Sameness

I've finally done it! A transmutation spell that can alter the elements to anything! Stone to gold! Wood to diamonds! I've never been so nervous and thrilled for something in my whole life! I only find problem in the how in revealing such a wonderful creation, as any attempts that I've done in revealing my capabilities to the Unicorn University have continuously been shut down or shunned as flukes.

But, I have them now. After years of seclusion I can prove myself as one of the greats in history! Starswirl will have to look at me eye to eye with him now!

Starswirl. The name brings my blood to boil every time I hear news of the latest spell he's developed.

'It's a telekinesis spell!'

All he did was wrap magic around a rock and moved it!

'It's a teleportation spell!"

You call the act of moving from one end of a room to another as an achievement?

Where's the real innovation? Has he made any spells that can solve world hunger? Has he made spells that can bring peace to two warring countries? Has he created a spell that makes all ponies equal, instead of divided by talents?

He hasn't. I have.
