The group of sixteen ponies approached the borders of the Blood Empire with caution.
"I'll go get Princess Blood Flame." Tranquil said as she teleported off, reappearing with Blood Flame in about four seconds.
"Who are half of you?" Blood Flame asked, Twilight noticed, for the first time, that Blood Flame had slitted eyes.
"Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Apple Jack, and Rainbow Dash. The elements of Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Honesty, and Loyalty respectfully. Silver Night, Princess of the Forbidden and wielder of the forbidden magics. Midnight Defiance, Blazing Moon, Shadow Death, Blade Hex, Defiant Shadow, and Night Blood. Elements of Magic, Kindness/Cruelty, Laughter/Fear, Generosity/Malevolence, Honesty/Deceit, and Loyalty/Betrayal respectively, they're from another dimension. Shifting Wave, My counterpart from their dimension. Solar Sun, sompony they brought along from their dimension. We need your help, and possibly the help of some of your guards, to track down and eliminate a vampony by the name of Death Vine who's originally from this dimension and was banished to their dimension before being turned there and returning here to obliterate both dimensions." Tranquil said.
"Oh... I can't spare my guard, but I'll go, let me just get my armor." with that, Blood Flame teleported off and soon returned wearing a set of blood-red armor, her helmet was like Twilight's, and she was wearing wing armor. "Shall we go get the others?"
"Wait, what about weapons?" Twilight asked.
Blood Flame smiled and breathed out slightly, causing small flames to escape her mouth.
"Dracorns, yes that's the name I've chosen for when I take over, have a natural fire breath for defense or offense, it's also like a different form of our magic as all of us are able to perform fire magic."
An hour later, the group had landed in front of Princess Red Fang's castle and were waiting for her to get there.
"This feels really strange." Twilight complained, she was currently in the form of a bat-pony after learning some changeling magic from Silver Night.
"You'll get use to it Twilight." Silver said, she was also disguised, as was Tranquil.
The door finely opened and Red Fang came out. "Yes Princess Twilight Sparkle?" Red Fang asked.
"I'm not going through introductions of everypony here, but we need either your help or the help of your Bat Guard as there is a threat to the entire dimension and another that we need to take care of." Twilight said.
"I am not going out into a battle where I could get blood all over my armor, you'll have to get some of the guards, the barracks are over there." Red Fang motioned with a wing towards a large building in the distance and left.
"She's more worried about her appearance than she is about her home, that's just dreadful." Rarity said.
The group went over to the barracks to recruit some guards.
"We need to hurry this up." Apple Jack said, faintly listening to the clacking of the metallic claws she was wearing, she had swapped out her ax for them as they were more adept for hoof-to-hoof combat and used her natural strength as an Earth Pony.
The group walked into the barracks and Twilight went up to the captain, dropping her disguise as she did so.
"Captain." Twilight said in a commanding voice, the Captain instantly snapped to attention and saluted.
"Yes princess?" the Captain asked.
"I need some of your best guards, we're going up against a pony intent on ending our dimension and another and we need as many fighters as possible to ensure we can take them down." Twilight stated.
"Yes ma'am your majesty, right away." the Captain said before turning around to his soldiers. "Blade Wing, Night Light, Silver Fire." the Captain said.
"Yes sir Captain Midnight." the ponies in question said.
"You three are to accompany Princess Twilight and her charge to defeat a threat of the highest level, get your armor on and head out." the Captain said.
"Yes sir!" the three ponies quickly headed out and got to work.

About ten minutes later, the two stallions and one mare that had been chosen stepped out in their midnight blue armor. "We're here to assist princess." Blade Wing said as he bowed.
"No need for formality with me or my friends, just introduce me to your soldiers and we'll head off to our next destination." Twilight said.
"The other stallion is Night Light, the mare is Silver Fire."
"Nice to meet you two, now let's go, we need to get to the Everfree Hive ASAP." the group left after that
Twilight and the others soon made it to the Everfree Hive and were met with Shadow Mind in full blue armor (the same color as her saddle carapace) and about thirty changelings in armor.
"Shall we go?" Shadow Mind asked.
"How'ed you know?" Twilight asked.
"You really think I wouldn't have at least some infiltrators in most major empires or cities? one of them informed me." Shadow Mind said.
"Right, I forgot to mention that none of your infiltrators need be in disguise while in my kingdom. Any in my kingdom are under my full protection."
"I will inform them later on, but some may wish to stay in disguise."
