Sameness

The presentation was made to the heads of the University. My heart and body wish to be at standstill, but my mind refuses to let me forget to what I had saw as I went through the gates today.

I saw him. The popular, world-renowned unicorn that refers to himself as Starswirl the Bearded.

We met eyes, and I know he knows me. He'll have to acknowledge me some day, and that day is perhaps to come another time.

The presentation was a rousing success in my opinion.

An enlargement spell that could increase the size of food and resource.

A mind alteration spell that would convince others to the will of the good.

Then, the pride and joy. The transmutation spell that got a noticeable reaction from the panel.

I couldn't hide my joy and confidence. They told me that with the notes that I had given them and the knowledge they've acquired during the presentation, I would receive word to their acknowledgement. They did mention the usual part I have heard before that 'certain spells may not be placed in our records due to their safety risks and because vast amounts of scrolls and papers are sent to them daily to review.

It matters not.

I will wait patiently for their response and await the whispers of my name across the plains.
