"Just tell me already!" she complained to me. I really do hate when Rarity complains... She makes everything so dramatic... Not that I don't too.

"You don't need to know, Rare." I told her, before I took a sip of my soup... Wait, wasn't Spike going to make me lunch later? "Nothing special about my past."

"Not your past dear." she said before elegantly eating a fry. Was that even possible? I have to research that later.. "Your past love life." she exclaimed before taking a sip of her water. Elegantly.

"Why mine?" I asked before blushing at the other ponies at their tables. They were all starting to look directly at us.. Oh Celestia.. Why were they looking at me? Did they really think a Princess would just spill out private information in public?

"I know almost every other ponys' story! Except for Rainbow. Whenever I ask her she flies away." she said with a sad look. Is she trying to guilt trip me?

"I'm sure she will tell you when she is ready." I said to her calmly, before taking a sip of water too, but less elegantly as her. Did I finally get the topic off me successfully?

"But that day will never come!" she said with a hint of annoying in her voice. Just a hint. I mostly just heard drama. "Forget Rainbow Dash, though. I will get it out of her very soon. But about, you, darling!" She squealed to me. Darnet, I guess I failed at changing the subject...

"Darling? Are you ok?" she asked me cautiously. I had a flashback... I hope that doesn't happen again. I do not want to think of those memories!

"F-fine! Uhh.. just was thinking." I stammered to her. Quit stammering, Twilight! You know how to! Think of your happy place.. Calm yourself, Twi.

"Rarity, what makes you think I even have a love life?"

"I know you are super studius and such, so you would at least would of already studied dating or did an 'experiment' on it. I feel so bad for the poor stallion who had to go through that, if you did, Twilight." she said as she put her head on one of her hooves and ate another fry.

"I feel bad for all the stallions who dated you." I mumbled before I took a sip of water.

"What did you say, darling?" Oh gosh... I don't think she heard what I said, though.

"Nothing." I replied quickly. Hopefully it wasn't suspicious.. I put another spoonful of my hay and potatoes soup in my mouth.

"Anyways... How's business at your shop?" I asked her fast, hopefully this is a good retreat... I really can't stand much more of this.. Why did I even accept her invite to lunch? I'm starting to wonder if I was right on Spike making lunch..

"Very good, I keep getting orders from Canter-Wait! Don't you dare try to change the subject, young mare!" she replied to me. "Oh, hello, Spikey-Wikey!" She said in a cute voice as Spike came over and sat down next to me.

"Hey, Twilight? I thought you wanted sandwiches for lunch?" he asked me as he picked up a menu.

Perfect, an escape plan! I owe you one, Spike!

"Well, that'sveryniceRarity!Oh,look!Spikeisright!Gottogo!Seeyoulater,Rare!" I quickly said before galloping away. But she was hot on my hooves. I really need more lessons on flying from Rainbow Dash.. I did try to take off with my wings, but she bit my tail, and it hurt, so I had to go back to running... With her still chewing on my tail. Sometimes I wish I spent my life doing athletic stuff, not studying all the time. I would be much fast than this.

"Oh, no you don't!" she yelled as she accelerated, but she lost her grip on my tail. I took this moment to my advantage, and I grabbed Spike with my magic and plopped him on my back before teleporting into the library.

I panted as I set him on the ground, but to my luck, I fell over in exhaustion. I'm too lazy to get up..

"What was that all about?" Spike asked me before walking into the kitchen to make lunch. He acted like it wasn't that big of a deal. How can he do that? He is sometimes such a show-off..

"Rare-hiiiity... Love.. life.." I panted as I slowly got up. You would think it wouldn't take that much out of me.. I should probably go get more exercise. Is Rainbow free on Monday mornings? Or does she have weather patrol? Oh, wait... She'd probably still be asleep 'till noon.

"She wants your advice on love life? Heh.. Well, that's odd. Wait.. is she asking about me?" he said excitedly as he wipped around to face me. He was so cute when he does that. My number one assistant!

"Spike the burner!" I yelled, luckily, he didn't burn my cheese sandwich.. Oh yea, Cheese Sandwich.. I wonder how he is doing.. Weren't Pinkie and him dating a while back? I sat down at the table and made a quick mental note to write to Cheese.

"Sorry, Twi. It might be a little bit more toasted than usual." he said to me as he set the plate and a cup of sweet-apple cider in front of me.

"It's fine, and thank you. Also, no.. Sorry, Spike. She wasn't asking about you.. She wanted to know about my past... My love life, to be exact. Which in no way in Equestria, am I ever, going to give her info on that." I took one bite out of my cheesey-goodness of a sandwich, before realizing how full I was... Shouldn't of had that soup.. Wait.. Did we even pay for that food?

"Oh, ok. Well, I hope it all works out, Twi."

"Umm.. Spike?"

"Yes, Twilight?" he replied to me. He was halfway done with his gem soup.

"I kind-of already had lunch with Rarity... As you know.." I said with a blush. I feel so bad... He does try to impress me with the food he prepares for me sometimes. I know he has trouble with the stove a lot. But still, he is such a sweet little dragon.

"Oh... It's ok, Twilight. Owlicious didn't eat anything yet. He can have it." he said before grabbing my plate and looking around the room for the owl. Wait... Would Owlicious even like that sandwich? I highly doubt that an owl would eat a grilled cheese sandwich.

I nodded my head, without saying anything about an Owl's diet, before climbing up the stairs into my bedroom to think about my situation. What was I going to do about Rarity? I can't just tell her about my love life. It was so complicated, and so embarrassing.

I sat down on my bed, and using my pink aura, floated my favorite Daring Doo book over to me, Book 1. It is limited edition version, and I never told Rainbow Dash about it. I'm afraid of what she might do to it if I ever let her borrow it.. I can never tell her. Just got to hide it on my bookshelf. Blend in with the other books, she'd never know.

I moved my hoof across the shiny cover, an exclusive part to the limited edition. I have to get my mind off of Rarity. She is going to drive me mad with her questions. My love life, past, present, and future, are a secret to my friends. They must never know. They would be so... Confused? Mad? Awkward about it? I can't think about that right now, though. I should be relaxing.

I rolled over onto my back, and levitated the book above me so I could read it in a comfortable position. It shined in the sun rays coming in through the window. I opened the book to the very first page and began my journey into a world of adventure. No more love, no more friends, no more worries, just fantasy and adventure.
