Chapters Chapter 2
The train came screeching to a halt as the train slowly derailed. The crash was extremely loud and only our two main characters survived.
"Oh Mother!" Ross shouted as it all happened. They're bodies hit the snow and rocks as they slid to a slow stop.
"Ross!!" Twilight screamed as she grabbed his hand and held on for dear life.
Soon after the crash the two were left stranded in the mountains. With only their wits about them. An idiot and his wife. Though technically his intelligence is greater then hers, he has no common sense.
"This fanfic went downhill....." He said while staring into nothingness.
"What?" Twilight asked.
"Nothing...." He replied.
"Ross..... We're not gonna make it.....are we?" She lost more hope with every passing moment.
"I'm the pessimist, hun... You have to be the reassuring one." He said while moving closer and hugged her.
"Not this time...." Her fear and hopelessness showed in that moment.
"Okay then.... My turn...." Ross said to her.
"We'll make it....right?" She said.
"Yeah!" He smiled to her, though she read his face and knew he lied to her.
*A few long, cold days later*
"Is that?" Twilight stopped mid sentence.
"A train! Flag 'em down!" Ross barked the order.
Twilight liked this assertive side of Ross. Her wings slowly rose in accordance to her new feelings.
"Help!!!" They screamed and shouted. The train was sent to search for survivers of the crash. It saw them and came screeching and sliding to a stop.
"My god! Send the medics out there now! Those two may not be okay!" The conductor shouted.
The medics came rushing out at full gallop leading Ross and Twilight to the train.
Chapter 3
They were transported to a hospital in Canterlot, where they were both given medicine for a cold and possibly pneumonia.
"Great vacation, Ross....." Twilight said as pissed as ever.
"Not my faul- oh wait....it was..." He replied.
"You're an idiot and I'm very pissed that I married you, Ross Nathaniel Grimm!" She yelled across the hospital room, "You made me fat, and ugly, an-and I hate you!"
"Twiley..... You don't mean that.....do you?" Ross said in his normal pessimistic tone.
"Of course I do!" She screamed, her voice cracking on the word "course".
"Twiley..... I-" Interrupted again.
"No.... Ross.... I didn't.... I'm sorry.." She realized she was in the wrong.
"Hey, knock knock...." Fluttershy's familiar voice was at the door.
"Oh.... Fluttershy, please come in." Twilight said in a very calm tone.
"Hey, Flutters...." Ross said while wiping his tears.
"Are you two okay?" Fluttershy said quietly.
"Fine, fine." Twilight replied. Her remorse weighed heavily on her shoulders over her current actions. Seeing Ross cry was always like watching someone kick a foal in front of her. She hated it. And now herself a bit more.
"Twiley...." Ross spoke up, "I want you to know, you're right. I am an idiot. And everyday, when I wake up next to you I think, 'How did I end up with someone perfect, she's so perfect. And then there's me....' I love you...."
"I love you too!" She said while trying not to cry.
"You guys are so fit for each other, I wish Dashie was like that...." Fluttershy blushed.
The UW Chronicles
"Twiley! Are you all packed up?" Ross called to his wife. He always loved the trips the two went on.
"Almost! I'm packing the dress that you love so much!" She replied with a voice rich in happiness. The dress in question was a pink and gold getup that complemented her new bigger figure. Which was her single minded husbands fault.
"Great! Canterlot, here we come!" He said with very much excitement. The home town of both ponies spoken of.
"We're having dinner at your mom's remember!" She called to him, "The castle grounds will be beautiful this time of year!"
"Aunt Luna won't be able to make it though...." Ross huffed. His favorite relative will be absent on the annual picnic in the castle's garden.
"Don't be so pessimistic, dear!" She said with a kiss.
"Fine...." Ross said smiling. He was that way by nature, not choice.
"I know you're lying to me!" She accused him, "You're the most downy stallion I've ever met!"
"Oh...." He said with overflowing sadness.
"But you're my pessimist." She said as she hugged him. He was happy to be short when it came to hugs from her.
"Boobies!" He said, though it sounded more like "Shooshies!" Due to his current facial position.
"Pervert." She shoved him off with that comment.
"Sorry...." He said with his head to the ground.
"Let's just get going...." She huffed with anger.
*A Few Hours Later*
"Hey! Get up, Ross!" Twilight shoved him off her hoping to wake him, to no avail.
"Okay! Next stop! The Gryphon Kingdoms!" The conductor shouted as the train darted forward.
"Wake up, Ross!!" She slapped him with that, but it was too late. The train was already moving.
Some time later Ross woke up with an angry look from his wife. "Wha happen?" He yawned.
"We missed our stop! Its your fault!" She yelled at him.
"I'm sorry, hu-" he was immediately interrupted.
"No! First you're such a pervert this morning! Now this!" She shouted at him. She took a deep breath and huffed at him before turning her back to him.
"Twiley?" He said with regret and sadness in his voice. He grab the fat on her sides, a surefire way to piss her off, and moved them up and down. "Don't be that w-" He was then slapped and shoved to the window.
"ASSHOLE!" She screamed at him. Then promptly moved to another seat on the train.
She eventually forgave him on the way to their new destination. And the two fell asleep in each other's embrace.
