Sketchy Chronicles

(At the mechanics' base)

"YOU TOLD THEM OUR PLAN!?" yelled Apparatus's friend in anger.

"Well...yeah...is that bad?" said Apparatus in worry.

"YES! Since you told them our plan now they won't come after us which means we can't ambush them!" said Apparatus's friend in frustration.

"I think you'd need not worry about that, Contrivance. They're still freeing animals and coming after us as we speak." explained Apparatus.

"Is that so?...Well then this may still work...where are they headed now?" asked Contrivance.

"I believe they're headed to the mountains. That's where our radar last detected some of our robotic animals being destroyed." explained Apparatus in slight relief seeing that Contrivance has calmed down a bit.

"Alright. You stay here. I'll meet them at the top with our new machine that I was building while you were gone." explained Contrivance as he headed towards the construction room.

(meanwhile)

"Mountains huh?...Welp, see you at the top!" said Flaming as he began to fly towards the top of the mountain, but just then Mystic grabbed his tail with her magic and said...

"Wait! We're a team which means we have to stick together. You can't just go flying off by yourself."

"UUUGH. Fine. So what are we suppose to do?" replied Flaming.

"You could fly up and take a look around and see if you see anything unusual then come down and tell us and we'll head towards that." explained Sketchy.

"Got it!" said Flaming who then proceeded to fly up above the mountains.

Flaming Wind looked around for a bit but all he mostly saw was clouds and mountain tips and maybe a few trees but then something caught his eye and he flew back down.

"Well I did see something but I'm not quite sure what it was. It's on top of a mountain just down that way." explained Flaming as he pointed in the direction in the thing he saw.

The team begins to head in that direction as they continue to fight more robots and free more animals while Flaming Wind is still trying to get better at his fire abilities and he IS doing a little better actually. They also climbed a few mountains but also had to go through a few mountains cause there was no way to climb them and some of those mountains turned out to be dormant volcanoes. There was some lava inside the dormant volcanoes but it was very still considering the volcano was dormant. Sketchy used his strength though most of them to make stone paths over the lava by making stalagmites fall from the ceiling. Eventually they came across another dormant volcano but it was a little different compared to the others. There were robots and tight rope elevators and all sorts of mechanical stuff inside.

"No doubt about it. The mechanic has to be on top of this mountain...or...volcano...whatever. Let's go." said Sketchy as he looked around inside the dormant volcano.

A red ball with a ring of fire around it starts shooting fire at Flaming Wind but Flaming covers his hooves in fire and punches the fire back at the ball which destroys it. 4 wheeled robots start firing at Sketchy so Sketchy hops on top of one robot, the robot shoots it and destroys it so Sketchy hops onto the robot next to it which the robot shoots and destroys, after that Sketchy hops onto the back of the robot that was firing at him and drives the robot towards the 4th robot and makes them crash into each other. Mystic jumps towards a flying enemy and stabs her horn through it, throws it at another flying enemy and then fires a magic beam at a 3rd flying enemy.

"Check it out! I can do this now!" says Flaming as he shows Mystic and Sketchy that he can cover his hooves in fire without harming himself.

"That's pretty neat." said Sketchy as he proceeded to tell Mystic "and Mystic I didn't know you would do any physical fighting like that. Doesn't seem very like you."

"Well yes, my father did teach me a few ways of how to attack with my horn as if it were a spear or a sword of some sort." explained Mystic as she felt a little flattered at Sketchy's impressed tone in his voice.

They then proceeded to head up through the inside of the volcano by using some of the tight rope elevators they found. At some point they came across a pit of lava with 2 robots at the bottom of it that have a turtle shell-like back, a snake-like neck and raptor-like head.

"Pffft, what are they gonna do down there?" asked Sketchy as he punched the wall intending to make stalagmites fall on them so they can cross but nothing happens.

Sketchy looks in confusion and punches the wall a few more times and still nothing happens. Sketchy then looks up to see that the part of the ceiling that's over the lava pit has been replaced with metal.

"Are your freaking serious?! Now how are we suppose to cross?" Sketchy asked frustratingly.

