The Mystery of the Night.

It was a long morning in the castle as everyone sat around the table eating their breakfast, Luna sitting at one end with Midnight and Electric Storm, her tummy plump with a new baby that they are going to name Ember. At the other end of the table was Celestia sitting all alone as usual, she never thought to marry any pony, she was always caught up in her royal duties to have time to go out and meet a nice stallion, the funny part about that though is she did marry, just not a pony. She married her childhood friend Discord who recently became good again. The only friends she has are Discord, her sister Luna, brother-in-law Electric, niece Midnight, Princess Cadence and her faithful student and now alicorn, Princess Twilight Sparkle. Celestia doesn’t always go to visit Discord but he does stay to pop in every now and again to bring her flowers. Celestia is currently pregnant as well having a small baby bump of her own. Just as Midnight, who is about 17 now, got up Discord comes flying into the room and lands next to Celestia with a bouquet of a dozen rare flowers. Midnight used her magic to pick up the plates of those who are done and take them into the kitchen for the waiter stallion to clean them. She dropped them into the sink and walked out. “Mom, I have a date later, I need something to wear. Can I wear your pink dress?” Midnight asked as her mom got up with Electrics help.  They started off toward the garden.

“Sure honey, you know where it is.”  Luna yelled over her shoulder as then was out in the garden playing around with Electric as if the two were still young. Midnight took a shower than walked into her mother’s room. She awed at how beautiful it looks since she last saw it. She walked into the closet and pulled out a small pink box than contained the dress. She set the box onto her back and walked into her room. She dried herself off than braided her long hair that she felt was to long as all the alicorns had long hair. She grabbed a pair of scissors and cut if off so it was short, she dropped the braid into the trash and marveled at her beautiful short brown hair; she took out her makeup and put light blue, almost the color of her tipped wings and dabbled it on her eyelids and smiled in the mirror, she used her magic to help her into her mother’s dress which fit her perfectly when she was a young mare but now it fits Midnight to a T.  Midnight couldn't wait to see her Native-Equestria mare she knew and loved again; the mysterious mares name? Native Feather. She lived with the buffalo tribe most of her life than got brought into Appaloosa by some nice stallion named Braeburn who was in love with Little Strongheart from Feather’s tribe but Feather was also in love with her but as their two worlds grew apart they themselves grew apart than Little Strongheart married Braeburn, and at the wedding Feather ran, and ran as far as she could. She collapsed in the gates of the Castle just as Midnight was making her way out to raise the moon in the garden as she always did. She stopped and helped the young mare up. “Hello, who are you?” She asked in a hushed tone as the mare wobbled back and forth trying to stay stable on her feet, she was the same age as Midnight, 15 years old.

“Names Native Feather  .” She said just as she collapsed but Midnight caught her with her magic. Since their meeting Native moved into Ponyville just on the out skirts and made many friends.

Midnight was shaken out of her memories when there was a loud scream from outside; she recognized it as her mothers. She jumped out of her window, opening her wings and flying to her dear mother who was lying bleeding on the ground. “Midnight teleport us to Crystal Empire hurry your sister is coming!” Luna groan out in pain as they teleported to Crystal Empires hospital, Midnight lifted her into a bed and ran her into an empty room. Midnight ran out screaming for a doctor. Doctor Pepper walked over.

“What can I help you with Princess?” Doctor Pepper said. Luna screamed from inside of the room, Doctor Pepper ran in as Midnight teleported to Native Feather’s house in Ponyville and walked to her, grabbed her hoof and teleported back to the hospital room where the head of the baby is already out. Luna was crying and screaming for mercy. “Breathe and push,” the doctor repeated over and over until Luna had pushed out the small purple alicorn. Doctor Pepper cleaned the small filly and handed her in a dark pink blanket. “What will you like to name her?”

“ Ember Crystal .” Electric Storm said with a smile, he leaned down and kissed his new princess’s head.

“Beautiful.” Midnight, Doctor Pepper and Native Feather all said together.
