Transformation: What about our world?

When I was engulfed in that light, I felt a hand touching me and I thought it was my friends.  Then I was about five to six feet above the ground and landed on my back on the ground.  I lost my breath and coughed out some gunk from my mouth.  That tasted nasty, ash mixed with water equals sickness.

        I collected myself and I scanned my body.  I was fine, no broken bones or scrapes.  The crystal was right next to me, and it was lifeless it was not glowing. I looked around my area.  There was a marked area with a circle, now covered in vines and grass, but the circle was visible.

        I asked myself, “Where am I?”

        I focused and glanced around my surroundings…  ‘A jungle? Forest? Woods?  Where the hell am I?’ I thought.

        I still had my pack and I grabbed my flashlight.  It was almost pitch black and I shouted to find my friends.

        “Hatchi?! Gaitou?! Naki?!  Are you here?” I shouted.

        I heard a rustle of leaves to the left and I stared at it.  I heard a groan and in the bush was Hatchi.

        “Thank god. Hatchi!” I walked to him and continued, “What happen to you and our friends?” I asked.

        He coughed, “The ash cloud was getting rid of our air and when I heard you splash into the lake; I shouted to Gaitou and Naki, but they did not hear me.  I think some of the ash is in my fucking lungs.”

        He continued to cough and then we heard another rustle and it was Naki.  She was covered in ash and was crying.

        “Naki what is wrong?” I asked.

        “Gaitou is dead…” she said.

        “How is he dead?!” I shouted. I could not believe this…

        Naki explained, “When the ash cloud came down, he ran, but feel into a lava pocket and exploded in the lava!”

        She was trying to wipe away the tears, but they kept on streaming down her tears.  I had to be strong, Hatchi was coughing out more and more ash out of his lungs.  Naki was now coughing up ash like goop.

        “You guys stay here and I will gather fire wood.  We are in a totally different environment, and I do not think we are in Japan anymore.” I said.

        They agreed and they sat next to the circle. Which made me very curious about it.  ‘Maybe it is a camp spot and that is for camp fires?  Yeah that maybe it.’ I thought.

        I collected basic firewood and put it on the circle.  I grabbed my fire starter and had another source light.  I looked at Hatchi, he needed medical attention and maybe Naki.  I was fine, I was not coughing because I did not breathed in any ash.

        Then Naki spoke, “I do not recognize these trees, they are not from any forests I know.”

        Naki used to be going on different trips to many jungles in the amazon, and many others I cannot think to the top of my head.  You can say that she is a Amazonian women, because she can be one with the forest when she wanted to.

        “I cannot get satellite connection on my tablet and I do not have any chargers.  I can only theorize several things where we are.  One we when to the past, two the future with no humans and three, which is unlikely, in another world.” Hatchi ended.

        “Alright, if Naki could not recognize any of the trees here in this forest and you cannot get any form of internet, then yes we could be on another world.” I said.

        “That is just a bunch of bullshit, Zoey.  There is no fucking way we are in another world.” Naki said.

        “Well how else can you explain this Naki?  There is no ash, there is fresh air, there are different constellations in space and you of all people do not think you saw these trees in any forest, woods, or jungle areas?  That is fucking suspicious!” Hatchi shouted.

        He that was coughing more and more. I got out some medicine for the throat so he can clear out some of the ash he was getting out.  I gave him it and he flicked a piece into his mouth.

        I grabbed the huge thermal blanket and laid there in-between them.  I was still wet, and cold, but not alone.  Naki and Hatchi hugged me so I can get warm it was great.  Friends supporting me even with our parents and one friend that was gone.

        We slept for a while, Hatchi and Naki were coughing in their sleeps and I was awakened.  I looked at the stars and there was not a single star I recognized.  ‘Maybe… Nah!  It’s probably my imagination.’ I thought.

        Next morning, the fire was out and I was now dried out from my shirt and shorts, but my underwear was a different story.  I had to go to the bathroom really bad, and I sneaked out of the covers and let them cuddle in their sleep. ‘They are so cute together.’ I thought.

        I did not want to lose my way to the bathroom that we have never established.  I went through some trees and saw a fresh water lake.  ‘I can take a spit bath to at least refresh myself.’ I thought.

        Then I heard a rustle and it was Naki, “Can I have a turn taking a spit bath?  Hatchi is sleeping like a rock, but I decided to give him a kiss.”

        “Mm...  You looking more and more sexy and those breasts of yours are bigger than mine.” Naki said.

        “Really you want to talk about this now?  What if Hatchi hears this?” I asked.

        “I do not really mind if he will be walking in on me like in the Anime’s he watches.  Though you might mind if you were caught in your underwear.” Naki said.

        “Ugh! I do not believe you.  You do not have any shame!” I said.

        Naki giggled and then we were laughing.  We were trying to get happy in this situation.  I was done dressing and walked towards the supposed campsite we were in.

        “How was the morning bath?” Hatchi asked.

        “It was fine, cold, but fine overall.” I said.

        “We better hike out of these woods and try to find some civilization.  Once Naki gets done at least.” Hatchi said.

        “All done!” Naki shouted and walked into the campsite dressed, but she only had her shirt covering her breasts.

        “N-Naki?! What are you doing?” Hatchi shouted.

        “Aww… C’mon you do not want to feel these?  Or would you rather grope Zoey’s?”  She asked

        “YOU ARE STILL ON ABOUT THAT?!” I shouted.

        She laughed and showed that she was wearing one of those bras without a strap and looked like a bikini. She put her shirt back on and I could not help it, but laugh because Hatchi’s face was priceless.  A bright red face for a nerd is very funny.

        “You girls are very mean to me you know that?!” Hatchi shouted.

        Anyway we packed up what we could and head out were the sun was rising and that was our north for now.  The forest was not as thick as we thought, it was like all bush was spread out so people could walk through them.  Then we ran into a dirt path leading to a town that was in the distance.

        “Well that was not so far.” Hatchi said.

        “Yeah it was like we never heard the town being busy.  It might be a small town if we did not hear anybody, plus it was the middle of the night.” Naki said.

        “Hey I see a sign, it says…. ‘Ponyville’ Really?  That is the name of the town?  Strange, it’s like I can sense the presentence of a Brony.” I said.

        “Ah come on Zoey, if we run into Bronies, I will convert to a Brony right? Wrong.  It is not a disease Zoey.  It was just change.” Naki said.

        I ignored her comment and we continued to walk toward the town.
