The death of a Rainbow

The stallions stand among the rest of the soldiers which are broken into three groups earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are briefing the soldiers in person for this attack. "Rainbow turns his head in unison with all the other ponies as the royal sisters enter the room. Princess Luna walks to the center of the room.

"ATTENTION BRAVE SOLDIERS OF EQUESTRIA!!" "YOU STAND BEFORE ME AND MY FAIR SISTER CELESTIA READY TO FIGHT!!" "WE ARE GLAD TO HAVE SUCH FINE STALLIONS RISK THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR NATION!!!" "KNOW THAT MANY OF YOU MAY DIE TODAY!!!" "BUT I AM SURE THAT WITH YOUR EXTENSIVE TRAINING YOU WILL ALL PROSPER IN BATTLE!!" "MAY HARMONY GUIDE YOU IN THIS DARK BATTLE AND THE BLESSING OF THE SUN AND THE MOON PROTECT YOU!!!"

Luna then steps away as Celestia comes over and stands beside her. "MY BRAVE SOLDIERS OF EQUESTRIA, WE ARE JUST MINUTES AWAY FROM AN ATTACK ON THE EVIL TYRANT KING SOMBRA." "NOW WE ARE GOING TO HAVE EACH PEGASI CARRY EITHER ONE UNICORN OR ONE EARTH PONY." "NOW SINCE YOU HAVE NOT BEEN ASIGNED A FLYING PARTNER THIS MAY BE A GOOD TIME TO MAYBE SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR BEST FRIEND." "NOW AS THE UNICORNS AND EARTH PONIES ARE DROPPED FROM THE AIR THEY WILL BE ON THE NORTH SIDE AS WELL AS THE AIR SUPPORT." "MY SISTER AND I WILL BE ATTACKING THE SOUTH SINCE THE DEFENSES WILL BE FOCUSED ON YOU, GOOD LUCK MY BRAVE FIGHTERS."

The two sisters then leave the room. A buzzer sounds as the huge doors open in front of the soldiers. A second higher pitched buzzer then sounds and the pegasi then fly to who they are air lifting. Rainbow immediately flys over to Miki and grabs his hooves. "Hey Rainbow?" "Yeah Miki?" "Are you ready for this?" "Lets do it." Rainbow says with a smile. The third and final buzzer sounds and all the pegasi shoot out of the building at full speed towards the Crystal Empire.
