Pinkie and the Blob

There is a saying among those indigenous to this planet. "No scenario can ever be flawless unless the world ceases being so." I think that phrase works out rather well in describing my situation.

For instance, if I hadn't miscalculated an atmospheric variable, my craft wouldn't have crashed quite so violently. If that hadn't happened, my functions would not have been impaired. If that hadn't been the case, my interactions with the sapient organism designated "Pinkie Pie" would never have come to pass. And if I hadn't, as you put it, "broken just about every regulation we have and then some"—which is quite impossible, by the way—I would never have been able to gather such a vast quantity of data in such a short time. It is because of the mistakes, the missteps, and the flukes that I am in the position I currently occupy, and that position has led to me carrying out my mission with less cost to my superiors than had I complied with protocol and died as I was supposed to.

Thus, I defend my actions. Also, if you still intend to seek reprisal against me, recall just who it is I am in collusion with. Trust me when I say that you do not want Pinkie Pie as an enemy.

Dear Princess Celestia,

...

I really have nothing to say about this one. It was just... weird.

P.S.: I regret nothing.
