmet from the pack, "Then we'll go with you!"

"You girls are the best!" Scootaloo exclaims with a smile, "Come on!" with that, the three fillies took off the scooter.

I take off after them, "Hold on Quinny!" I exclaim.

Quinn seems to enjoy the speed quite a lot as he clings to my mane, I must admit that Scootaloo is pretty darn skilled with that scooter with her, why doesn't she have a cutie mark of a scooter or something like that?

The three fillies stop at a large oak tree with a door and head inside, of which I fallow.

Inside, there are shelves upon shelves of books, and I suddenly feel at home. Like, books were a source of comfort, and escape from stress.

"Twilight? Are you here?" Applebloom asks.

A purple unicorn trots downstairs, a baby dragon beside her. "Yes girls!" she grins, "What do you need?"

Scootaloo explains her predicament, and Twilight nods.

"Well, you can work here...but I don't think I can help you..." Twilight admits, "I read books! I don't really write them..."

Scootaloo groaned, "Really?" she planted her hoof on her forehead, "No way! I'm never gonna get this done!"!

I smile, "Wait a sec...maybe I can help!" Something in my mind told me I could help, that same voice that told me I was good with animals.

Scootaloo looks up at me, "You think you can help?"

"Well...I can try, can't I?"

Scootaloo is hesitant, "Well..." she looks at her paper and than back at me, "W-Well...I guess you can try..." she hands me the paper, and I look it over.

Honestly, the story is sort of....bland....It had a good set up and everything, but some words were misspelled and the characters were bland. But I shouldn't be too critical...Scootaloo is just a filly.

"It's...okay..." I admit, "But I bet I could do better..."

I read it over again, Twilight made a remark, "You're holding the paper really close to your face, I think you may need something..."

I look at her, "Yeah? What?"

Twilight poofs up a pair of glasses with her magic and puts it on me, "Better?"

I read the paper again, it is much better!

"Yeah! Well, anyways, I bet I could do better!" I exclaim.

Scootaloo narrowed her eyes, "Oh yeah?" Prove it!"

I nod, "Maybe I will!"

Twilight stops me, "I don't have any spare paper, do you think you could go to the store next door and get some?" she gives me a bag of bits.

I nod, "I will!"

With a bag of bits in my pack, and Quinn on my back, I went next door to the arts and craft store.
