When we last saw Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, a crazed stallion was charging at the with a pitchfork screaming, "DESTROY THE IMPURE!!"
"I am not impure, thank you!!" shouted Pinkie.
"Ah," said Fluttershy quietly, "I don't think he's really being that rational right now."
"Well he's not getting in the Sugarcube Corner whether he's a customer or not!!"
"I don't think he's here to..."
Pinkie pulled out her party cannon from her mane and blasted him almost in his face. The bright red and green gift box sent him sprawling down the street at least several yards. The pitchfork fell a few yards away from him.
"NO MUFFINS FOR YOU!!" yelled Pinkie.
"I really don't think that's going to..."
The stallion got up and staggered away without bothering to retrieve his pitchfork.
"We better make sure the Cakes are alright!!"
Fluttershy followed Pinkie Pie into the Sugarcube Corner as she led them into the Cake's bedroom. Even as they walked through the place, she could still smell some of the rotten egg smell that was added to the natural gas the place used. Then Pinkie opened the door and she looked in to see the Cakes on their bed, hogtied and struggling weakly. Pinkie had tied their muzzles shut to keep them from chewing the ropes, so neither could understand what they were trying to say, but both of them could guess what they were trying to say if they could speak.
"Oh my," she said quietly.
"What's going on?!" asked Pinkie Pie in one of her panicked moments.
"Perhaps it's the black crystals," she suggested.
"Then why aren't I affected?!"
"I don't know for sure, but I think you must be protected by your connection to the Element of Laughter."
Pinkie paused to think, and said more calmly, "I guess that makes sense."
"We better make sure the foals aren't touching those things," she advised.
They rushed to see the two foals playing together in their crib. The two of them seemed perfectly fine. But then their noses wrinkled as they sniffed the air.
"Uh," said Fluttershy softly, "I think somefoal needs..."
"A diaper change," finished Pinkie, "I agree."
"Maybe it's not safe to stay here," she said as she changed Pound Cake's diaper.
"But this shop is everything," replied Pinkie as she changed Pumpkin Cake's diaper, "We can't just run away and let it get burned down."
"But what about the foals? Can you defend the shop and protect both of them as well as the Cakes themselves?"
"I... don't know..."
"Maybe it would be best if I take them both to Sweet Apple Acres with me. Even with them both, I can still fly high enough to stay away from trouble. I've noticed that I haven't seen that many pegasi in the sky on the way over, so perhaps what ever is affecting them is somehow discouraging them from flying."
"You should use the front and back harness," said Pinkie thoughtfully, "That way you can use both hands and not have them get in the way of your wings."
"That's a good idea."
Pinkie ran off to fetch it as she went to the window and looked out. She could tell that the house two houses down and across the street from the shop was burning, with flames and smoke shooting out of the upper story windows. It seemed that the chaos was getting ever closer.
"Oh my, this is such a disaster." She opened the window and stepped out to the roof while she waited for Pinkie to return, as it would have been awkward climbing through the window with the foals attached.
Pinkie returned to harness her with Pound Cake in to her stomach and Pumpkin Cake riding her lower back and flanks. She added a side pouch with a few changes of diapers, their foal bottles, and a small supply of powdered nursing formula.
"Please keep them safe," she begged.
"I promise," replied Fluttershy as she flapped her wings. Pinkie stood in the window and watched her go. Her flight was a little shaky at first, but soon she was climbing into the sky as she moved down the street.
As Fluttershy flew from sight, a squad of Royal Guards in their shining golden armor ran into view. They went from house to house knocking on the doors and yelling, "ALL PONIES MUST EVACUATE PONYVILLE IMMEDIATELY!! GO TO THE SCHOOL ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF TOWN AND AWAIT FURTHER INSTRUCTION!!"
She went back in to check on the Cakes before she heard a pounding on the door. Rushing to the door after making sure they were still okay, she found herself face to face with an armored stallion from the Guard.
"You must evacuate at once, Miss Pinkie!!"
