Canterlot Castle hospital wing, several days later, 0000 hours, Luna's pov

I sigh heavily as i walk through the hospital wing of the castle, and tonight was a slow night, i had come across one of the doctors. "Hello there good sir, i would like to have you do a...pregnancy test...." I said loud enough for the doctor to hear.

"Yes your majesty, please follow me." He said in a almost robotic voice hesitatingly at first, walking to one of the smaller rooms, which i followed behind a bit skittish. Once we entered the room i sat on the side of the bed that was in the room, as the doctor got a syringe, i flinched a little at the site of the small needled syringe and as he rubbed a cotton ball of alcohol onto the underside of my elbow. "You'll feel a little pressure" I nodded as he pressed the needle into a blood vessel and filled up the syringe with the necessary amount of my blood to do a pregnancy test. He pulled it out putting the needle cap back over the needle. "It'll take an hour and a half for the test results" He said as he walked out of the room, i gave a quick nod as he exited.

0130 hours

The doctor came back with the results and sat down in the rolling chair. "What's the results sir doctor?" I said tentatively.

"...Your pregnant, your highness" He said after a moment of awkward silence. I sighed heavily, once he finished.

"I knew it, i shouldn't have had mated with the admiral" I sad under my breath sighing heavily so the doctor couldn't hear. "Thank you dear doctor, we~i should not waste more of your time" I said standing up along with the doctor opening the door and walks back towards the throne room, rubbing my stomach lightly.

Castle hallways, 0145 hours, Luna's pov

As i was walking the hallway back to the throne room i came across admiral Riker. "Uh,...Mr. Riker, may i speak with you?" I said to get his attention, which i succeeded as he turned around from looking out the window looking at my moon and night sky.

"What is it your highness?" He said almost tiredly.

I smiled. "You don't have to call me 'your highness or majesty' you can just call me Luna. The reason i want to talk to you is...is because i'm pregnant" I said hesitatingly not knowing what his reaction will be. "It's yours" I heard the Admiral sigh heavily.

"I knew it." He said, looking back at me apologetically. "I'm sorry to have to say this. But when you and your sister where unconscious i had both of your blood works done, and we found out that alicorn biology and human biology are very, very similar" He said just as apologetically. "As i said i'm sorry, but we had to be sure." He said sighing heavily turning back to the window.

I walk up behind him placing a wing over his back and shoulder. "I can understand why you did what you did. But i'm not sure about my dearest sister though. And to let you know i'm also sorry for taking advantage of you while in the shower, and i'm also mad that you took mine and my sister's blood for comparison" Chastising him with a moderately powerful slap of my wing.

"Oompf!" Was all he was able to get out then looking back at me as if saying 'i deserved that'. I smile knowingly, playfully.

"And may i ask why you are up at this late of an hour?" I asked being careful where i tread.

"Oh, i can't seem to get any sleep tonight. And this is a beautiful night you created" He said as if praising me, which caused me to blush. "Do you have anything else to do beside your night court?" He added.

"It seems not, the court is very slow, as it was slow every night ever since i came back. Our subjects don't really trust me, since my 'little temper tantrum' a thousand years ago and the story of Nightmare Moon. Why?" I said calmly, almost motherly.

"Can you stay with me tonight, it seems my 'nightmares' are catching up" He said sighing. I just nodded and started walking back to my room with him in tow, the both of us reach my room after a few minutes and i open the door for him to enter. He immediately went into his room and grabbed his pajamas and walked back out quietly closing the door behind him and tip toeing into mine and into the bathroom to change into them. After he changed into his pajamas he placed his uniform on the clothes drawer and he got into my bed and i got in after he did pulling the sheets up for both of us and he immediately went to sleep as i placed my wings around him along with my arms. I entered his dreams to chase off his nightmares.
