Chapter I: The Queen's Arrival

She shook her head, dazed. She felt strange... it was as if she had four limbs... and a horn of some sort... These were not normal sensations. She stood up on her legs, feeling uncomfortable.

She blinked a few times, her vision clearing. The area she was in looked odd. It was a grassy hill, with flowers occasionally appearing. The mare flinched when she saw the flowers. ... Where am I? she thought to herself. This does not look like my homeworld...

Then, suddenly, a yellow... was that a pony?... dashed over to her. She had a pink mane, reminding the mare of what she looked like originally. Wait... does this mean I am now a pony as well?!

"Are you okay?" the yellow pony asked quietly.

The mare nodded. "I am fine... but your concern is appreciated. Would you happen to know where I am at the moment?"

The yellow pony looked around. "Um... you're near Ponyville..."

The mare flinched. Impossible! How am I alive? Is this the afterlife? "... Well, I am not native to this world... I do not know how I got here... What is your name?"

"I'm... Fluttershy," the yellow pony said. The mare had to strain to hear the name, because her voice trailed off.

"Very well, Fluttershy. I think it is fair that you know my name as well..." The mare took a deep breath. "... I am Queen Sectonia."
