Chapters Entry 2
So after a couple of hours struggling to find survivors and supplies, we've finally decided to take an break. We did see a couple of alive ponies, but they refused to talk to us. Well, except for one. We were at this bakery called sugar cube corner, and this really hyper pony named Pinkie Pie was more than eager to come with us. However, we split up to find more supplies and I hadn't seen her since. I can't say i'm not glad, that pony was extremely annoying.
Amber Day said it should be night by now. That's right! how is Princess Luna and Princess Celestia doing? their immortal, right? they should be alive, hopefully. Maybe they are just too weak to control the sun and moon. Yeah, that's it! eventually, they should get their strength back and go back to raising the sun and moon.

So it has been around 24 hours, and the sun still hasn't fallen. Oh well, the Princesses just need more rest, right? I still hadn't seen that Pinkie Pie pony yet, which is fine by me. Yes, it is a bit mean to think of her like that, but it's not like someone is going to read my thoughts or mind and judge me. Ugh, I just jinxed myself! Um, what do you have to do to un-jinx yourself? Knock on wood or something? I guess this parchment will do. Okay, there I did it. Speaking of parchment, i'm going to run out of ink soon. Hopefully I can hunt some up. I'll do it later. Right now, Amber Day is sleeping. I can't understand how ponies manage to sleep during an crises, i'm going to end up staying up until I fall down. Heh, see what I did there? staying up till I fall down.... Okay, that was really bad now that I think about it.
I found that everypony has cried at least once, except me. Does that make me cold? I guess the situation hadn't hit me yet. I really wish the sky was back to being blue, not red... Great, that Pinkie Pie pony came back. I better just listen to what she says, or she will drive me crazy.

Okay, I got some more ink and Pinkie Pie ran off to do whatever. I'm looking at my supplies right now, and their not good. I have 2 sleeping bags, an box of cupcakes Pinkie Pie gave me, some medicine, a couple cans of beer, (Just in cast times are bad) clothes, some food, an dead flashlight, and some device that Amber Day said will help us one day, and a couple of books. Hmm... Amber Day just asked me if we should try to go to canterlot to see the princesses. We have nothing better to do, so I said yes. She looked a lot happier after I said yes, and went back to sleep.
So going to an different topic, I been having an strange feeling since the tragedy. It's like, my body knows something life changing is going to happen. Wasn't the tragedy life changing enough? Hmm... I may as well describe myself. I am an black and white pegasus with an boring, curly grey mane. My eyes are the exact color as my mane. My cutie mark is an yellow and orange moon by the side of an grey sun. Kinda weird, right? it shows my love for the night and day, and how I think both of them are equals. Well, I should really try to fall asleep, so yeah.

Sorry, diary, this entry is going to be an quick one. We are currently walking to Canterlot, and I thought the walk was going to be fast, but I was terribly wrong. I never realized just how lovely trains were. Right now, Pinkie Pie is carrying our stuff, and i'm not really sure if I should trust her. She's doing an okay job so far, but she looks really tired already, and she is quickly falling behind. I wonder if she ever carried any weight at all. It would make sense, seeing that balloons are her cutie mark. She just float around all day, everyday. I really feel bad for her right now, i'm going to carry the stuff now, so I can't write while I walk anymore. Huh, I wonder how thats even possible... i'm a pegasus after all. Oh well, it's better not to question things anymore.

I am a bit worried about Amber Day, she said she was going to relieve herself, and left. She hasn't came back yet. Hopefully she hasn't got lost, she is a bit forgetful. We all slept for about 8 hours, but it was terrifying. I could hear rats skittering around, which freaked me out because I didn't want to open my eyes and find an big, nasty rat sitting on my head. Yuck, just the thought makes me shudder. I hadn't have an drink for an couple days, and we didn't pass by any supplies yet. Those beers are starting to look good, even though i've promised myself never to drink. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Oh, ok I see Amber Day now. She's just laying on the floor... Oh my Celestia! she's dead! it looks like... it looks like her eyes were scooped out, I only see black pits where her eyes should be. Her stomach has been cut open and I could see what she ate. Who would do such an thing? I just can't believe it... she's dead! gone! theres only an mass of blood and guts, which used to be my friend...
Pinkie Pie is here now, and for once the smile is off her face. She's crying now. Why? why am I not crying? am I really that cold and cruel? why does this have to happen to me? I did nothing to deserve this! this just an dream, this is just an dream, this is just an dream... Ugh, this is horrible. I just want to fall down in an pit forever. I can't write right now, I need some time to mourn...

