Beyond The Door

During the time of Jesus, 31 BC ago lived a Pharisee named Neoi. He lived at Galilee, along with his fellow Pharisees. For him it was very risky to be a Pharisee that time because only he and Nicodemus were Jesus’ friends that time, so both of them kept this little secret.

The day came when the witnessed Jesus ascending to Heaven, along with His other disciples. After He’s gone from the clouds, Nicodemus went back to the temple while Neoi went to his house. He went inside, locked the doors, and walked down inside his secret basement. You can imagine that the door of the said basement was underneath a shelf full of scrolls and papers. As he was halfway down, he took a lighted candle on a lamp stand hanging beside a wall. When he made it to the bottom, he unrolled a stone which covered a large hole in the wall. It was as big as a door. In fact, it looked like a door but it’s not a door; it’s just a plain old hole. He then casted some sort of a spell to the hole that turned the hole into a wormhole. After staring at the glowing shockwave, two figures came out. One was a tall, white unicorn with wings and jalousies while the other figure is just like the other one, only half-tall and blue.

“Princess Celestia and Princess Luna”, Neoi bowed.

“You don’t need to bow down every time you see us, Neoi”, said Princess Celestia.

Neoi nodded.

“Why did you summon us for?” asked Princess Luna.

“I found a scroll about a prophecy concerning Equestria. I have no power to open it, and neither do you. It is because of its star-shaped locked that held the scroll in its place”, he whispered.

“If you haven’t opened thy scroll, how do you know that what is containing inside the rolled paper is about Equestria?”

“I may not see the inside of the scroll, but I can feel what it says.”

Neoi handed the roll to the two princesses but little did Neoi that he was already being watched by his fellow Pharisees. The Pharisees quickly went out of the house and reported everything to Ananias, the high priest. At first, Ananias didn’t believe at the report but as they continue Ananias sent for Neoi.

“Neoi, what is this thing I’ve been hearing about. First Jesus, now you; have you lost your mind also? Defend yourself!"

Neoi tried to say a word that will make the Pharisees' reports false, but he knew himself that he's a very honest man, and he never lied to anyone...until now.

“I...I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Suddenly, a war broke between him and his fellow Pharisees. The three Pharisees who reported Neoi burst with anger in front of the high priest and dragged him, along with Ananias, to his basement. Nicodemus tried to stop them, but his strength was no use as he's now thrown to the ground of his basement.  One of the three Pharisees casted the same spell Neoi did and, as you were expecting, the same wormhole showed up, giving the whole group a view of Medieval Ponyville.

“THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! Neoi, how dare you didn’t told us before!”

Neoi stood still, afraid of what will happen to Equestria and to him.

“I have no interest in this trash anymore. Take him to the prison while we take care of these ponies.”

Two guards suddenly grasped Neoi’s arm and dragged him outside the house. Neoi managed to escape the guards’ fiercely hands and hid on a ship nearby. The ship went off to Rome as the guards appeared but it was too late, Neoi already ran away.

Meanwhile, Ananias, the Pharisees, and some of the guards left charged towards and out of the Everfree Forest and captured every single creature on land and some on air, whether a pony or not.

“Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, trouble is rising in Ponyville right now!” said one of the royal guards as the news spreaded wide.

“What’s wrong?” asked Princess Luna.

The guard motioned the princesses to go to a nearby balcony to get the horrifying view: human soldiers wrecking down every houses, Pharisees kidnapping every pony they encounter in their way, and a priestly figure commanding the soldiers and the Pharisees.

“Sister" said Luna, "Who do you think has done this mess?”

“I have no idea, but...”

“Do you think it could be of Neoi’s doings?”

“Probably.”

Princess Celestia casted a spell to stop the humans from destroying Equestria further, then she flew down and spoke.

“I believe that you know a human named ‘Neoi’, right?” asked the Princess.

“Oh, him" said Ananias with disgust. "I used to look above him with great expectations, but now he fell right to the ground. Anyway, he’s the reason why we’re here, he brought us here.”

“Do you know where he is right now?” said Luna.

“It’s no use looking for him right now; he escaped!”

“I knew I shouldn't have trusted that foreigner!" said Princess Celestia to herself. "He used us to trap us all, to put us all in danger, but I’ll fix everything up.”

With that Princess Celestia and Princess Luna lifted them high up where every pony can see them as the princesses suddenly casted a spell on each of them.

“From now on, we will cut the relations between ponies and humans of the outer world!" shouted Princess Luna. "You and your people will forget our faces and this place, and our people will forget your faces! You will be banished from entering our world by any means, and only the one who is written in the scroll shall be the only one to travel between worlds!”

With a rumbling of the ground, Ananias, the Pharisees, and the soldiers were casted out of Equestria and were thrown to ground right in front of the Temple. Ananias was the first to wake up, and in that moment, they forgot what happened that very day, and seems that no one, even those who believed, did not believe in the existence of talking ponies anymore; except for one…
