The newly promoted Admiral William T. Riker takes command of his new flagship the USS Titan along with the new crew When he is recalled to earth along with the whole crew of the ship for unknown reasons but during the ships return trip from it's assignment, the ship is pulled through an unknown wormhole and is pulled into Equestria's orbit.

This takes place after the events of season 4 but is in an alternate reality where princess Luna comes back from her 1,000 year banishment from the moon, and isn't trusted by the citizens of Equestria.
