Well, here's the rest of the chapter. I will be getting rid of the tiny chapter as just the beginning and adding it to this one, I'm sorry if you don't like that, but I'm still feeling iffy in the hospital. Enjoy my medicine induced chapter!
A Destined Family *Full*
Galaxia stopped altogether and froze in place. He spoke to the progenitors; the beings of old... Nopony in any era has ever even come close to witnessing their form for a mere millisecond, The queen thought to herself.
"What's a pro-geni-tor, mother?" The lunar filly asked.
Coming back from her stupor, Galaxia blinked as she realized she had a question to answer. "The progenitors are the beings that created our universe, Luna. They have untold power and wisdom, each holding a different form of life. T-they... Created everything."
Luna and Celestia were now in the same catatonic state their mother was in just a moment ago.
"B-but that's daddies and your duty!"
"Luna, without the magic these beings left in the soil and air, my mother, Eternias father; they would have never been able to move a single grain of sand with magic..." The queen finished and stared blankly at her son.
Lyric had been nodding along and seemed to almost bite his tongue on parts he disagreed with.
"You're right in the same context I suppose, Galaxia. But they never left any 'magic' in the air or soil."
The queen was taken back, "They didn't?"
"Not in the way you're thinking." He almost giggled from joy; finally, finally he could share his knowledge! Sitting crosslegged, he began. "Ya see, these beings have long outgrown their mortal bodies and have far passed any other. After each passing millenia, they grew with more power and potential, but at the same time, they were taking a tole on their mortal flesh and became unstable. Finally when they reached their evolutionary peak, they gratified life into the beginning of a cycle of constant change. When your parents were born, they saw the potential inside their hearts, granting them ivory horns made from their essence and feathers made of the lightest air." Taking a breath and making sure they were still following along, he continued. "They decided to entrust their energy to your bloodline in hopes they had done what they had set out for, and receded into the earth. Do you understand now, Galaxia?"
Laying with a hoof over her head from constant thought, she caught on. "They've been pulsating raw magic and life throughout the world, to everything and everypony for eons..." She whispered.
"Not just that." He said with a chuckle.
"What do you mean?" She asked slowly.
"Not only are they sending out their energy. They've been giving everything and anything their very life force... They haven't stopped watching, caring, and observing; they've been keeping ponies and all, safe and with peace. They love us like no other would, Galaxia..."
"Child..." Eternia's deep voice interrupted and asked, "Did they give you something?"
All three fillies looked up to their king with wonder, "Give him something?" The asked consecutively.
Lyric chuckled humorously, "You already knew I had this, didn't you?" He said, reaching under his shorts and untying a necklace from his leg. "Keeps it safe and always with me. Can't get anything by you, can I?" He said with a grin as he held it out.
A ball of molten dark-star silver was attached to the twine, holding it around his leg securely. The ball seemed to move on its own, as if the molten core was still turning.
"By the light..." Eternia gasped, " D-do you know w-what you hold, Lyric?"
"An electrified atmospheric compressor, energy wave transmitter and boil point of life." He said proudly. "Basically it controls what does and doesn't happen when it touches, well, anything." He said with a goofy smile.
Gawking madly at this small boy, who held such power in a way he seemed to not seen care, the king couldn't help it; he started chuckling, which of course made Lyric join in.
"Nothing passed you, eh?" He said as he tied the twine around his thigh once again and put his shorts down. "Keeps it safe and gives me the most amazing sites when I meet people... Or I guess it's pony? Oh well."
"Sites?!" The king yelled exasperated. If he were to answer his next question truthfully, the king would faint. "Lyric, my chi-"
"I see the most amazing moments from another's past. I see into the hearts of others and feel what happiness or sadness they have..." Lyric told him as he knew the king would ask.
*THUD* And he fainted...
Eternia's head hit the marble and stone floor with a loud smack of his muzzle. His head was too boggled, too many questions needing answers.
"Eternia? Dear, oh do get up." Galaxia prodded him with a hoof and finally composed herself as she stood.
The king rubbed his jaw where he had planted it on the hallway and spoke, "Lyric." He started, looking to his dearest wife, "You MUST bring us to our family's ruins. The chance to revisit their final resting place and home... It would be the greatest gift we could ever receive."
"Not to mention the chance to communicate with our elders of the earliest time..." Galaxia stated breathlessly.
"Our young boy." King Eternia began, "Will you do us the honor of this travel?" Bowing to show their appreciation to this child of untold potential, they were rewarded with a fit of laughter.
"Ahahahahahahaha!" Rolling on the floor and clutching his sides as tears escaped his laughing face, he said between breaths, "Y-you should s-see yourselves! Hahaha!" Lyric had seen many things; but royalty bowing and asking, almost pleading him to do something he had already planned on doing, was too much.
Cracking an eye open, Eternia frowned slightly, curious. "Why do you laugh over our request?" He asked.
"You're pleading for me to take you somewhere I was about to take you! Haha, you two must have wax in your ears." He told them playfully as he rose.
Calming down and realizing it, the noble queen let a giggle slip out of her mouth, causing her king to give a quizzical look.
"Before I interrupted, I believe lyric was telling his sisters of the falls and if they wished to go, haha." Shaking her head, she placed a caring hoof on his head. "Always a step ahead."
"Haha, only for you two." He grinned which caused Celestia and Luna to giggle at their parents. "Heyheyhe- Oof!" Lyric yelled out as he landed on his back with two adorable princesses hugging him for dear life. Letting out a breath he said, "Whyyyyyyyy..."
"I can't help it when mother keeps saying we're family!" Squeeing and hugging him tighter, she smiled.
"Same here! Plus you said we get to take a trip!" Luna said happily from her position on his neck as they proceeded to pepper his face in little smooches.
"Hahaha! Come on, this isn't fair, stop! Ahahahaha, too much cuteness for the brother!" His laughing pleas did nothing to wade them.
The parents shared a chuckle as Lyric finally sat up; face covered in kiss marks.
Giggling and whispering to themselves, the pony princesses went on either side of him and planted a small kiss on each of his cheeks.
blushing madly and having his eyes spin, he got up and ran down the hall at top speed, screaming, "I GOT KISSED. AHHHH!"
