When Applejack is arrested for murder when two bodies of two mares were found near the Apple farm in a ditch. Twilight wants to help her friend and remembers Phoenix Wright, who helped Rainbow Dash the previous year, and calls him over.

But she also brought the same judge and Prosecutor Edgeworth to Equestria as well, which may lead to one of the craziest trials ever.

Wright and Edgeworth in one case regarding a stabbing death at the end of the trial worked together to find the true culprit, but Edgeworth only helped nearing the end of the trial, but if he does help, can he and Phoenix work together to save Applejack?
