"Shhh, shhh, it'll be ok sugar cube" Apple Jack said as she tried to calm down the little colt.

They all sat around the table in silence while Apple Jack slowly rubbed his mane to comfort him. Slowly his cries died down into little sniffles as he slowly raised his head out of Apple Jack's chest.

"Are you all better now?" Apple Jack asked.

He simply nodded as he began to rub his muzzle and eyes to get the tears off of his face.

"Now let me get this straight, you have no idea who you are?" Apple Jack asked

"That is correct." he said

"Well is there anything you can remember?" Apple Jack asked

He began to think about it before he answered. "I know that I have a father who was kind and very smart. He used to play with me all the time. He very strict with my studies though. He said I was very special and told me to treat everypony with kindness and respect. The thing is though like with me, I can't remember his name either. I can only remember what he looks like and the time we spent together."

"Well I'm pretty sure that he must be mighty worried about you." Apple Jack stated. "Thankfully, I think I know the perfect pony that can help us find him and get your memory back. However we still need to give you a name to call you by so others can meet you properly. I'm sure you already have a good name but untill you get your memory back we have to call you something." An idea struck Apple Jack as she thought what to call him.

"What is your favorite color?" She asked

He sat their thinking about what she just said.

"Don't think, just tell me." She said

"Red, my favorite color is red." He said

"All right looks like we now have a temporary name for ya." Apple Jack said as she smiled at him.

The three girls and the colt just sat there wondering what she was talking about. What name could she have possibly given him, when all she did was ask him what his favorite color was. Apple Jack then started to clear the table, while the CMC and the colt just sat there trying to figure out what name she had given him.

"Maybe it has to do with something red." Said Scootaloo.

"Naw, that's to easy, it's got to be the number of letters in the color." Said Applebloom.

"Girls, girls, it's pretty obvious that it's an acronym." Sweetie Bell chimed in. "We just need to fine out what it means."

While the girls sat there pondering their thoughts, the colt went over to Apple Jack while she was finishing up the dishes. "So is my name Red?" he asked.

She simply replied "Eehyup."

"It can't be that simple, can it?" the CMC all said in unison.

As she finished cleaning the last dish, she turned around to Red and asked him "Why were you so hungry this morning? It's like you haven't eaten in forever. I've never seen anypony eat so much in mah life. You would probably do well at eating contest at the next fair that comes to town."

"I really like my new name." Red said excitedly as he jumped up and down. "The reason for why I was so hungry is I haven't had a home cooked meal before and I was really hungry. I woke up and Twilight wouldn't wake up to cook me breakfast, so I followed the good smell to here. I remember my dad did give me food but he was a terrible cook." Red said in a joking matter.

What he had said caused Apple Jack to pause because she doesn't remember Twilight taking care of a colt until her brain thought of an idea. "Hey Red, when did you arrive in town?" She asked as she waited for his answer nervously.

"I arrived in town last night if I remember correctly but I am not sure how I ended up in Twilight's home." He said with a puzzled look on his face. "I am not sure how I ended up in Twilight's castle, but when I woke up I was in a small crib, I don't know why though, I am not a baby. I am a grown pony or I used to be, not sure how I got stuck in this child's body. At least I remember having a bigger body, I think. When I couldn't find anything to eat at Twilight's castle I decided to leave and look for food elsewhere and that's when I smelled the delicious food coming from this farm, that's when I met these three here." He said pointing over to the CMC still arguing on what Apple Jack meant by Red.

Apple Jack just sat there and listened to see if there were anything false in his words. She couldn't find any, he had been telling her the truth, even though is was very far fetched. She thought the best course of action was to gather everyone and meet back at Twilight's to get an explanation from all of this. She then felt a tug at her hoof and she looked down to see Red at her feat looking scared at the mention of going to Twilight's. " What's the matter Red? Why are you afraid of going back to Twilights?"

"Well, I can of accidently broke her front door to the castle." He said.

"How in tarnation did you pull that off, that door is huge." Apple Jack asked. This got the attention of the three girls as they wanted to hear this as well.

"Well I used my magic to open the door and I lost control for a second due to my stupid stomach growling so loud it made me lose concentration and I kind of threw the door into the front yard." He said while rubbing the back of his neck with his hoof while blushing.

"Wow you must be really strong!" Squeaked Sweetie Bell. "I can barely still lift some books with the levitation spell and yet you were able to tear off a door as big as that."

"Well in any case I think we should all head to Twilight's for now." Said Apple Jack. " I think we should introduce you to everyone else as well Red. So Sweetie Bell I need you to go get your sister and Pinkie Pie and meet us at Twilight's. Scootaloo, you should go find Rainbow Dash and do the same. Apple Bloom you go get Fluttershy and we'll meet you there.

With a quick salute, all three fillies zipped out of the house to do the task Apple Jack have given them. While Apple Jack and Red slowly made there way towards Twilight's castle. As they got closer to their destination, Apple Jack noticed the front door in the front yard where Red had said it was. He wasn't lying when he said he blew it right off the hinges. Red looked a little worried as they got closer to the entrance, until Apple Jack told him "Don't worry, if I know Twilight she will be more worried than upset."

As they entered they heard yelling from further from with in the castle.

"What do you mean you can't find the little colt?" Rarity squawked.

"Yeah how can you lose a baby egg head." Rainbow chimed in.

"I don't know, he was there this morning when I went to bed and when I woke up he was gone and some one broke my front door." Twilight said looking defeated. "I don't know how I can face Princess Celestia after losing him only after one day."

"Don't worry Twilight, I'm sure we'll be able to find him and then I can throw him a welcome to Ponyville party!" Said Pinkie Pie.

"I'm sure Pinkie Pie is right, we'll find him if we work together." Said Fluttershy in a nice quiet tone.

"Awww we wanted to see the baby too." Said Sweetie Bell.

"Yeah, he was so cute." Said Apple Bloom.

"Where could he have gone?" Asked Scootaloo.

At that moment Apple Jack walked in with Red slowly trotting in behind her. " Now every pony just calm down." Apple Jack said.

"How can I be calm at a time like this, I lost a little colt and who knows where he could be." Twilight said with worry in her voice.

"Don't worry I got him right here. Now get out here and introduce yourself." Apple Jack said as she slowly moved out of way revealing Red.

"Umm he.... hello my name is Red, it's very nice to meet you all." Red said nervously looking at the ground.

"Well it's very nice to meet you Red, but right now we have to find a little lost colt." Twilight said.

"But I'm not lost, I'm right here." Red said.

They all stared at him for a moment before realizing that he had the same coat color and mane color as the little baby colt. Slowly but surely one by one they realize what he was talking about. They all went wide eyed and slack jawed as they all came to the realization that Red and the baby colt were one in the same. They all shouted at this realization except for Apple Jack who just covered her ears.

"WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
