Sketchy Chronicles

After Dust Feather's defeat the mechanics who helped him wanted to get revenge on Sketchy and Flaming so they had a plan to lure the team into a trap. They decided to get a bunch of animals and turn them into robots so that the team would eventually find out and go after them.

As planned, the team heard about what was going on and decided to save the animals while also trying to find out who was responsible.

"So here we are. I don't see any of those robotic animals though" said Sketchy as he walked through the field.

"Yeah, and I don't see any of those mechanics either, what's your plan for finding them anyway?" Said Flaming as he followed along with Sketchy and Mystic.

"Well my plan would be to follow the robot animals but again I don't see any."

"Look! Aren't those the robots over there?" Said Mystic as she pointed forward.

Sketchy squinted his eyes as he leaned his head forward trying to see if they were the robots.

...

Suddenly a laser ball started coming towards Sketchy and he slid to the side to avoid it and then said "Yep, that's them alright. Come on! Let's get 'em!"

The team ran towards the group of robots ready to attack!

3 flying robots fired at Mystic but Mystic pulled up a shield real quick, then put it down, and then fired ice spikes at the 3 robots.

Sketchy smashed his hooves into the ground and pulled out a small boulder and threw it at a group of wheeled robots that were coming towards him. The boulder smashed through them like a bowling ball.

Flaming Wind was just frantically shooting fire balls and other fire-like attacks all over the place and while he was hitting the enemies he was also a bit out of control. His fire attacks kept hitting the trees, the grass, and anything else that's flammable.

After the team was done fighting, animals were freed from the robots they defeated but also the field began to slowly catch on fire.

Mystic pulled the animals away from the fire with her magic and then magically fired water at the fire.

"Flaming, you really need to get your new fire abilities under control!" said Sketchy with a bit of a scolding tone.

"What? I hit all the enemies, didn't I?" Flaming replied.

Sketchy snapped back "YEAH! BUT YOU ALSO ALMOST BURNED DOWN THE WHOLE FIELD!"

"I agree with Sketchy. The animals also would have ran into your fire if I hadn't pulled them away. You need to be more considerate of your surroundings when in battle." Mystic added.

"Alright, fine, jeeze. Can we just go now? We're wasting time." Flaming replied in an annoyed tone as he flew off and Mystic and Sketchy followed.

They continued to travel through the field while fighting more robots and were about to enter the next area but then one of the mechanics appeared with a robot that was just about one pony higher than them with a sword on one arm and a gun on the other.

"Ha ha! You fell for my trap! I put all these animals inside robots just so I could lure you here to defeat you with this machine!" said the mechanic.

"What do you want with us? What did we ever do to you?" asked Sketchy.

"You remember that whole artificial sun fiasco? Did you know that me and my friend were the ones who built it for Dust Feather? I want revenge on you and Flaming because me and my friends were one of the greatest mechanics in Pegaphoenix and nopony destroys our machines! NOPONY! Also because of you we had to leave Pegaphoenix so the authorities wouldn't capture us...and now...you'll pay!" explained the mechanic.

"Bring it on! You think we can't take on your stupid machines?" Flaming said as he began to attack.

Flaming shot 2 fire balls at the robot but nothing happened.

"HA! Don't you know that I built this robot during the pegasi and phoenix war? It's fire proof to protect against phoenixes." The mechanic said in confidence.

"Well maybe he can't harm you but we (Sketchy and Mystic) still can." Sketchy said to the mechanic.

"Is that so? Well then TAKE THIS!" the mechanic yelled as he swung his sword arm at Sketchy.

Sketchy ducked and the mechanic swung again so Sketchy then jumped and then as he landed he slammed onto the sword arm and broke it off the robot. The mechanic then fired bullets at Mystic but Mystic stopped them with her magic and fired them back at the robot and then Sketchy stabbed the sword through the robot which destroyed it.

"Well, that's the second machine we destroyed Mr.'nobody destroys our machines'" said Sketchy in a smug tone.

"Oh so you defeated me. So what? Me and my friend still have more machines ready to fight you! Mark my words for I am Apparatus!" said Apparatus (the mechanic) as he made wheeled boots appear on his hooves and drove off.

"Welp. Guess we should go after him." said Sketchy.

"Yeah, and maybe we'll get to fight this friend of his too!" said Flaming Wind.

And so the team headed off to free more animals as they tried to find Apparatus again and his friend.
