Well, slightly he was all three.
Kuro smirked as he stretched out, looking around the forest he and his team lived in. He disliked other humans, them and their horrid cities and cruel Pokémon treatment.
His team felt the same way, which is why they slept around him instead of in pokeballs, and all joined him willingly. His starter, massive as he was, slept hardest. Lazy bastard. He loved his team, he really did. They were all family.
They were all those annoying little siblings you loved, but hated at the same time. From Moxie, the only shiny he had ever seen or caught. He was named moxie because of two things. his ability, moxie obviously, but the other was his love for battled, as shown through the massive shiny Krookodile's love of beating the hell out of anyone who got too close to their home.
Next came Hiruko. Hiruko was an odd case. the Third form ghost/steel type had been abandoned as a Honedge, left at the edge of Petalburg by a trainer who had obviously lost to Norman, the gym leader, as Hiruko was dented and barely staying afloat in his sheath. He had taken Hiruko in and trained the sword, easily getting it to final level with his incredible luck with finding evolutionary stones.
Moxie swore he had pickup as an ability, and that that was the only possible explanation.
Next came Taka. The little bird had gotten separated from his flock during migration season, and had come crashing down in Kanto, more specifically Viridian forest. Kuro and his team had been camping there that night, and had rescued the poor little Murkrow, now the team's Fly user and trick master, with his love of the TM move Thunder Wave that Kuro has taught him. The now tank of a Honchkrow, he was a beast of special defense, even having lasted through one of Yuki's icy winds.
Yuki was the sniper of the group. She stayed away from large scale battles, preferring to snipe them from afar. She was a beauty of a Pokémon, not that Kuro ever thought of his Froslass like that. He loved them as family, not as anything else.
He knew of pokephilia, and while he didn't practice himself, he knew that most were hunted down for it. He didn't care. He even got a few people in his forest now and then to hide from the law. They never came into his forest, Moxie made sure of that along with Axe.
Axe was a Haxorus. Lean, mean, and ready to do close range damage. He was proud, but not noble in the least. If it meant winning, that Haxorus would throw a Skitty into Wailord infested waters.
Kuro sighed as he stretched, seemingly not noticing the massive shadow as it rose up behind him, menacing look on its face as it reared back, before releasing a roar right behind him.
"Good morning Asuma." Kuro said, grinning slightly as his starter and trusted brother, Asuma the Charizard, grumbled under his breath.
Asuma had been the runt of the litter back at the lab, and because of that fact had never been chosen. Not until Kuro came that is, and found him reading Professor Oak's books, muttering the words under his breath as he had tried to lean human speech. He wanted people to choose him that much.
Kuro had seen him, and then saw his potential. He had taken the tiny Charmander under his wing. He taught the tiny lizard how to speak human, slowly but surely, as Asuma quickly grew with proper feeding and battling, soon becoming a good sized Charmeleon, and later a Charizard that rivaled even the size of Red's. Asuma was his most trusted partner, and it showed as they listened to each other unconditionally. If one yelled and order, the other responded immediately.
"You could have at least ACTED surprised, brother." Asuma said, Kuro smirking at the pout in his voice.
"And given you an unneeded ego boost?" Kuro shot back, grinning as Asuma grumbled again. "Wake the others, I'm going to go make food." he muttered, before stopping as he heard the sound of someone looking through the forest. "Damn it." he muttered, stretching out. "Make that wake them for battle, Asuma." he said, the Charizard nodding as he stomped on the ground, the vibration immediately waking up Moxie as the others shifted in their sleep, slowly coming around.
The shiny crocodile frowned, before standing easily before looking at the others. "Alright morons, WAKE UP!" Moxie said, startling the others awake as they all stood, or floated in Hiruko and Yuki's case, to an upright position.
"What now, drill sergeant stupid?" Taka muttered, yawning widely as he fluffed his feathers. "I was having a lovely dream of my own gang of female Murkrows, tending to my every need."
"The next words out of your mouth had better be as non-perverted as possible, bird. I'm too tired for this shit today." Yuki grumbled.
"Everyone shut up and get ready." Asuma snapped, as they snapped to attention as the most laid back of their group growled the order.
As they prepared themselves, a teen came out, a dark smirk on the trainer's face.
The team all groaned. "Not again." Axe muttered, popping his back.
Asuma was more vocal. "Tim! How many times do we have to beat you until you get the message!" he growled, wings slightly spread.
Tim had been on their case ever since he had 'stolen' Hiruko. Tim was his old trainer and, after hearing how much stronger he had gotten, came to retrieve him.
His response? A very short haircut from the fuming Aegislash.
He had been on their tails since then, always trying to battle them but always failing. And frankly, they had grown tired of it.
"Leave, Tim." Kuro muttered, making Asuma flinch. He knew that tone.
Kuro had lost his patience with the kid.
"What if I don't want t-" Tim was cut off by Kuro grabbing his collar.
"Leave. Now."
Tim took off like his ass was on fire, as Kuro smirked. "And now we have no more bothers!" he said, grinning before his entire team staggered.
"Whoa. Anyone else feel that or did I get drunk again last night?" Moxie asked.
"Both are possibilities, but we all felt that." Taka said, alighting to a nearby branch.
"But what was I-" axe started, before as one they all fell over, as a godly presence put them under.
If only arceus knew what he was releasing into this new world that day.
