Canterlot Castle halls/throne room, 1950 hours, Luna's pov

I was walking the halls of the castle, as I started passing the throne room I heard Tia and Riker talking in almost hushed tones, so I crept up to the door placing my head against the door and Tia talk first. "Riker the reason I'm wanting to marry Luna to you is because I've seen how gently you've treated her and make her laugh, not seeming to care if she's royalty. And she seems more willing to be adventurous, daring, and put her life on the line for her family and friends, and that's another reason I'm also wanting to make her the ambassador to the Federation you all are so quickly to defend" She finished with a heavy sigh.

"She's probably going to be extremely pissed and use that "Royal Canterlot Voice" I've heard and seen her demonstrate over the past couple months." The admiral shot back with as much calmness and politeness in his voice with a heavy trace of anger in his voice. "And I'm not wanting to force her into this marriage, and her becoming the ambassador of her entire race" He quickly added.

The both of them sighed heavily. I was about to leave and confront my sister later but as I was turning my right wing hit the door with a dull thump loud enough for the both of them to hear and I heard Riker pull his phaser out and say. "Who's there?" He said in a loud stern voice, walking to the door and pulling it in towards him revealing me. "Luna! What are you doing here? Have you heard the entire conversation?" He said one sentence after another, trying to get an answer out of me. And I heard my sister gasp as she saw me.

"N-Not the entire thing but enough on what the two of you are planing" I quickly stammered out. "Tia you are planning to marry me off to Riker, and make me the ambassador to Riker's organization." Almost gasping out, with tears welling up, I saw Riker re-holster his weapon and I felt his hands on the back of my head and middle of my back, pulling me into his embrace which I didn't fight and I just cried into his chest.

A few minutes later, 2000-2100 hours, Riker's pov....

After Luna cries into my chest I walked her over to the base the thrones. "You all better, Luna?" I asked her to checking to see if she's okay, she just nods sniffling a little. "What you heard was true Luna. Celestia is planning to marry you off to me, and I'm just as shocked as you are, but I can't refuse your sister's request. And her making you an ambassador to my organization I can agree with, but you'll have to get used to all of our technology surrounding you, and with this job you can learn about from it, and you can use all of the different political and governmental fundamentals to help Equestria and the different countries that you're allied too" I said in a fatherly tone, rubbing my hand against her back, soothingly.

"So when's the wedding" I heard the smaller more lean goddess ask her older sister, in calm voice as possible wanting to know the whole thing.

The alabaster solar goddess sighed heavily. "About a couple months away" She said with concern obvious in her voice, I could tell she was worried and concerned about her several month pregnant sister, with her stomach already protruding out with the foal she's carrying, my foal. "I was wanting to wait until the foal was born to marry the two of you together, but since that isn't a choice with Riker and his ship has to leave, with the repairs nearly finished on his ship, proceeding slower than his engineer had originally calculated. It won't be until the end of next month until his ship is fully operational" She ended with another heavy sigh and slumping into her throne. The three of us remained in silence for an hour, until Luna had told me to get to bed and get some sleep because she saw the bags under my eyes.

I obliged her and began walking to the room where me, Tuvok, and Hawke are staying in. Luna will be skittish on the Titan and the whole crew and her will have to get know one another and get used to their opposite. And the crew will have to get used to Luna walking in and out of my quarters, along with walking around the ship and having her ask all the questions related to the ship and the different know species of the explored quadrants I thought along the way to room where the other two officers are staying. And Luna will have to get used to being prodded with medical equipment and being asked all the different questions about her species As I reached the door and quietly entered and quickly changed into my pajamas.
