Escaping The Past

I was no stranger to darkness seeing as most of my time is spent in a prison cell and even before that I was mostly awake a night, just looking up at the beautiful stars. But there is no stars here in the endless void of black i am now floating in. I don't remember how I got here and given my track record I don't think I want to. All I know is one minute it's lights out at the prison the next there was a scream and now i'm here.

Just floating here is getting really boring. Guess i should start trying to figure out stuff about my new prison. Hmm is there sound?

well only one way to find out.

"HELLO!" I yell tilting my head up slightly.

Well there's that mystery solved. Next can I move hmm yep I can thankfully move, But there isn't much need to....

I'm still bored. Maybe I can make stuff appear like a lucid dream. Hmmm Cake.

"HNNNNGGGGG!"

Nope no cake. Bummer I would love some cake right about now. Maybe start smaller hmm maybe a colour.

"HNNNGGGGG!"

Well at least that worked there is now a vortex of various shades of blue swirling in front of me.

"Hmmm can I touch it?" I say as I reach my hand forward to touch the swirling mass of shades of blue. The colour splits apart where I touch it like water. It feels cold but soft and smooth, kinda like the walls of my cell. "Now that I have this to play with my time here may be less boring.

What felt like an hour later I was laying bored on a chair made of warm reds while on a beach made of warm cadmium yellow and cool icy blue. I was bored yet again.

"Well this has been fun." I say to no one in particular. "But I best be off." I say while walking towards the edge of the makeshift beach. All of the sudden all the colours raced towards each other making a ball of reds, blues, and yellows before speeding towards me. I see this and do what instincts tell me and run away screaming like a girl. I was a fast runner but the colours were slightly faster. They hit my back and i face plant into the unconsciously made golden walkway, all the while I become aware of a burning sensation where the colours hit me steadily increasing.

Then all the colours of the rainbow appear out of nowhere and envelope my entire body. all the while my vision if going black from the burning sensation which has now gone from attacking my skin to attacking my innards, and the last though before everything goes black YET AGAIN is "Boy I was killed by colours, this is definitely NOT how I thought I would die.