"I have an idea" said Flaming Wind as he proceeded to make some fire rise from the lava to try and kill the enemies but it didn't work.

"You idiot. They're apparently lava proof since their IN THE FREAKING LAVA! Even if you did destroy them that still wouldn't help us get across." Sketchy said to Flaming Wind.

"Hey I was trying to help and fine, since I'm such an idiot you can find your own way across." said Flaming Wind as he flew across the pit and landed on the other side.

"Oh of course I could've had him just fly us over there one at a time." Sketchy said as he face hoofed and then proceeded to yell to Flaming "Hey Flaming! Could you come back and fly us over there?"

"What's that? I'm too stupid to understand what you said? Did you say to go on without you? OK!" said Flaming Wind as he proceeded to head through the rest of the volcano.

"Great. Now what are we suppose to do?..." Sketchy said as he sat down and thought.

Mystic proceeded to levitate her clothes so she could levitate herself to the other side.

"H-hey! Where you going!?" Sketchy asked.

"I'm levitating my clothes while wearing them so I can carry myself to the other side." Mystic replied as she landed on the other side. "But don't worry, I'll wait her unlike Flaming Wind." she added.

"Well can't you levitate me over there too?" Sketchy asked.

"No. Sorry. I can only levitate objects, that's why I had to levitate my clothes." Mystic explained.

"Now what am I suppose to do?!" Sketchy said frustratingly as he punched the wall "WHAT?" and punched it again "WHAT?" and again "WHAT?!" and again. After the 3rd punch some rocks fall from the ceiling next to the metal ceiling and falls off the edge of the ground that Sketchy was standing on and hits one of the robots which makes the robot fling his head back. Sketchy looks down at the robots, thinks for a second, and then throws another rock at one of them which causes the robot to fling his head again which gave Sketchy an idea. Sketchy jumped down onto the first robot and grabbed onto its head and the robot started flailing its head around and eventually threw Sketchy off towards the next robot and Sketchy grabbed onto that robot's head which of course made that one start flailing its head around and eventually threw Sketchy to the other side of the pit.

"Ugh. Alright, come on. We need to find Flaming" said Sketchy as he got up and proceeded to head through the volcano.

Eventually they make it to the top of the volcano and see that Flaming has been captured by Contrivance's robot which has a drill arm, a gun chest, a big fist, and a claw arm in the back to hold Flaming.

"Hey! Come on! Let me go!" Flaming said as he struggled to try and escape.

"Don't worry, Flaming! We'll help you!" yelled Sketchy.

Flaming looks down and Sketchy and Mystic and says "Sketchy? Mystic? Oh good you're here! Get me out of this dang thing!"

"We're on it! HEY YOU! Let our friend go!" Sketchy yelled to the pony piloting the robot.

"Why should I listen to you? I am Contrivance! One of the greatest-" Contrivance began to say but was then interrupted by Sketchy who said...

"Yeah yeah, we heard all that from the other colt. Just let Flaming go." said Sketchy with a serious look.

"If you want him you'll have to defeat me first!" said Contrivance as he proceeded to attack.

Contrivance opened the robot's chest and began to shoot bullets at Sketchy and Mystic. Mystic did the same thing she did before which is grab the bullets with her magic and fire them back at the robot but unfortunately, Contrivance blocked the bullets with the robot's fist and then punched Mystic nearly off the volcano and knocked her out. Sketchy got mad and ran towards the robot. Contrivance tried to smash Sketchy with the robot's fist but Sketchy dodged it and got on top of the fist so then Contrivance tried to pierce Sketchy with the drill but Sketchy jumped over it and ripped the drill off and then proceeded to drill at the robot's foot which made it fall on its side that the fist arm was on making it unable to move the fist. Contrivance fired bullets at Sketchy but Sketchy deflected them by holding the drill on front of him and spinning it. Sketchy then proceeded to run towards the robot holding the drill in front of him and then ramming the drill right through the robot causing it to be destroyed.

Flaming was freed and Contrivance escaped with a mechanical pegasus winged jet pack.

Sketchy woke Mystic up, explained what happened and what they needed to do so then all 3 of them headed off to find the 2 mechanics' base.
