Setting and Appleloosa Information

The setting for this story is Appleloosa, the setting will not change however other ponies from other places may mention their hometown or other inhabited places in Equestria. If any character does mention another setting or gives a past experience in another setting beside Appleloosa then I shall show clearly they are in a memory or past experience.

Appleloosa is a town which was built in less than a year and is located in a desert setting, it is a western style town with horse-drawn carriages, wild west dances a saloon and a local sheriff or 'mayor' in Rhythms view which is why she refers to the sheriff as 'mayor'. The main production of Appleloosa is apples among other crops, other animals which live nearby are a tribe of buffalo which sometimes eat the apples from the apple orchards causing tension among the tribe and townsfolk.

Appleloosa uses the same currency as the rest of Equestria which is the bit or commonly known as bits. Unlike other places the pricing of several goods is greatly reduced such as locally produced apples and other produce, however more uncommon items such as wood based materials along with metals are more expensive and must be either carted or railed from elsewhere leading to increased prices.

Character Info

Rhythm: Rhythm is a blue unicorn mare who has sandy yellow eyes, her mane is a darker shade of blue compared to her coat. Her cutie mark is a white spider web despite this Rhythm's profession is as a music artist and has released several tracks which she believes are masterpieces however general sales doesn't support this in the slightest. Rhythm normally wears blue dresses the same colour as her coat which are normally decorated with some kind of musical pattern. Rhythm has a bossy and commanding personality and this has led to several problems where she has stayed before, she doesn't like other ponies that take a dislike to her attitude or music talents and normally will say this to anyone who gives their opinion. Rhythm is currently staying at 32 Hoofington which is a small house that is attached to other houses in Hoofington lane which is half a mile away from the main village however to a pony this is no distance at all.

Thorax: Thorax is a brown stallion with green eyes, like Rhythm thorax is also a unicorn which stands out within Appleloosa since most ponies are earth-pony. Thorax has a laid back attitude and doesn't normally get into any trouble also he is one of those ponies who hates confrontation and would like to resolve matters peacefully if possible. On a side note Thorax is shy around other mares and normally says the wrong things when he gets the courage to talk to them. Thorax lives in number 20 Hoofington and his house is rather messy which would put off most visitors, he is normally found at the Golden Apple Cafe.

Sandy Acre: Sandy Acre is a yellow coated mare with a darker golden coat, she is currently the Mayor of Appleloosa and is the eldest sister of Goldenrod. Sandy Acre lives in number 1 Hoofington which is also the mayor’s office. Sandy Acre has been the mayor of Appleloosa for the past 7 years and is considered one of the best mayors that any-pony can remember, the main reason for this is the lack of trouble caused by the Tribe of buffalo that lives nearby, because of this along with other successful polices Sandy Acre has the respect of most ponies living in Appleloosa. Sandy Acre is a earth-pony along with most other ponies that were born in Appleloosa.

Goldenrod: Goldenrod is the local decorator and surveyor for Appleloosa, she is the mare to go to with any planning problems or decorating issues. Goldenrod lives in 31 Hoofington and is also the younger sister of Sandy Acre. Goldenrod has a golden coat along with bright gold eyes, she is known as 'Golden' by most of her friends and several family members such as her eldest sister. Goldenrod is an earth-pony along with most other ponies that were born in Appleloosa.

Haystack: Haystack is another mare of the town who's relied on for local produce and other essential supplies, without her then Appleloosa would soon start to suffer. Haystack is an orange coloured mare with a yellow mane, she had sapphire coloured eyes and talks with an Appleloosa accent being born and bred in the town as the saying goes. Haystack is an earth-pony along with most other ponies that were born in Appleloosa.
