Canterlot Castle, Luna's room, 1722 hours, Luna's pov

"The reason i've called both here, is because i want to talk about a p-phase i went through" I said, fearing how the human will react.

"Yeah that's what i'm curious about?" Riker said, confused. Looking between me and Twilight who is sitting opposite of him.

"It's because of Nightmare Moon, Luna?" The smaller, younger alicorn said.

I just nodded not looking at the both of them. "Our subjects, the ponies, played in the day but 'shunned' the night and slept through it, which made me grow bitter, causing me to eventually refusing to lower the moon to make way for the dawn. My bitterness transformed me into a wicked mare of darkness: Nightmare Moon. My elder sister, Tia, reluctantly harnessed the power of the Elements of Harmony and banished me in the moon, for a 1,000 years, and, taking responsibility for both sun and moon, maintaining harmony in Equestria. The day of Nightmare Moon's return is also the thousandth day of the Summer Sun Celebration, so Tia sends Twilight here to oversee the celebration's preparations which are held in Ponyville, and encourages her to 'Stop reading those dusty old books'." Twilight blushes at this portion of the story. "and make some friends. The events that lead up to Twilight and her new friends', the other element bearer's, Twilight and her soon-to-be friends chased Nightmare Moon into the forbidden Everfree Forest. And attempt to defeat Nightmare Moon by finding and using the Elements of Harmony, while Nightmare Moon tries to stop them in various ways." I start crying and i see Riker move his chair over to the side of the bed and tries to comfort me and he does, causing me to continue the story. "Twilight and her friends confront Nightmare Moon and transform her back into me, and i emotionally accepted Celey's offer to rule by her side again." I Lean into his shoulder and chest and starts to sob. I hear Twilight as quietly as possible sending her chair away, walks over to my door, opens it and exits, quickly closing it on her way out.

"Shh, shh. It's alright Luna, just let it all out." He said in which i do, pressing my muzzle and both hands into his chest sobbing.

Canterlot Castle: Throne room, 1730 hours, Celestia's and Twilight's pov

"Are your sure it was a good idea of letting Luna tell Riker about her past?" The older blizzard white, sun goddess asked concernedly.

"The admiral seemed to take it in strides. He even was there to comfort your little sister Tia." Twilight said, with confidence. "With those big....ugh! What am i saying!!!!" The smaller, younger alicorn said with exasperation. The old sun goddess chuckled at this little scene of her old student.
