My first ever clopfic/foalcon. I know for some of my followers (or those who read my stories) this is different. Do not read if this is not your cup of tea. Please feel free to criticize on any mistakes I had for the next time I post a clopfic.
An Apple For Two
"That's it! Now, put yer back inta it a lil' more." Applejack got a slight grin on her face as she looked back at Golden Bullet, who was waiting in excitement for his next assignment.
"Ya know what? Ah reckon mah lil' sister Apple Bloom needs help." She said looking in her young sisters direction with a grin on her face.
"Who? Her?" Golden Bullet examined the yellow filly lying in the grass, kicking a rock back and forward. "She's... uh... not doing anything."
"Well, Ah'm out of thangs for y'all to do. Big Macintosh's work is way to challengin' for ya. So, I thought... if Apple Bloom needed help..."
"Fine, I'll do it." Golden sighed as he trotted down the hill, towards the east side of the orchard. While he was walking, he examined the little filly some more. She had the same build as Applejack (but smaller of course), she had a red apple mane tied up in a glistening red-pink bow. He noticed something different about her, that she didn't have her cutie mark.
"Um... h-hello? Your sister told me to... ask if you needed help with something." Golden said once he approached the filly. He was taken back when almost immediately, she answered.
"Nope, sorry, no help here- Ah mean, no help needed here." She said nervously. Golden raised an eyebrow at the strange behaviour. He had seen her in school, she had never been to quick to rush things, was she?
"Well, ok..." Golden said slowly trotting away from the filly. He thought as he walked about why she had answered so quickly, but he soon shrugged it off. Maybe he would ask some other day. He continued to the west side of the orchard, where he had came from, and looked around for Applejack. He brought his hoof up to his forehead, and wiped away some of the sweat that was forming. It wasn't work, the sun just kept betting down on him. It must've been 90° out at least. He sighed and fanned himself with his wings. His wings made a small buzzing noise as they flapped to cool him off. He suddenly got the strange feeling somepony was watching him. He looked around at his surroundings, only to find Big Mac and Applejack doing, what they do best. And then, there was Apple Bloom. He looked in the filly's direction, only to get a glimpse of her head moving. Was she staring at him?
"Howdy, Ah suppose Apple Bloom didn't need anythang?" Applejack said from behind Bullet, which made him jump and spin around. "Whoops, didn't mean to scare ya there." She said with a giggle.
"Its ok, and no, she didn't need help." Golden replied with a sigh.
"Well then, why don't you go wash up. Would you like to stay for dinner?" Applejack asked. Golden hadn't noticed that the sun was starting to set behind a hill in the distance.
"Well, I guess." He didn't have any real plans anyway, and his parents were out of town. Maybe he could stay for a while. "Yeah, sure."
"Yee haw! A guest!" Applejack chanted and started for the barn. "Ah'll go tell Granny to get an extra helping done."
"Yeah, you do that." Maybe I'll see what's up with Apple Bloom. He thought.
"S-so, y-yer stayin' fer dinner." Said a shy voice from behind, which startled Golden. He turned to see a blushing Apple Bloom, her face as red as her mane.
Would everypony stop doing that?! "Uh yeah." He replied with hesitation.
"Are ya gonna... sleep over?" The words rang through Golden. He hadn't a place to sleep, maybe a night stay wouldn't be a bad idea.
"Maybe, I'll talk with your sister." He said looking in the direction of the barn, and then back to Apple Bloom. "Why are you beat red?"
"Uh... wha-what?!" She said covering her face with a hoof. "Uh... is that Applejack calling me? Whoops, Ah better go." She laughed nervously and then ran faster than a speeding bullet.
"Okay?" Golden said with confusion. He heard a chuckle from behind him and the sound of wheels squeaking. He looked back to see Big Macintosh. "What's wrong? Did I do something funny?"
"Nnope." The large stallion said before continuing towards the barn.
"Uh huh..." Golden said in confusion. He shrugged it off a proceeded toward the barn.

He walked into the entrance of the barn with his brain all messed up. "What is going on?" He said to himself.
"Well, of course y'all can stay here the nahght." Applejack said with a cheerful expression. "Ah don't see wahy not, y'all can sleep in Apple Bloom's room with her."
Apple Bloom's eyes went wide. "N-n-no, no no no, um... no boys aloud." Apple Bloom said, trying to find a way to keep from Golden sleeping in the same room as her.
"Apple Bloom, where are yer manners. The guest bedroom is occupied."
"No it's n- mmphf." Big Macintosh was cut off when Applejack put a hoof to his mouth.
"Yup, it's occupied, you two need to stay in the same room." She said removing her hoof from Big Mac's mouth.
Golden Bullet could hear a faint gulp coming from Apple Bloom. He looked at the slightly blushing filly in confusion. What was wrong with him? Was he just unbearable somehow? Golden shrugged mentally and turned to face the elder pony in front of him.
"Granny Smith?" He asked, receiving a nod in certification. Golden smiled as he looked into the amber eyes of the elder. He looked carefully around him to find nopony was around. "Hey, Granny Smith? Can I ask you something?"
"What's that youngin'?" She said raising a shaking hoof and placing it around Golden's shoulders.
"Do you have any idea what's up with Apple Bloom?" He asked in slight ponder. The elder grinned and laughed a little.
"Are ya that stupid?" She said in her shakey voice. Golden felt puzzled... and somewhat offended.
"I'm not the only one..." He muttered as he walked off into the kitchen, just in time to see Apple Bloom run off, her plate completely washed and everything.
"Ummm." Golden was still confused and a little bit frustrated at the strange behaviour the little filly was bringing. Applejack walked up next to him and opened a seat for him.
"Well, chow down! Don't be shy." She said in a cheery tone. Golden had suspected for a while that something had been up, but he ignored it.
"Uh... okay?" He said taking the seat, nervous that it could be a whoopie cushion like the pranks Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie had pulled on him a few times. Finding it was safe, he sat down. The food in front of him looked unbelievable. Apple fritor, apple fries, apple pies, etc.
"Woah." Golden said to himself at the sight. "Apple Bloom must eat a lot faster than I thought." He said and started to dig in to what he wanted. Little did he know, he was being watched, by three giggling fillies.

Golden had finished his dinner and was now in Apple Bloom's room, sorting out a small bed he made with pillows and a blanket. He felt, well, different to say at the least. Surprise (Epilogue)
It hasn't been the same around the barn for Golden Bullet. He was still having thoughts about what Apple Bloom had done to him, and it was keeping him from earning his pay. "Yeah, I think I would." What was he thinking? He couldn't do that, but Apple Bloom needs help. Strangely enough, he wanted to help.

"What do you want?" She said looking a way. Golden felt a blush and his heart beat at the sound of her voice.
"I- I- want to..." He trailed off.
"To push me inta more work?"
"No, to help you." Apple Bloom's ears shot up. This is the same colt who got her into this mess, right?
"Help?" She muttered out.
"No, scratch that... I'll do it for you." He said with a frown. "As a 'I hope you can forgive me if I forgive you' sort of thing."
