After walking out of Mavis' room with teary eyes, Luna made her way to where her friends and family were at, 'Oh, i do hope the others know what to do,' she thought to herself as she entered the throne room. Looking up, she could see everyone with looks of concern on their faces.
"Luna, were you able to find the cause of Mavis' woe?" Celestia asked.
"Yes, and they are horrible," Luna said, walking to embrace her sister for comfort.
"Shh, its ok. Now tell us what you saw," Celestia asked of the lunar princess. Holding back her tears, Luna then explained what she saw, from how Mavis' parents were loving towards the young girl, how they would play with Mavis when she was lonely, but she had to let a few tears and sobs escape before telling the most heartbreaking part. Everyone in the room was horrified at how cruel fate had to be to poor little Mavis.
"The poor little baby," Cadence said, crying at how badly Mavis had to be treated by kids older than her.
"Its just like Mikes story," Twilight said, trying to suppress her tears.
"Only worse," Mike corrected, also feeling bad for the young girl.
"Well, at least Discords doing something about that little punk," Chris said with a sneer.
"But that only leaves a question on what we should do for Mavis?" Nathan asked, which everyone pondered.
"Well, why don't we show her around Ponyville? It could help her get used to her new surroundings?" Toby suggested.
"Its worth a shot, I mean, what other place is more friendlier than Ponyville?" Pinkie Pie asked, which everyone all nodded in agreement.
"Then its settled, when Mavis wakes up from her nap, we'll take her to Ponyville," Twilight finalized, which everyone nodded in agreement.
"So then, in the mean time, you all should enjoy your stay in the Crystal Empire while you're all here," Cadence said with a smile. Everyone nodded, and went to tour the Empire.
Meanwhile, in an abandoned warehouse,
"Aw man Kyle, you really gave that bratty little wimp the what for?" one boy asked.
"Yep, and that'll teach her not to rat us out," another boy, obviously Kyle, said with pride.
"Yeah, but it won't protect you from others who're willing to rat you out!" a voice called, which made the boys jump.
"Whose there?! Come out and take your beating like a man!" Kyle demanded.
"Oh, I don't fight physically, and my siblings wont be too nice either," the voice said again.
"Get ready to fight Mark, this guy sounds cocky," Kyle said.
"Right behind you Kyle," Mark said.
"Oh, someone's feisty," a feminine voice commented.
"Yeah, but that attitude can get them cooked real badly," another, yet more aggressive tone said.
"True that Brian," another wise sounding voice said.
"Yeah, and it would be a shame if some photos of these punks setting fire to that house were somehow given to the police. Oh wait, they were," the first voice said, as the warehouse doors opened, to reveal an army of police surrounding the warehouse.
"FREEZE! NO ONE IN THAT WAREHOUSE MOVE! YOU ARE UNDER ARREST FOR MURDER AND CHILD ABUSE! AND MAKE NO ATTEMPTS TO ESCAPE, YOU'RE COMPLETELY SURROUNDED!" a policeman with a megaphone yelled.
"Uh oh, what do we do Kyle?!" Mark asked hysterically.
"How should I know?!" Kyle retorted.
"Oh, what options are there to choose from? They could always give themselves up?" another stealthy voice said.
"Yeah right! We don't have to, seeing as how we're not moving!" Kyle snapped.
"Oh hum, that puts a dent in our plans to uphold justice, but no matter, if they won't move, then we'll make them,
another voice said, as a moving sidewalk formed under the feet of the two teenagers, and they were forcibly moved towards the police.
"Run Mark!" Kyle yelled, as he and the other boy tried to run away.
"Well that's no fun," the feminine voice said.
"That, I can fix," another voce said, just as the surface of the moving sidewalk turned to slippery ice, and the as soon as the two punks fell, they were taken towards the police, and to their horror, their parents.
"Kyle, what were you thinking when you hurt that sweet little girl?!" Kyle's mother demanded.
"I don't know or care, that little runt deserved to be put in her place," Kyle replied, only to be met with a hard smack that echoed, "OWW! What was that for?!" Kyle snapped.
"Don't act surprised!" Kyle's mother snapped, glaring daggers at her son.
"And as for you Mark, you're not getting off the hook either!" Marks father snarled.
"Who told you?! Was it that brat?!" Kyle demanded, only to be smacked again.
"No, in fact, that sweet little girl had nothing to do with any of this!" Kyle's mother snapped.
"It was my doing," a man with mismatched clothing came out and explained, "No crime goes without consequences," he said with a sneer.
"We are most disappointed with both of you. Officer, take our former sons to jail," the mother said, as she walked away, not caring about her son anymore.
"C'mon boys, you two already have your sentence," the chief said, putting handcuffs on the boys, and leading them into a police car, "Thank you for the assistance," the chief said to the human Discord, before taking the boys away.
"Ok kids, you can all come out now!" Discord called to his children, who all came out of their hiding places.
"Well, that takes care of those punks, but what of Mavis?" Silver asked.
"Don't worry, I made sure she would meet the right couple," Discord replied with a smile.
"Well then, I think we can continue our vacation for awhile," Eris said with a smile.
"I think you're right, but where to go next?" Discord asked.
"How about a mall?" Stealth suggested, which everyone nodded, and made their way to a mall.
Back in the Crystal Palace,
Stirring in her sleep, Mavis blinked her eyes open, having the first good sleep she has had in a while, "*Yawn* O-oh my, I-I must have s-slept in! Oh, P-princess C-cadence is going to be m-mad for not w-waking up on t-time!" Mavis cried in fear before realizing something, "Oh w-wait, I already w-woke up e-earlier," she said, feeling silly for forgetting that. Just then she heard the door opening from behind her, and turned to see Cadence standing there with a sad smile on her face, "O-oh, P-princess C-cadence, I didn't mean to fall asleep a-again," Mavis said, feeling guilty for falling asleep when it wasn't bedtime.
Cadence then scooped the little girl up in a warm hug, "Shh, don't worry sweetheart, you were just tired, that's all," Cadence reassured the little girl, "Mavis, my sister in law and friends want to do something special for you," Cadence said.
"B-but why? I d-didn't do a-anything, I p-promise!" Mavis cried.
"Shh, you didn't do anything, its something they want to do for you," Cadence reassured the little girl.
"O-ok, it isn't a h-haunted h-house ride, is it? I don't like s-scary r-rides," Mavis asked.
"No, its actually a tour of where Twilight and her friends all live, Ponyville, and don't worry, everyone in Ponyville is really nice, and they wouldn't even think of hurting a sweet little girl like yourself," Cadence replied.
"T-that sounds n-nice, I t-think I'll e-enjoy it," Mavis said with a small smile.
"GREAT! Then lets go and find them, if they're not busy," Cadence said, leading Mavis out the door.
"A-and if they are b-busy, then we should j-just leave them b-be," Mavis said, praying that Cadence won't be too mad at her suggestion.
"Very well, but if they aren't, then they can take you to tour Ponyville," Cadence said, smiling down on the little girl, as they went to find the mane six.
