The Lost Elements

Prologue: Forbidden Secret

A Long Time Ago, when Equestria was young, after The Princess Sisters had defeated Discord, a new enemy threatened the newly established peace and harmony that Equestria was beginning to see, an evil that was said to have been born form the leftover chaos from the reign of Discord, and from the hearts of ponies who were still loyal to him, they created a being of pure evil and hatred, a being whose name has long since been forbidden from being spoken or mentioned by any-pony, and whose legend has long since been kept hidden from all, this beings name, was Lord Monochrome…

Lord Monochrome began filling the hearts of pure ponies with evil, and tried to get them to turn against the Princesses. Celestia and Luna decided that the only way to defeat Monochrome, was to use The Elements of Harmony. But to there shock and horror, The Elements had no affect on him, with all hope lost, the skies of Equestria began to glow a glorious and bright rainbow color, then, something began to descend from the clouds, and when they landed in front of the Princesses, they looked to see what this mysterious object was, and to there amazement, they were 6 more Elements of Harmony, these Elements were eventually known as, Courage, Wisdom, Respect, Trust, Love, and Balance. With the combined power of these new Elements, along with the Originals, these new powers managed to banish Lord Monochrome deep within The Everfree Forest, sealing him into a Stone Tablet, believing him to be gone, Forever….but, not everything is forever….

After Monochromes defeat, the New Elements then scattered across all over Equestria, never to be found again, leaving the Princesses with a message, “When the time comes, we will return, but only when we are truly needed again”….But, when will that time come, and more importantly….why, would they need to come back?….

Almost 1000 years have passed since then, and The Elements of Harmony have found new bearers, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and The Princesses faithful student; Twilight Sparkle. But the Lost Elements have still never found a bearer; at least not known to any-pony besides the Princesses, nor have they shown any sign of activity, the only sign of their activity was a large tablet structure that was found in the deserts of Saddle Arabia, it was indeed unique, it was large stone structure; about the size of a wall, but what caught The Princesses attention, were the six gems embedded into the structure, each a different color; Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink, and Grey. The Archaeological Team were told by The Princesses to bring the structure to the castle, and to be keep what they found secret from the public. They've kept the tablet hidden deep within the castle, with Celestia and Luna being the only ones allowed to see it, and since then, they've been waiting, waiting to see if maybe one day, They will return…

And maybe, that day will soon arrive, and when that day comes, Celestia and Luna will be ready, but the only question is, will Twilight and her friends be ready?….

Well, to begin our tale, we begin on the outskirts of Ponyville, there we find a Grey Unicorn slowly walking towards the town, he was an average built pony, not to tall but not to short, he had a medium length mane that curved upward to the side, it was a bright silver color with two streaks running through it, one black, and one white. His eyes were grey, and strangely, despite looking quite young, they looked quite old, older then his age. Around his neck was a Black stringed necklace that had a yin yang hanging from it, he was wearing a dark grey saddle bag with yin yang’s on them. Finally, his Cutiemark was possibly his strangest feature, his mark was also Yin Yang.

As he made his way to Ponyville, he stopped by a small brown sign, he looked to see what was written on it; “Welcome to Ponyville, the friendliest place in all of Equestria”. “Friendliest Place in of Equestria?…I hope so, I really do…Just once, I’d like to meet some nice ponies….ponies, who don’t see me as a monster….” said The Grey Unicorn as he began to continue his walk into the town, but what he doesn't know, is that soon he will discover something about himself, something that not only will change his life forever, but will also cause everypony to learn a lesson in acceptance of others who are different, and this, is where our story begins….