"I can't!" she replied, "The Cakes were acting all weird, so I had to tie them up to stop them from burning down the shop! I can't leave them behind!"
"Are they the only ones?!"
"A friend has already taken the foals away to safety," she replied.
He turned and pointed at two other guards as he ordered, "You two! Carry the civilians to the Evacuation Point as rejoin us as soon as you can!"
"SIR YES SIR!" shouted the stallions as they followed Pinkie into the shop.
"Just remember," he yelled after her, "there's nothing in this shop worth more than your lives!!"
Pinkie could hear the rest of the guards running on. The guards with her went into the bedroom, and then each carefully took one of the Cakes over their shoulder. They all went to the front door, and then closed it behind them. She locked the door and wondered if she would ever see the shop in one piece again.
Then her attention was caught when she heard a scuffle ahead, and noticed that two guards from the group that had gone ahead of them had jumped a nearly naked mare as she was swinging a torch around wildly. The torch fell aside when she was tackled by them.
"This is nuts," muttered Pinkie under her breath.
...
"This is nuts," said Dan as he looked out over the burning houses and shops of Ponyville. There was getting to be almost too many columns of smoke for him to count.
"Are you sure it's okay?" asked Snails.
"Of course I'm sure," purred Diamond Tiara.
He looked back. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were separated now, but still tied. They were on their back on both sides of the mystery mare, and while Snips and Snails were now naked and sporting wood, only Tails was mating with the mystery mare as of yet. Yet with the legs over one shoulder, only their hesitation had stopped the two unicorn stallions from mating with the two known mares.
"How can they say 'it's okay' if they're under mind control?!" snapped Dan.
"Miss Rarity said..."
"And who said Miss Rarity owns any of these mares?! Isn't slavery illegal any more?!"
"Take me now!" snapped Tiara with a hint of her old demanding self, "Take me like a stallion!"
"Fine, if you think they aren't..." said Dan before he heavily sighed. Snips and Snails were mating with both of them as hard as Tails was with the mystery mare.
He walked over to 'Miss Cheerilee' and let her down by unbinding her wrists. But he was looking at the other stallions even as he was letting her down, so when he found himself embraced by 'Fluttershy', he blinked at her.
"Let me please you," she begged softly, "Even if I'm not really her, I know you're just fantasizing about her like crazy." Her breasts were mashed against him as she hugged him tightly. "Let me take her place. You should let your fantasies be fulfilled by letting me be her proxy."
"It just feels... I don't know."
She rubbed her hand over his crotch when he realized he was sporting some serious wood under his shorts.
"All right," he sighed at last, "but let's move to Spike's room. Intimacy should be more... private."
She nodded as she walked with him from the room.
"You might never love me the way you feel about her," she whispered in his ear, "but you can't keep her on a pedestal forever. She might come back to you once she's made her peace with Big Macintosh. He's married after all, and she would never want to be a homewrecker."
"Yeah, she's really so sweet and caring," he sighed. He averted his eyes from her even though he knew it wasn't really Fluttershy standing naked next to him.
"And you feel you're not good enough for her?"
"Who said that?!" he asked sharply.
"No one had to," she replied, "It's all written in your body language and responses."
"Well... it's true," he said softly (for him).
"No it's not. The funny part is she feels she isn't worthy of someone as sincere and considerate as you."
"Hey, I'm a jerk! I'm not considerate!"
But she laughed musically before she replied, "You're not fooling me. Not one little bit."
They entered Spike's room as she laid on her back on his bed and spread her legs for him. Even though he hadn't done a thing with her, she was already hot and puffy in her marepussy. So he dropped his pants and let his throbbing cock loose. He grabbed her thighs and thrust his cock into her easily as he said, "Thank you so much."
"Because you're worth it," she said as she threw her head back. Her breasts jiggled each time his groin slapped into her flanks. A fact not lost on him.
Suddenly, he heard a record player turn on, and there was a song being played mysteriously: "Can't Smile Without You" by Barry Mustangilo.
'Bloody government,' he thought as he mated with 'Fluttershy'.