Um... okay, I feel a bit better now. Pinkie Pie managed to get an fire going, which amazed me because the wood she used was damp, but the fire started just fine. I'm quickly learning not question her. We ate some apples, which thankfully quenched my thirst. Pinkie Pie was upset I didn't try one of the cupcakes she gave me, but I told her that i'll eat some of them when we get to Canterlot. She seemed happy at the news, Of course. So we are walking again, and the mountain Canterlot rests against is just in front of us. The mountain was way too steep to hike up, but because i'm an Pegasus I could just fly up there, but Pinkie Pie is an earth pony. I suggested that she could follow the train tracks and i'll meet her up there, but she didn't want to leave me alone.
"What if the baddie pony that got Amber Day gets you?" She asked.
"Don't worry Pinkie, i'll be fine" I responded.
"But what if your not fine? what if the baddie pony kills you while i'm away, and i'll never know and once I get there and see you dead i'll be like-" She stopped her ranting to give an dramatic gasp.
"Whatever, I guess i'll just have to carry you then. you happy?"
Pinkie Pie nodded, and I picked her up with my front legs as I flew up. She was a lot heavier than I thought, and once I reached the castle I was out of breath and my wings were sore. Pinkie Pie didn't seem to notice how out of breath I was, and she hopped along towards castle, humming "La la la". Ugh, i'm running out of ink again.

My friend told me to make an diary or whatever to express my feelings, so I gathered up some parchment that I stole from the local school, stuck them together, and made an crap diary. Whatever works, I guess.
So I should tell you about the tragedy first. Trust me, you need to know.
So it was an rather calm day, the pegasus put a couple of big, white clouds in the sky for an added affect. I was eating an extremely yummy carrot dog. I don't really like carrots all that much, but some how the pony that made it put something in it that made it taste like I was eating an piece of cake. Weird, right? oh, my friend was with me too. Her name was Amber Day. Wow, she was actually the strongest mare I know! I've seen her buck and move things that shouldn't move in the first place. She was orange color, with an long brown and red mane. Her cutie mark was some type of flower i've never seen before, and apparently she grows tons of the flowers. I've asked if I could see them, but she just laughed and said no. Weird.... anyway, she was flirting with some stallion as I was reading the newspaper. Suddenly, my ears popped, and the most horrible noise reached my ears. It sounded like an mix of somepony screaming for their life, and an siren. I looked up, and the last thing I saw was the sky turn blood red as I passed out.
So here I am now, with the corpses of ponies scattered around, and everything destroyed. The sky is still blood red, and the clouds has disappeared. Great, now Amber Day is crying her heart out and puking at the same time. I really don't know why I am friends with her in the first place, maybe because she was the only friend I could get. Well, I've got to go, Amber Day is really losing it now.

So you remember when I was talking about how I was having an weird feeling? Well, the feeling has been getting so strong I almost barfed. Amber Day gave me some medicine, and now the feeling gone, for now. We've been walking along quite awhile now, and the tiredness is starting to get to me. I can no longer think straight, and I can't focus on anything longer than 5 seconds. Amber Day is saying that i'm stumbling, but I don't believe her. I know my body, I know when i'm stumbling or not, and i'm not stumbling. Or am I really that tired? Maybe we should stop for the night-er, day. Amber Day seems more than happy to stop, so I guess we will continue after a good sleep. Even Pinkie Pie was showing signs of tiredness, her weird hoping was getting weaker and she is starting to walk like an normal pony, which is not normal for her. Wait... she is still hoping just the same as this whole time. I really need some sleep.