"Fine with me, now we need to head to one last destination."
"And where would that be?"
"The Crystal Empire, Discord lives there and so we can have him help us out in finding Death Vine."
"Then let's head their, I'll tell one of my infiltrators there to inform Princess Cadence of your visit."

The Crystal Empire
Razor Wind ran into the throne room as fast as he could.
"What is it Captain?" Cadence asked as Razor Wind stopped.
"I have important news from the Princess." Razor said.
"Which one?" Shinning armor asked.
"Actually it's from Princess Shadow Mind of the Everfree Changeling Hive."
"What's a Changeling informing us about?" Cadene asked.
"The Everfree Hive is Chrysalis' hive so you know, but she is merely informing me that her, Princess Twilight, Princess Silver, Princess Blood, Princess Tranquil, and Princess Midnight (she's from another dimension according to the princess) are on there way to request your assistance with a matter of grave importance." Razor said.
"And why did she contact you?" Shinning asked.
"Because I'm a drone and always have been so it was faster." as Razor finished, Twilight and her small army ran through the door.
"I trust you were able to inform them aunt Cadence." Shadow Mind said.
"Of course Princess, but I think they want to rip my head off."
"It wouldn't surprise me after what mom tried."
"Stand down insects!" Shinning suddenly yelled as he fired off a powerful combat spell, only to have Twilight shield everypony with a black magic shield.
"Prince Shinning Armor, or entire dimension and another are in danger of colliding and being destroyed and you're here trying to fight our allies, what kind of prince are you?" Twilight said, the use of his official title shocked Shinning.
"She is correct, we just need assistance." Shadow Mind said.
"Likely story." Shinning said.
"Uncle Shinny, we should let them talk at least." a forest-green alicorn filly said as she popped out from behind the throne. the filly had a forest-green coat, pink mane and tail that spiraled down and then curved, slitted red eyes with dark red pupils, and she was a blank flank.
"Uncle?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah! Shinny's my uncle because dad died and he was Aunt Cadence's brother." the filly said.
"You adopted Sombra's daughter?" twilight asked, looking to Cadence.
"Tia and luna didn't want her and Chrysy was nowhere to be found so I had no choice." Cadence said.
"So what's her name?"
"Her name is Black Crystal and as you an see, she's met the CMC already." Cadence motion towards the CMC cape that Black Crystal was wearing.
"Okay. Anyway, we need some of your crystal guards, and we need to speak with Discord for a bit."
"Got it... DISCORD YOU ARE BEING CALLED"
Discord appeared after a moment and handed Twilight a map before disappearing again.
"Word gets around fast."
"It's Discord, well anyway, since Razor here is the captain and apparently also a member of Chrysalis' hive, he can gather some soldiers and you all can head out." with the silent command, Razor Wind headed off to gather some guards
"Can I come?" Black Crystal asked.
"They're going on a mission that could easily result in their death, so no."
"But I can handle myself, I've been practicing my Black Magic see." Black Crystal formed a set of shadow swords to emphasize her point.
"No, and what have I told you about forming weapons?"
"But Aunt Twilight will protect me, I know it."
"I said no."
"No offence Cadence, but if she's anything like I was when I was younger, then I know she'll just sneak out if you say no." Twilight said.
"I'm not letting my niece go out and get herself killed."
"Please mommy, I'll listen to aunt Twilight and I promise I'll be good." Black Crystal said.
"I'm going to regret this later on aren't I?"
"Maybe."
"Fine you can go, but be careful." Cadence sighed.
"Thanks mom!" with that, and a sudden rush of shadows, Black Crystal was standing next to Twilight with some crystal armor on.
"You're not going to stop her?" Shinning asked.
"I don't see why I should, she's an adventurous filly and I have faith that she can help."Twilight said.
"That's not like you, what happened to the Twilight I knew?" Shinning asked.
"If you believe Silver Night over there, then she was gone the second she got her cutie mark and became the Element of Magic. Other than that though, I've just had a long day of peace talk, belief shattering, forbidden magic learning, and dimensional threats." Twilight sighed when she finished.
"Wait what was that first part?" it was Silver that answered the question
"When the Elements of Harmony are chosen, the ponies that are chosen effectively become hosts to the elements, able to access former host memories and access older powers." Silver said.
Before Shinning could retort, Razor returned with at least twenty crystal guards.
"Well we need to head off so see you later." Twilight said as the group left with a collective teleport.
The final battle awaited.
