What If...

"Twilight! We can make it in time, don't worry!" Princess Cadence exclaimed as the two ponies tried to push a minecart onto the track in front of them.

"I know we can, just a little push will do it!" Twilight replied, pushing the minecart with all her might to get it going. The two mares were about to give up when the cart began to move.

"Quick, get in!" Cadence said, as the minecart began to roll away from the unicorn. Twilight grabbed onto the princesse's hooves as she got pulled up to the safety of the cart.

"Hold on!" Twilight shouted, as the minecart went zooming down the mine. The two mares held on with all their might as the cart went down a giant drop and into a mineshaft.

The cart went up, down, past sharp crystals and under hot springs of lava. All the way to the exit, which was guarded by three ponies dressed like bridesmaids. Their eyes were green and glowing, and were advancing towards the girls as the got out the minecart.

"You're not going anywhere..." The ponies said, getting closer to Twilight and Cadence. But while this was all going on below. The wedding was about to begin..

"Oww! My wing," Princess Cadence said as a rock fell from the cavern cealing.

"Fillies and Gentlecolts.." Princess Celestia announced in the great hall of Canterlot Castle, were all the ponies stood in waiting of the bride for the beginning of the wedding. Celestia looked at her sister before she continued.

"I welcome you all to the royal wedding of Princess Mi Amore Ecedensa and Shining Armour," The Princess continued, as all the ponies stood watching their ruler.

Celestia nodded in the direction of Luna as she continued the introduction.

"Now, without any further ado. Let us celebrate this remarkable wedding as one of the most important events in Equestria!" Luna exclaimed, nodding to her sister who then signalled the guards to open the doors.

"Oh no! It's started, we need to hurry!" Twilight exclaimed, dodging one of the bridesponies as they pounced at her. Cadence nodded at the purple unicorn and they both bounced out the way.

The mares began to run, but got cornered at the edge of a cliff stretching down to the bottom of the fifty-foot mine...

Back up in the castle, the wedding had just begun. The pony band began playing and Princess Cadence began walking down the isle. Shining Armour was still under the spell and couldn't do anything. All there was left to do was for each of them to say the two words:

I do.

Celestia began saying the words that would make a mark in pony history.

"We have gathered here today for this remarkable wedding. Princess Mi Amore Ecedensa, do accept Shining Armour as your lawfully wedded Stallion?"

I do.

"And Shining Armour, do you take Princess Mi Amore Ecedensa as your lawfully wedded mare?"

I do.

"I'm sorry Twilight, we won't get out of this - my wing's broken," Cadence said, filling up with tears.

"It's fine.. As long as we go together," Twilight replied, hugging Cadence tightly.

"Any wedding wishes for the Bride before you go?" One of the Bridesponies asked before Cadence and Twilight fell to their death. Twilight looked at Cadance before they had to go.

"Take care of him... Fake one.." Cadance said, as she fell off the cliff with Twilight...
